Nothing will happen

Russia and China haven't been playing by the rules for years, why should the US stagnate in missile tech while they get to keep moving forward?

this mean nothing
also nuclear winter is a myth

I doubt either side even followed it from the start

Ww3 will NEVER happen. I
They don't need it to.

No one wants war against China, Russia or the U.S. nukes are deterrant based weapon.

Japan is going to build nukes. So is Canada.
My bet India is the first one to pancake a city.

good, maybe this will somehow mean the kikes gets nuked someday

Nuclear winter is BS and we're pulling out cause it's useless and we want to update the b-1/2s to b-21s but having them in production would violate the treaty because they're nuke capable.

US pulled out of the treaty because it had become intolerably one-sided advantage to Russia, disadvantage to US. Russia having lost her east europe buffer zone, China having technically infinite advantage over US in intermediate range missiles. Treaties are worth something but when an underlying situation gets imbalanced past a relatively little bit its going to get canned one way or another. Can't hang national security on one.

US withdrawal from INF has far more to do with China than Russia. The fact that Russia has violated the treaty for long time is just convenient excuse. The problem is that INF treaty only involved US and Soviet Union is a problem, even if French also got rid of their ground based missiles in favor having their nuclear deterrence based entirely on submarines. They had silo based IRBM's as part of their nuclear forces until 90's.

Disobedience, huh!?
That's a mistake!

INF does not cover B-21s. That's START.

The problem with such silos is that you can't hide them forever in a place like France. They'll eventually get spotted and added to a first strike target list. It's pointless to keep such expensive structures maintained when subs are an option.

I predict a world war within the next ten years, the spark will be China attempting to halt all access to the south China sea, but they won't do this until they are confident they can stop a US nuclear strike.

With this in mind, an expansion of US nuclear capability, particularly if it involves the development of newer and more effective delivery systems is therefore probably the most reliable way of delaying the start of this war.

Yay, someone with a clue.

You can't hide silos in the US, either. That's not why France got rid of theirs (or we kept some of ours).

And we know why China is using older bombers because when START comes off, Chinese black project super drone bombers will suddenly be flying out of nowhere.

>China attempting to halt all access to the south China sea,
haven't they been doing this for a while now?

Russia withdrew from START because the US withdrew from the BMD treaty.
Also AEGIS ashore technically was a violation of START since there is basically nothing stopping the US from being able to put Tomahawks into the VLS.

None of this is good, Silo launched MIRV, new hyper sonic missiles that can hide under the horizon, re-proliferation of nuclear tipped cruise missiles and MRBM.
All of this is destabilising and barely anyone has talked about it in mainstream circles, despite the fact that this has been bubbling along for the past 20 years now.

>PICK UP THAT CAN!

>playing by the rules
we are citing the fact that russia has developed and deployed new mrbms that are nuclear capable. the usa has used the tomahawk missile which is nuclear capable for over 30 years. we've never actually observed the treaty nor has russia cared enough to cause a shitstorm by pointing fingers and officially pulling out before deploying nuclear weapons in other countries like we're about to do.

It's not really destabilizing in terms of US and Russia. The US already enjoys nuclear supremacy over Russia. The issue is that Russia wants to pretend it still has the same political, economic and military power the USSR did and they're not even a shadow of that.

Really, Russia needs to come to terms with the fact that they're not the USSR and instead of dick waving they ought to work on their economy for 20 years and then they can try again when everyone is weaker.

>tomahawk

INF explicitly does not cover naval weapons.

Billy died a year ago.

This, the whole point of silos is that their location is known.

>This is the War to End All Wars! We'll never have to worry about something this horrible again.

China can't win a war against just the USA even with Russian help. Add in US allies and defeat is guaranteed. Also China would not benefit from a conflict with the US and the EU as their economy is dependent on both, same with Russia.
China is simply doing a land grab until the USA says stop.

We have a no first use policy.

one could call it...
Missobedience

India is the one nuclear power most likely to do it to themselves.

they don't stop US/NATO ships and planes that are there on freedom of navigation exercises, the war wont start until they do.

I really miss the Gipper and that adorable vatnik with the stain on his head. At least they had charisma.

>Elephants for heavy lifting
You can't make this shit up.

>Implying the Russians also followed that treaty
