Well boys I want a 9mm smg style gun and I can’t decide. I’m leaning towards the vector because I have a fuckton of glock mags and could 10MM swap it later. If I went with the Evo I could outfit it right off the bat-but I’m not huge on the look. I also digg b&t but I haven’t gotten to hold one yet. What do y’all recommend?

I was leaning towards an MP5 myself, but wound up getting an MPX. Kind of pricy at $1500 street price, but it's got a few advantages: 3 different barrel and muzzle shroud lengths to choose from (4.5", 8", 16"). Can support 9mm, .40 S&W, and .357 SIG just by swapping barrels. Has picatinny butt plate for any kind of stock you like, including a retractable one like the MP5. Uses an AR style bolt carrier group but has the springs in the top, so no buffer tube. Completely ambidextrous controls. Either way, I love mine. It's more fun to shoot than the MP5 I tested and way more configurable. I'll be getting mine SBR shortly.

If you want an MP5 for the looks, then get an MP5. They're great, reliable, guns with a huge aftermarket parts selection. I highly recommend Brethren Armaments, Dakota Tactical, and Atlantic Firearms if you're leaning U.S. made, or Zenith if you're leaning for original HK machine tooling foreign built versions.
I just prefer how modular the MPX is. You can literally change the gun from a 16" .40 S&W carbine to a 4.5" 9x19mm submachinegun in under a minute. You can add or remove a stock in about the same time.
