what light and what can should I get further down the road? between being in the process of moving (finally saved up to buy some land and a house) taking care of my wife, 10 month old son and another baby thats due in about 7 months, I havent had much money to buy more guns and upgrade the rifles I have, once the dust has settle im getting an SR-15 and a LMT LM8 MWS.

The lower doesn't matter nearly as much as the upper, correct? That was my reasoning for getting a bargain bin lower assembly and a gucci-tier upper, because the BCG and the barrel are the things that do all the heavy lifting if I'm correct. (also because I don't really want to drop more than 1500 bucks on an AR-15)

Surefire scout is the way to go, industry standard. Having good IR light is to have for when you get NOD. Expensive, but it won’t break.
Streamlight rifle lights are subpar.
Cloud defense OWL is good.
Get a surefire, (((Q))) or AAC can.
