Best M1911A1 copy

Which company makes the best M1911A1 copy? I hear Auto Ordinances is pretty good, and in expensive too.

Ruger SR1911

Kimber
Remington
Norinco

Currently raising money for a 10mm 1911, haven’t decided on what company. Any recommendations?

No one vouching for the sig?

Rock Islands are good if you want a cheaper one. I have a Remington R1 and I love it. I've shot a Sig 1911 before and it felt great too.

>unironically advocating Kimber

AO 1911s are pretty fukken awesome. It's a series 80-type, though, but I still think the trigger is just fine. Just needs to smooth out a bit the first few hundred rounds.

The original M1911 and A1 had a 6 lb trigger pull. It's not crappy manufacturing.

I think OP wants a 1911 the looks like the A1, not just a 1911.

Dan Wesson RZ-10
Colt Delta Elite
Rock Island Armory
Springfield TRP

Those are the top ones under $2,000, I would say.

Enjoy the hammer rust welding to the slide

>Kimber
>Remington
>Norinco

You should have left your response to just Kimber. By adding Norinco and Remington, your troll is super obvious.

How's the nu-Iver Johnson stuff?

Colt series 70.

Absolute garbage. I bought one. It has major feeding problems. The case rim gets stuck in front of the extractor. I showed it to a local gunsmith. He said it was the worst he's seen in 40 years of work on 1911s.

Did they replace that shit?
