Can you feel it?

If anyone who has handled a lever gun, how much better does this look to operate? This gun has been a dream to own, mainly due to it being the only rifle I have that has an actually soft buttpad, and I just made it that much better

/rereads three times

Are you high?

I am very sleep deprived

Try re writing your OP more coherently. I've no idea what you're trying to say.

To the point that I have actually been seeing shit

I feel like that would cause blisters or something

It's not rough, it's really sort of a soft suede

And the curve of it raises it on contact points and acts like a cushion

It should probably be a single sheet of leather laced with that strip. I don't think that will hold up very long...

choot it

looks completely pointless

Confirmed for one of two things:
>never having used a lever-action for any length of time
>faggot tough guy who pretends his hands never get tired or hurt

Looks cool, OP. So do and

you have, at most, 13 rounds
your loading thumb gets destroyed way before your lever knuckles

Yeah nah, I have a BLR and Glenfield and it's not even remotely an issue. My thumb hurts from loading the mag/tube before my hand even starts to hurt. Sand a little on your internal contact surfaces or wear them down with use and oil appropriately.

I've actually put 60 rounds through it, its .45-70, it's not too hard to load

those guys must have some stiff-ass nasty levers
maybe 45 is easier to load than 38

Only thing I really should have to do to make it all smoother is to polish action, its a bit gritty but that's due to it being literally new I believe

And its withheld around 20 cycles so far, i got it pretty tight

maybe the locking system in the 95 is a piece of shit that made the platform worse in every way except the ability to shoot a more annoying, less useful cartridge

The thrill of using $1.50 everytime you pull the trigger counters that

shooting 45-70 is one of the few times that rolling your own is a good idea

just like lever actions

this

lever actions are the greatest form of manual action firearm, which have utility and adaptability enough to differentiate them from semi-autos for hunting and target shooting

>capability to fire .45-70 gov rapidly
>completely useless

Tactitards gtfo my thread

Just because it's over 100 years old doesnt mean it's not capable of turning someones torso into ground beef

if you need to turn somebody into ground beef, the gun you have with you is better than the gun you don't so pistols win
in the case of an actual firefight you want an intermediate caliber semi-auto with box magazines because fire superiority wins

>had to sell my grandfather's 1957 Marlin 39a to help bail my mother out of her horrible financial decisions
>know it went to a good man who wanted to teach his young teenaged son to shoot but still miss it constantly
>hope that she's being treated right, stored in a warm and dry safe with plenty of oil
I need another levergun in my life. Kept the original firing pin (because gramps broke that shit decades ago) but there was nothing like murdering cans with that fucking thing. Love your leverguns, anons. Hold them tight and never let go.

quick quick post your guns user

>inb4 3 m&p-15s mall ninjad out with the m&p logo colored over in sharpie

It currently rests as my home defense gun, even if it ends up launching a chunk of human flesh into my neighbors living room

>inb4 nothing because you have to be an adult to own firearms and people who are of majority age and employed don't go around on imageboards talking shit because they're angry inside

Whomst tf is you and are you as sleep deprived as I am

Fuckin white knight over here

>in case of a firefight
...oh word, you served in combat? Bad news dog, hajji doesn't live here. I would rather use the PCC hanging by my bed to protect my home than the ruger nestled into my cock right now because I'm not trying to destroy the last bit of my hearing to save my TV from Jamal.
You're never going to get into a "Firefight" defending your home at 3 AM. Basketball americans will run out the door, jumping in place while they dump shells at the front side of your house before they get back in the car and fuck off to roll a swisher at their boy's house. Following them outside and returning fire will get you assraped by a jury. If somebody breaks into your house, you get your family to a safe area and hunker down while your wife calls the cops. You shouldn't go creeping down the stairs in a load bearing vest with your sig unless you want to get ventilated by some nacos with a sawed off auto 5 and two raven .25s.

I'm a hospital corpsman jacked up on phenibut and gas station pizza going from thread to thread reminding teenagers that nobody fucking cares what their unfinished brains want to say

There is also the firing itself of a .45-70, mines a guide gun so the barrel is shorter and it spits out fireballs, paired with the concussion and the impact of a slow moving heavy ass projectile will do anyone in, god help whoever doesnt stop from the first shot

for killing animals and paper a lever gun is great and I have one for exactly those purposes with plans for more, but for people who might shoot back you want something more dedicated to that purpose
it's almost like you live in a place with more than three rooms
I feel you but have you considered that a lot of other fags are in our exact same situation and shitposting with us?
those are bad reasons
get an AK

better to fire it from a safe place than dazzle and deafen yourself creeping into the living room in the dark to see 3 well fed victims of society seeking reparations. Everybody wants to pretend they're john wick and go room clearing in their house. It's not the smartest way to keep yourself from getting merc'd.

I'm fucking 20 and not some keyboard warrior who thinks everyone is a prepubescent boy and says dumb shit to fill his ego, gtfo this thread it's for rootin tootin cowboy shootin op and company

if you have time to go room clearing you have time to put some hearing protection on

Tis what I'm sayin, from a stationary position a blast would be a major shock factor

A store near me has a really nice pre ban ak if you want to dish out 1200 for a donation

if you have time to put earpro on, you have time to grab a weapon that allows you three points of contact instead of 2. Unless you sleep with earpro right beside your sidearm in the nightstand, which sounds like a viable option if you're hellbent on using a pistol.

>I'm fucking 20
yeah, cool user. Post your guns.

I'm op

bruh I'm not about to start shit with the fucking devil. just take what you want and also did you wrap the cheekweld

I have plans to go better than home made with the cheekweld, both this and my mauser are going to get the fancy dancy treatment they deserve

what do you have that on? I find I don't need anything like that on my uberti 1873

what do you mean? something like pic related?

Attached: rs=w 600,h 600.jpg (600x376, 49K)

Yes, as well as a wrap for the handgaurd

It's just some suede string on my marlin 1895g

good deal.

Blast a commie with style

>1895
wow, it's almost like Lewis Hepburn's action is a pain in the ass to use
the price you pay for strength of action, I guess

Based JoJo reference

Fuck it im gonna keep this thread alive a bit longer, heres a opossum eating cheeseballs

nigga it's been ten minutes since the last post how fast do you think Jow Forums is

>never having used a lever-action for any length of time
are you trying to fucking lay down suppressing fire with it or something?

Suppressive fire with a .45-70 is just attempting vaporization of your adversaries

In practice it's just keeping their head down more because its .45-70

Rip the poor fella who would get struck in the head
