Jow Forums Dad appreciation

The last one I did went over pretty well and we got some interesting stories. Was your father the one that got you into shooting? What guns does your dad own that define him or his generation? DID he leave you any cool collectables? Is/was he a fudd? For example my dad's gun choices are fuddlite but he is super into bushcraft which is arguably more Jow Forums than any Gucci AR.

I figured this would be a nice break from all the "pajeet btfo'd" threads

My dad was a liberal pussy who didn’t know shit about anything useful at all and taught me nothing of value. He walked out on my mother and and my 4 year old brother when I was 10 and my mother was pregnant with her third child.
Fuck him and fuck niggers

Agreed

My dad is literally a walking boomer meme. Hes in his 60s with the boomer bod. He wears those really short cargo shorts, semi-high white socks, classic white nike tennis shoes, shades, and a veteran hat. He also has the mustache and is very fudd in general.

My dad never owned guns, but he did encourage me to become a boy scout, where I first got to shoot .22s and shotguns at age 12, 11 years later I own 2 pistols and a rifle. He also offered numerous times to take my brother and I out to his friend's place in the country to go shooting and hunting, kinda wish I had taken him up on it.

My dad was huge into hunting and was very insistent on me being into shooting including competition shooting from a very young age. Between what he bought me to use as a kid and what he sent with me as a starter pack when I moved out I pretty well had the bases covered.

He isn't exactly a fudd but he was behind the times. When I started getting into NFA shit he basically went "holy shit we can do that?" and also got into it, and now has a transferable MG and 3 cans.

you traumatized

Shot with my dad a couple times when young. We basically have no relationship now.

My dad starting buying and building AR's as soon as I joined the army so we'd have something in common to share together. He rarely shoots them since I moved out. Pretty much just once at year at Easter. Shows me that he really did just do it to get closer to me.

You make it sound like he passed away. Sorry to hear that, if so.

I posted in the last thread, which I also thought was great, but I'll repost. My dad was born the very last year of the boomer generation and did have some of their tendencies up until the Obama era.

He probably suffers from a bit of fudd tribal knowledge, but he'll buy anything from Kel-Tec to Henry. We align pretty well politically, though he's more about the muslims and I'm about the jews. Other than that, he's been a great guy to hang around and I'm he raised me.

>I'm he raised me
glad*

I'm sorry my Jow Forums brother. He will get what he deserves.

:') good stuff my guys.

I have some ancedotal green texts from my dad's time in army artillery during the cold war if anyone want to hear them

My dad didn't get me into guns. I grew up in a house that didn't have any. He didn't oppose guns at all, but he was just never really into them. When I turned 21 I bought a shotgun and that eventually lead to me getting him into owning firearms. He has like 6 now. Not a fudd in the slightest.

Post 'em user.

Please post pics we gotta see

Grew up with break action shotguns and single shot .22s. He always thought that modern guns looked ugly. Bought me a 10/22 when I was 10 or 11 one Christmas so that was cool.

On the flip side after I shot an AK at a buddy's house I asked him if we could get one, and he no shit asked me "What do you want that for? You gonna shoot up a school?". I said "Thanks for thinking I'm a murderer Dad." Fucker walked out and left my mom with a shit ton of debt when I graduated high school. I don't talk to him anymore. Bought an Arsenal 107FR in college so fuck you buddy.

I inadvertently radicalized my otherwise centrist Boomer dad and now I fear he's on more lists than me.

Attached: 1548826334170.png (500x363, 140K)

My father used to beat me and my mother every day until he eventually killed her then himself.

>Be Sgt. Kelly
>Gotta make sure everything is clean for inspection
>This one retard is under your supervision
>This guy wants out and will somehow fuck up any job you give him
>Sgt. Kelly gets all his underlings to whip the place into tip top shape
>Place Pivate fuckup on bathroom guard duty to make sure no one shits it up after it's been cleaned
>Inspection comes through. Colonel is there.
>"Everything looks really good SGT. Kelly"
>Get to last stall in bathroom
>"What is that" and they point at a stain on rim of toilet
>Sgt Kelly calls over Pvt. fuckup the bathroom guard
>"What is that"
> Fuckup Sticks his hand onto stain and then licks it off his finger while staring directly at Colonel.
>"It's shit sir"
Dude got a section 8 the next day

My dad is a bleeding heart grabber, I was into guns from an early age and he did not approve.

It was peanut butter he'd strategically placed. The guy told my dad the next day.

Dad was a helicopter test pilot and engineer. He worked on designing and testing the T800 turboshaft engine. He was a madman until my mom made him quit because he spent most of his time away from home and in the middle east (Israel and Egypt). He started his own design firm and still works there today with some notable contracts.

His time in the middle east made him dislike some firearms. He hates the m1911 with a passion to this day because he had to carry it around all the time. He always had an AR and some Fudd guns laying around, but he only ever shot a. 22.
After I got my first ar I got him into shooting again. He now wants to build aks and fals.
Still hates handguns but I'm slowly convincing him to buy one after he liked my mak.

My old man is great. He's a Fudd who loves and appreciates contemporary weapons as well. He has guns for every scenario, his Remington. 270 for deer, his Mossberg semi auto 12 guage for turkey, 10/22 for pests, .22 pistol for plinking, Norinco SKS and AK for LARPing, a Colt .38 special snubby for my mom and sister, a Czechoslovakian Tokarev for god knows what reason, some obscure Romanian 16 guage double barrel for god knows what reason, and last but not least, his signature gun, a S&W model 29 8 3/8" barrel chambered in .44 mag, which is also presumably for LARPing.

Nah, he's still alive and well at 65. We've always had a good relationship and are doing more and more camping and outdoors stuff each summer.

My dad is badass and too Jow Forums for Jow Forums. He has an absolutely massive fun collection. Not a fudd in the slightest. He has rifles and shotguns of all kinds, but mostly collects and shoots handguns. He has everything from Colt snake guns, tacticool Glocks, to bizarre Czech .22 target pistols. Taught me how to safely handle guns from the earliest age. When I turned 12 he pulled me out of school and took me to an air base where he was teaching a firearms course (he wasn't military, but led firearms training for a variety of federal agencies) and I spent the whole day shooting machine guns with him. Among them an M60, M249, M16A2, suppressed Sten, Type 56, M2 carbine, and a Glock 18. He helped me buy my first guns a couple years later (I had been saving my money earned from doing yardwork for years in anticipation): a 10/22 and a 6" Security Six. I'm 30 now and I still hang out with him regularly. He recently gave me an old Colt upper he found in his garage for my A2 clone. I've sent him screen caps from Jow Forums before, including one of the clearing log. I love my dad and he can kick your dad's ass.

Absolutely based

Dad got me into shooting, my first time was a Rock River AR-15

He has about 27 guns, I cant remember what all of them are, but my dad is cool as fuck and the reason I got into guns

my dad is a weird hybrid of boomer and gen z, they guy has his boomer-isms while simultaneously looking like he was really into early 90s rock. anyway guy has owned the following over his life: more than 1 .22, rfb closed bolt mac 10, smith model 1006, spas 12, .40 glock (used to carry), a couple of rusty shotguns and sported stuff from my grandpa and more recently a scorpion evo

Same, I turned my silent, mild-mannered dad into a gun-stocking race realist after building him an AR and telling him about internet news sources.

A worthy thread

Thanks for getting me into Slav shit dad!

>Dad was A-10 pilot
>not into guns at all
>thinks it's weird that I am super into guns
>'You need the right tool for the mission at hand, and for daily life I do not think a gun is the right tool'
My suspicion is that since he took a flying GAU-8 to two wars, all small arms seem like child's playthings to him. When I asked him if that was the case he remained silent, but I saw a smile in his eyes.

max?

And yet, you love him all the more for it, don't you?

my dad was a pimp and a drug dealer and he carried an older ppk with a lot of mags.

one night my dad told me and my mom to get the kids and run to grandma and grandpas house frantically.

I recall my dad staying at home and hearing gun shots and screaming and I remember me and my sister being carried away and crying for our dad.

I haven't seen my dad since and I don't know where he is or what happened to him. He didn't get me into guns though or anything like that. I believe he used a different firearm for that time because I inherited his PPK and ended up selling it to move out of california to utah with my wife.

Dad is nogunz, has never shot in his life, and is from what as far as I can tell is a long line of nogunz. However he was the first person who explained to me (grew up in commiefornia) that "assault weapons" is a meaningless term and that gun control is stupid. So I always believed in gun rights but never really had much interest in them myself, until through an odd series of circumstances I ended up taking a week-long class taught by a competitive sharpshooter and an airborne ranger. Was hooked instantly.

My old man was never really into guns (was more of a car man and engineer) but he knew I liked guns and shooting from Boy Scouts and got my Uncle to give me a pretty nice single shot .22 when I was in 7th grade for Christmas. He also didn't give a fuck when my grandpa gave me a fuckton of Fudd guns when I was 15. He's always liked the 1911 and Garand so I think we're going to get a garand from the CMP.

>Dad was in the 101st Airborne, did shady shit in Panama in the 90's
>Went from the Army to selling medical supplies.
>got bored
>Joined the border patrol
>Now he's a PMC and makes 200K a year, doing nothing but sitting in humvees and drilling to hone his operatorness.

On top of that...sad feels incoming...

>Dad in Border Patrol, gets in terrible car crash in his patrol vehicle
>Laid up on the couch for days, barely moving
>Left his gun on the coffee table, and finally, got up and went to his bed
>5 y/o me finds the gun
>I'm about to pick up a loaded Beretta and play with it when I sense a presence.
>"Whatcha doin, bud?"
>"Dad..I...I..."
>"It's ok son, if you ever want to see my guns, all you need to do is ask. Here, I need help cleaning it."
>Dad finally came out of his painkiller induced half-coma, and in terrible pain decided to teach me about guns instead of screaming at me
>Bloody fucking banfages all over him, he couldn't even pick the gun up.
>He got it unloaded and instructed me on how to take it apart.
>5 y/o me could barely do it, but we managed to get it together

Best bonding experience, ever.

Grew up in a really liberal state, but got into guns around the time I turned 18 and bought one pretty soon after. Dad was always supportive but he doesn't own any guns yet. He's been talking about picking up a handgun though. He pushed me into Scouts and that might have been the best thing I've ever done. I love my dad.

My grandpa flew a UH-1E for the Marine Corps in Vietnam. He has Alzheimer's now and is sometimes withdrawn, but last time I saw him we started talking about guns (he used to do a lot of hunting as his brother owned a lodge in Montana) and that seemed to draw his interest, he told me about all the different rifles and shotguns he had, then I showed him my M1A and he talked about training with the M14. But the thing that really lit him up was talking about the miniguns and rockets on the UH-1E, evacing wounded Marines, lighting up entire hillsides of VC, and getting shot through the leg while flying. Apparently they spent hours trying to find the bullet since it exited the leg and might have gone into the control panels, but eventually he noticed a dark lump in his hand near his thumb, which had been positioned on the controls over his leg when he was shot. I read his war diaries once and apparently they found over 200 dead VC in the area he and a couple other pilots were strafing the day he was shot.

my dad liked fishing and sports, but didnt give a shit about guns. he used to go to his grandpas farm and hunt but thats about it.

i like guns because of video games and mail call on the history channel (back when it was good). my dad is a pussy whipped jackass, but god damnit i love him and forgive him for raising me like a coward.

My dad was fairly interested in guns. He was more into basic hunting rifles and shotguns for bird hunting and shooting wild dogs. Just reliable guns and a few old rifles that he inherited from his father.
My dad unfortunatly passed away when I was just starting to get taught to use guns. My dad gave me a bb gun and said “learn the basics with this and we’ll step you up when you show youre ready”
I got pretty good with the ol’ bb gun but my dad didnt live to teach me more.
Couple years and a large estate dispute later, my dads possessions and inheritence cash are being distributed.
My oldest brother got his house and moved a bunch of stuff he didnt want in the garage.
“Hey user, if you want any of whats left of dads old stuff come and get it now or Im donating it to goodwill”
Go over to look and its mostly old chairs, and boxes of cds and stuff.
See a large green metal cabinet with the key in the lock
“Oh shit!”
My dads whole gun collection is just sitting in the garage.
For various reasons my brothers dont care about guns or cant have them, so I get the whole set.
My gun collection quadropled that day and it feels nice to have something that not only was my fathers but my grandfathers as well.

What really got to me though, was when I brought them home and was taking the rifles out of the safe to clean them and there was a ruger 10/22, still in its original box, looked like it was never used.
Its probably just speculation, Ill never really know for sure, but I think my dad bought that to give to me, but he didnt get the chance to.
I cried like a bitch when I realized that.

I've posted this before, but fuck it.

Let me tell you the tale of my earliest memory. Can't have been much more than 3 years old when this happened

>be me, tiny little ausfag
>live inna bush, onna sheep farm
>dad is best dad
>very hands-on
>puts me on the cargo rack of his motorbike and takes me around with him whenever he can
>his ECD is a Remington 600 Mohawk in .243
>no idea what it is
>just a funny stick that daddy carries
>out one day making sure the sheep are eating and fucking like they're supposed to
>ride past natural dam behind our house
>dam is lousy with yellow belly carp
>whole school of them milling around at the surface
>eating? fighting? fucking?
>who knows what fish do
>dad stops bike and gets off
>slips rifle off his shoulder
>"watch this boy"
>PEW
>lets one go, right into the middle of the mass of fish
>giant carp with it's tail, and half it's body missing, explodes from the water and sails in a lazy arc before splashing back into the dam
>MFW that boom
>MFW that smell of burnt powder
>MFW that giant, shit-eating grin on dad's face
>MFW

I was reading that expecting this part to be a lot worse. What other kinds of guns did he leave for you?

>mfw

I'll add on to my post here . I don't have any particularly funny Jow Forums-related stories with my dad, but he always had the video camera out that took -full size- VHS tapes and he recorded me opening a Remington 870 20ga for Christmas when I was 9. I don't really remember it, but watching the video was funny. I don't think I had really been introduced to guns yet and so I was a bit scared of it. I'm sure my dad was behind the camera with a huge grin on his face especially because my mom's grandparents were there and they don't like guns.

My dad is a boomer-fudd in the best possible way. He owns a bunch of guns, has above-gun-community-average knowledge on them and pretty good taste, too.
When I began showing interest in guns and hunting, he quickly picked up on it and we basically shot .22s every day after school.
After becoming proficient with the .22 he moved me on to a .222 Remington and after getting that down helped me shoot my first few deer with that gun.
At the age of 15 he got me a Swedish Mauser M96 after I convinced him that milsurp guns actually had pretty much bang per buck.
I think he understands the whole LARPing thing pretty well, too, since he bought a Marlin .45-70 to scratch the cowboy itch and a .44 Magnum after seeing Dirty Harry.
I greatly appreciate this because he also buys some guns just because he likes the way they look/are made/shoot and not just to serve another purpose.
In recent years he's been a lot more open to non-fudd firearms buying both a semi automatic rifle and -shotgun as well as accepting the AR-15 as just another semi automatic after actually shooting one.
Other than that he taught me the art of solving problems in a no-nonsense way and made me see the value of honest work. In some ways I guess he raised a boomer.
At the moment I'm just trying to figure out a way to move out of the overcrowded shithole that is Germany. Czech Republic or the Northern Midwest seem very tempting.

>t.his dad

>Was your father the one that got you into shooting?
Yes.
>Took my brother and I out shooting a fair bit when we were kiddos.
>Dove hunting and range trips were one of the things he did with my mom's dad to bond, so it's a bit of a family tradition.
>Taught us where the guns were in the house and how to load and shoot them
>told us we had his full permission and encouragement to use them to kill anyone breaking in, but if we ever even touched them without good reason we'd be severely punished
>My mom also spent a fair bit of time at the range and was her dad's assistant at reloading as a young girl, so they're both pretty pro-gun.

>What guns does your dad own that define him or his generation?
Pair of 20-gauge shotguns (Remington 1100 and a pump-action I don't know the model of)

>DID he leave you any cool collectables?
He's still alive thankfully, so not really. I got a few old milsurp ammo cases, boots, and fatigues.

>Is/was he a fudd?
No. He's got a polymer pistol now and wholely approves of my little brother and I's milsurp stuff, including my brother's AR. Is glad that I CC and just took the class himself.

One of the first father-son projects we did together was build a rifle. He cleared the land behind our house to build a range, but we were forced out of our town and into a city for financial reasons before we could ever use it. Now we're both trapped, 3000 miles from home, while some jackass destroys our land. Living in the woods your whole life then moving into a city has a powerful effect. He's started losing hair, grown slower, more miserable. I hate seeing him like this, although I suppose the only thing worse than seeing your father grow old would be not being able to see him grow old.

Yeah dad got me into guns, he’s a retired LEO who’s gone full on SHALL and is appalled at the way policing has gone. I remember he had all sorts of cool shit even during the AWB (I started shooting at like 7 so in like 2002.) he used to not take me seriously when it came to gun opinions but now that I’ve moved out and have a good job we talk a few times a week on the phone about guns and what’s cool and what ideas we have and we go shooting together whenever I’m free cause I work a lot. As for what guns he has I literally can’t name them all, massive pistol collection. He’s the kind of guy who buys the 9mm the 9mm subcompact the 380 and the 45 variant of shit. Just got himself a Mp5k not long ago and a Mcx and a few more pistols. Easily over 130 firearms.

Took me out of 6th grade class one day to go shooting with my uncle in Pennsylvania (Jew York resident). Got to shoot a bunch of stuff, but my favorite was a Martini-Henry in .577. I had bragging rights for years after that. Trying to decide on where we want to build "the compound" after he retires.

My dad's a hardcore cowboy larper. He use to have a .44 magnum and a special glove for fanning it. He loved practicing the cowboy arts. Got me a .22 Henry levergun the year I was born and waited to give it to me until I was proficient with a BB gun. We never shot it much bc his dog was scared of noise. One time I got a shitty knock off transformer for my birthday from someone and we went out and blew it up with his double barrel. I should call him.

my dad used to be an avid black powder competitor and got me into guns.

>Wants to teach me how to shoot
>Empty a few ammo boxes of ammo with a 10/22
>"Ok son, that's enough of that, time to shoot a real gun"
>Comes back with his 45-90 Shiloh Sharps
>Many young shoulders were rattled that day

We come full circle a few years ago when I converted him into milsurp.

He took me shooting every year on thanksgiving, maybe one other time each year. That was it as far as shooting went. But he had lots of guns and let me play with them sometimes. More of a paranoid prepper than a gun guy. He made sure we were always afraid, because when you stop being scared all the time is when the government will come to kill your parents and send you to a concentration camp for being a Christian. We had to go to the basement when helicopters flew over, so they couldn't see us homeschooling and use that as an excuse to send the army to murder us all, even though everyone in the army was a hero ready to die to protect us.

I'm guessing you're a huge disappointment to him.

My old man is ex-US army, but he doesn't talk much about what he did, other than that he was stationed at Rammstein from '82-'84, and that he's shot M16A1's and A2's, he preferred the A1, because the range officers at Rammstein let his platoon go full rock-n-roll.

He's also shot a few hunting rifles, which he doesn't remember which exact ones, except for one of them being a Kar98, when he and my grandpa were missionaries in Bolivia back in the '70s. He used to own a Colt SP-1, until my mom made him sell it back in 1998 to help pay for a new car, other than that, he's noguns, but he goes on hunting trips with his church pals every now and then. He's supportive of me buying whatever I want, including guns, as long as I'm smart with my money and don't go into debt.
Also, I kid you not, he looks just like what you'd imagine Jimmy Neutron's dad to look like IRL/

Attached: hugh's blue eyes white dragon.jpg (680x313, 45K)

My dad got me into the outdoors really young. I can't recall the first time I went fishing. He had me shooting the family .22 at 6. Took me hunting that young as well. My dad bought me my first knife, a buck 112. He also bought me a Mossberg 500 when I was 12.

Fuck i love my dad.

I owned four guns before I got my dad's collection, and now I have 16 guns all together.
All kinds, Single shot shotguns, pump-actions, bolt action rifles, a couple .22s,
and two enfields in particular that I think were my grandfathers. Unfortunately they are sporterized, but I plan to restore them to their true glory.

F E E L S

Thinks sig is the absolute pinnacle of firearms design
His favorite gun is his beretta a400 with that ugly matte blue finish on the receiver
Was pretty happy when he opened up the AR I built him for Chris
He had a polytech legend in college but traded it for a ruger redhawk
Taught me how to shoot in the poconos when I was a small child

>bought a .44 after seeing Dirty Harry
My dad did this too

My dad served in Korea. He didn't do much there other than some mechanical stuff. He would tell me all about military vehicles he saw or worked on and bought me books full of diagrams of military gear. He showed me how to use knives and BB guns but my over-protective mom wouldn't let me use his actual guns. Even though we don't talk to each other anymore I'm sure he would heavily approve of my Jow Forums related hobbies

pic not related but I wish it was

My parents are libs and don't like guns. My dad has my grandpa's guns but they're just stashed away collecting dust. They'd be shocked if they knew I owned guns, especially with how many I have. They're helping me pay for college though so I don't tell them.
I had to "sneak out" with my friends to the desert to go shooting while I was in high school.

My father is completely pro gun but has never actually owned one. He never took my shooting as a kid but always talked about how he thinks people should be able to own whatever guns they want. He now lives in a very gun friendly state but doesn’t have a gun because my step mother is afraid of my father and my step brother living in the same house together with a gun because they both have short tempers. He keeps saying he will get a gun when my step brother moves out. Although he is a law abiding guy who never exceeds the speed limit, he doesn’t want a gun that can be traced to him in any way. His stance is that if you need to use a gun there should be no way to trace that you ever owned one so you can toss it and deny ever owning one.

My dad actually tried to keep me away from firearms and hunting for the majority of my life, despite him owning several guns of his own. I remember asking on several occasions to go shooting or hunting as a young lad, but he would always come up with an excuse not to take me, mostly because he'd prefer to spend his time playing his fantasy sports games every weekend. I resent him pretty badly because of that, and our relationship isn't bad, but could absolutely be better.

>Dad was a Lt. Sheriff for a county.
>one of the only good ones
>carried a Smith and Wesson model 66
>then carried a west German P226
>half fudd half 80s-90s cop arsenal
>sks in tapco stock
>model 39 was the first gun I ever shot
>he single handedly got me into shooting, hunting, and guns in general
>he just got a 365 and a shitload of mags
>started to get my mom into guns
>she loves her S&W EZ
Greatest man I’ve ever known.

>very fudd

So, he’s in favor of “commonsense” gun regulations? Thinks scary black rifles should be banned? Ok with 10 round mag limits? Thinks a boltgun, a revolver, and a shotgun are all you should have?

God I wish I had a Dad who wasn't a paranoid liberal asshole. Even talking about firearms sets him off. I had to keep my first rifle hidden in the house and was bever able to take it shooting until I moved out. Im not on the best terms with my family anymore, but thats fine by me. As long as I don't have to deal with their bullshit

Your post made me tear up, you shit.

My father was a total ass-hole. I had to teach myself nearly everything I needed to know about manhood

My dad isn't a gun guy, but he appreciates that it makes me happy. On my 18th birthday he bought me my first real rifle, a scoped nugget that he overpaid for at cabelas. I will always treasure that gun, even though I don't shoot it as much anymore.

My dad enabled me getting into shooting and is the reason I’m in the military (damn him). He’s a gulf war vet that got back into the reserves a few years back and I grew up on his stories. I got him into ccw and taught him how to shoot in a more practical sense. He had a pretty decent flinch before I figured out what was wrong with his groups. He carries some kind of s&w m&p single stack compact 9. I told him to get whatever felt the best to him and he came home with that. He shoots it well and carries it everywhere.
I saved up for months to buy my first gun, an SMLE for like $260, and when he took me out to get it he ended up paying for it and had me spend all my cash on ammo. I bought a bunch of cheap as paki surplus. I was 15. Then he took me to the range the next day. He’s always been very encouraging. He’s been around the block a few times. I’ve seen him at his worst and his best. He’s never been anything but loving to me and my brother through all of it. Honestly my Dad is my hero even if he isn’t perfect and I hope I get a whole lot more time with him. He’s in his early 50s now.

Building fals is awesome. I have too many because I like building them more than shooting them and I like shooting them a lot.

Where to start? My father was big into target shooting with large caliber revolvers but he sold them all off when our family fell apart. The divorce was a mixed blessing as it resulted in me being moved from commiefornia to montana at a very young age.
My mother was actually the one that bought me and my bro a couple of Marksman 1010 air pistols and a powermaster 760 when i was 5. Had to have big bro help cock that pistol for about a year before i could do it reliably on my own.
Naturally, living in montana with target shooting with airguns as a primary hobby led to target shooting with firearms.

>get super into guns, build up a modest collection
>think it'll help bring me and dad closer
>he's still content taking his 30-fudd out once a year to zero it

USA gonna make money man.
We sell to both sides all the time.

I love my dad.Grew up in Benson AZ served in the military for 8 years. Likes to go shooting. But when it comes to shooting. He drives me crazy, I am all about grouping but he just likes to mag dump into a target. Every time Rambo is on we have to watch even though he has seen it more than a hundred times. He is a wonderful guy, would give you the shirt off his back, but he is just not very patient. It made doing work with him very annoying.

If you want to move to NH hit me up. I’m down to be the second generation of my family to liberate Germans.

Do you look like jimmy neutron then?

My dad had a bunch of guns, he would sell them off for money periodically for fucking nothing, because he had no idea how much they were worth... so I started buying them from him when he needed money, bought most all of them, but being a nice guy I just left them at his house, now I'm like 90% sure my brother has stolen a few of them

My grandpa was the first one to get me a BB gun, then dad bought me break-action .410 when I was like 10 because it was literally the cheapest gun available at the time, still appreciate it though

Bump for Jow Forums dads

>I’m down to be the second generation of my family to liberate Germans
I think the Germans can take responsibility for their own liberation for once.

My father was a dickless loser who raped my mother when they broke up and made me in the process because my mother was a Christian woman who didnt believe in abortions. Low and behold he then met my step dad a few years later who raised me as one of his own. He was never really a big gun guy but his family was military, his older brother was and still is a merc somewhere in south America and he will occasionally send him gear and Skype with him. He did however tell me stories of hunting Bobcats with a 22LR when he was a kid and got really excited when I joined the army and became a machine gunner, also is very interested when I spoke to him about my time in sniper school and what i learned over there. We never really bonded much when i was a kid, he talked to my older brother more but now that I'm an adult he loves hanging out with me. Not much of a /k guy but he was very /out , /fit and /o his love for machinery tools and engines resonated with me and now as an adult I have the same hobbies as him. Hes mentioned he wants me to take him to the range one day when we have time and I slowly wanna convince him or buy him a gun for xmas this year. He wants me to teach my sister to shoot and wants to go hunting with me one day since he is very into archery but hasnt done it since he was a young adult. I love this man, he is everything I strive to be when I'm older and I'm more than happy to call him my dad and not stepdad.

>A father is the one that raises you, not the one that fucks your mother and leaves.

Yeah right.

My dad's an anti-gunner from Australia.
The only good thing Jow Forums he did for me was moving to America before I was born.

This is beautiful, I hope you become a good father like him

based and redpilled

Dad's a redpilled drummer from the Bible belt. Stole all my mom's money and still resents me for not playing sports. He wasn't there for a lot of my life and I still don't know much about him. He liked when I started getting into guns though, probably because he knew that was about the manliest activity I was going to do. He drove about six hours to buy me the exact Mossberg 500 I wanted a couple Christmases ago. I have no idea where I stand with him.

Have tried talking to him, you know, man-to-man

A few times. I'm not sure if he's just awkward, doesn't like me, or if I'm not trying hard enough.
