They're cheap and shitty.

Imagine a lower quality Ruger LCP.

only personal experience was with a gen 2 safetyless model. firing pin broke in half after exactly 60 rnds. and the magazines were/are out of spec thus too short in cartridge OAL preventing the use of some ammo/feeding issues. the warrenty was good; only took about a week or ten days both ways, but a broken firing pin so soon was enough for me to sell it after repair. oh, and it couldnt hit the broad side of a barn if you were standing in it.

I sell an overwhelming amount of these.

Honestly, they're meh. I'd put it on point with something like a Taurus G2C. Not really something I would carry, but if you're looking for a cheap throwaway gun or a gun to leave in your vehicle or something I would consider it.

Personally I would just try to find a LEO trade in Glock or something for a little bit more.

t. gun counter guy

I bought one for a car gun. They have a warranty that they will replace if stolen. It didn't want to feed some Fiocchi ammo loaded with XTP's when I first bought it. Switched to Remington HP's and 300 rounds later no problems.

Actually shit. Buy a hipoint instead, or safe up for a cheapo ruger if you want something less brick like.

What the fuck? Are they really that bad. Shit, I was planning to get one. What’s a good cheap 9mm CC pistol that isn’t complete shit and has 10+1 magazine capacity? I was thinking about getting a Beretta Nano but it’s only 6+1.

Bump

G2C is pretty good, They cameout with the G2S recently

Friend had one. Would jam and stovepipe constantly. Thought he was just being a bitch because he a bitch but after he handed it off to a nonbitch similar results were had. Shit gun.

It's cheap. Came with rust on the inner frame (no it wasn't some weird lube)

And of all the 9mm pistols I've ever shot, this one takes the cake for straight up uncomfortable. Some way the recoil travels through the grip into the hand just left an aching sensation. And no I'm not a limpwristing faggot I've shot plenty of 9, 10 45 357 44 Mag. This one legit felt shitty, not fun to shoot at all.

The machining was decent. That's all the pistol has going for them. And an excellent marketing deployment (lots of colors to choose from to ooh and ahh the fuck out of people. Myself among them).
Other than that it's horrid.

DO NOT BUY ONE

just please trust me on this. I bought one and it was the worst gun I have ever experienced, with so many issues I can't even list. I returned it to the gun store and made them give me a refund.

Own a CPX-2. Its cheap.
However, with a good cleaning, light pollishing of key spots and disassembling mags and thoroughly cleaning and lubing. ..... Its at 1k rounds now. 1000/1000 , absolutley no issues, firing the spectrum of 9mm ammo.

Recoil is mild, its reliably accurate considering its size. I personally have no idea what all the bad reviews are about. The only neg is the heavy long trigger pull and full out reset.... but after a couple hunred rounds you acclimate to it.

Cheap enough to find out yourself, and worst case you got a nightstand/glovebox/kitchen drawer gun.

No, they're not. Fags are fagging in this thread.

Am a poorfag who was gifted one, its not all that bad. Only complaint I have with it is the absolute dogshit trigger.

My poorfag brother got the most recent generation, came with a case and like 7 fuckin mags (they’re a bitch to load). He likes it though and it’s better than having no gun, he hasn’t had any problems with it yet and we go to the range all the time. Pic unrelated, it’s my Glock 26

You know what's a dirt cheap gun with an excellent reputation is Bersa (these are like Argentine copies of Walthers). You need to be suspicious of anything cheaper than a Bersa.

doesn't look all bad. take one for the team and tell us what you think.

Hold one in your hand. Get a feel for it. I did, and I'm never gonna spend money on one. Maybe you like it better than i do.

This isn't 1995 Gramps. Even Taurus has figured out how to make a polymer double-stack 9mm that works.

Just get the Taurus. Both of them are bottom of the barrel but at least the G2 uses decent magazines and has a single action trigger. Don't get me wrong the trigger is still retardedly long, but at least it's 95% slack rather than grit and stacking. I shot one and felt like I was going to break the fucking thing with how bad the trigger flexed. G2C with an beavertail grip sleeve (for a longer length of pull) and some VERY light stoning/polishing on the sear handles surprisingly nice.

If this is your first/only carry gun you shouldn't buy something this cheap either way though. Get a basic bitch Glock for some peace of mind, trust me.

I don't think OP wants a .380 Acp, Bersa makes 9mms but they are in the 400-500 range and are pretty good guns.

Do Bersas come in 9mm, because I’m interested if so?

Cant remember if its these or the diamond backs that do not have a slide lock. The metals and finish are bargin brand , so you get what you pay for. The one the has the slide lock is slightly better than the other

T. former florida man here. I like SCCY for trying to be another hi-point. Their first couple of attempts at the gun were rough to say the least. The gun will work 100% good with some ammo, and 0% ultra bad with others, which is a massive knock against it.

In the hand its nothing special, even in it's current iteration. What it brings is being small, and a warranty, and autistic colors.

If you need a pocket pistol, there are other guns out there, but hey, if you want to try a gun thats fully made in the USA, go for it.
