DEFCON's on 4, let's hope it won't go down to 3

I'm just fucking scared right now, what's happing down there in Pakistan and India is totally out of control, and I'm sure both of them are going to start bringing in the superpowers to help them in some way or another. And Pakistan are fucking religious fanatics who won't go down without a nuke or two, and since they're now pretty much fucked, it can happen soon. And I don't want to rot and burn in nuclear hellfire, and I have no chance of surviving since I live in western europe (France). What should I do?

DEFCON 4 is nothing. It was last at 3 during 9/11 so even that is minor. Be worried if it reaches 2, last time that happened was Cuban Missile Crisis.

I know it's not an official source, and that the true index is held by the military, but from what I gathered they base their (the site) index on what's currently happening around the world, and they don't seem to be biased cunts advancing political agendas like the guy at the Doomsday Clock are. If there's enough shit happening around the world right now that's it's worth a DEFCON 4 instead of 5, then there's something wrong, official or not y'know.

In a theoretical war between India and Pakistan, who would the USA side with? It seems like the USA has closer ties with Pakistan, but I also have a hard time imagining that Trump or any other recent president for that matter would want to actually send troops against India.

Definitely India. Pakistan has very close ties with China and Russia.
But I honestly think the idea of two nuclear capable countries going to war over a border conflict has everyone kinda at a loss.

China has stated multiple times it will only ever use nukes defensively. Pakistan is a lukewarm ally to them, and there is nothing important at stake for them to use nukes. They can only risk everyone getting mad at them for very little gain if they use nukes.
Russia has no stake in the region.
France has no stake in the region.
UK has no stake in the region.
US nominally backs Pakistan over India, but realistically has no stake in the region.
Absolutely nobody gives a shit about the conflict excepts pakis and pajeets.

This, we haven't even started giving formal warning to people who reside in india or Pakistan the embassy are to remain open to calm people and no provisions have been made for anything major happening any time soon.
