if open carrying handguns is legal in my area, do you think cops would give me shit for open carrying a braced m92 ?
>Using a brace
>OC is an /arg/ tripnigger
What's the value of a converted saiga .223 with an alg trigger, surplus wood stock set, and 4 smoky 30rnd circle 10 mags?
Fully converted with a new gas block and a bayonet lug fsp or half ass converted?
I will give you 12 dollars for those mags
And it depends on who did the conversion and how well. Should be able to cop at least 1k if it's good, maybe more if you can really sell that >muh rossiya angle to someone, more if you went full 101
>user
>implying
>no trip
>not obnoxious enough to be recognized without it
Dude you're doing it wrong
That was an impressive amount of shit flinging last thread. Let’s see if we can top it.
Anyone here ever have their build cerakoted, and if so, thoughts on it?
They might try but from a legal perspective you're OCing a handgun so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Here
I'm well aware of how stupidly priced they are thanks to boomer scalpers.
>>OC is an /arg/ tripnigger
*honorary /arg/ tripnigger
>Literally who poster posting new to /akg/ rifles trying to defend Orange Cock
$13
>tfw only got 4 blacks before kvar sold out cause of scalpers
Also yea that's not the best conversion. Someone would def buy it but more likely as a project than a done gun and that'll lower the price
Thanks for the info, but could you tell me specifically what you're looking at to determine that from what you could see in the picture? I'm not very knowledgable about conversions, other than the very basics, and knowing the rifle is worth a lot more now than when i got it.
Big giveaway is the bolt-on handguard retainer.
pretty shit conversion.
>gas block is missing lug
>front sight post is Bulgarian not russian
>Bulgarian muzzle brake
>missing front sight drum?
>bolt on hand guard retainer
>trigger guard is drop in with internal rivet rather than one piece with he mag release
>old pivot holes are riveted rather than welded
hey at least it has the smooth cover even if it's the wrong kind.
>cuck gb and wrong fsb
>bolt on handguard retainer
>no receiver dimple/russian wasr
>poorly covered up trigger pin holes
>trigger guard looks screwed in
>receiver corner looks damaged near rear trunnion but might be lighting
>bho device not removed
>finish is garbo
Just without seeing the internals
95% of the people who would be lining up to buy it would be fixing a lot of these and wouldn't wanna spend much more than an unconverted since most things still need to be fixed anyways, and you got the less desirable receiver
I wouldn't try it since cops are tyrannical imbeciles who don't understand law enough to know your "not an SBR" is actually a pistol.
So what are the issues with the new PSAK's? Something with the rear trunnions getting fucked where the recoil spring guide attaches?
Korean 20 round mags
Good to go or naw?
Never buy korean mags
AK noob here. As practical as ARs are, I'm tired of how boring they are.
I want a pretty basic stamped AKM for cheap but decent AR price ($700-$800). I'm thinking of a barreled receiver Romanian kit from Atlantic because it will both be cheap and I can make it how I want as far as furniture and whatnot, plus I dig the railed receiver and the fact that it's milsurp. Any quality concerns? Should I just wait for more battle pickups to become available somewhere (still kick myself for not getting one when they were cheap ages ago)? Other options?
>pic fucking related
Hey now by all accounts North Korean mags are supposed to be pretty good.
Atlantic kit builds are generally decent.
HOWEVER
A WASR10 is literally an all-Romanian AKM made in an Eastern European military arsenal on ComBloc tooling.
IMO buying Romy kits is dumb while factory Romy rifles are available.
Nice rifle
I just discovered some other websites selling parts kits because they're super appealing to me. Like I said I like the milsurp aspect too, as a milsurp collector. I'll keep a brand spanking new WASR in mind though. Are canted sights and so forth still an issue?
Arms of America has some ridiculously cheap Romanian parts kits, headspaced with new barrels and ready to go, simply needing a receiver, and Childers seems like the way to go for AK receivers from what I can tell? I also need to find more info on building an AK because from what I know it isn't as legos-tier as an AR.
The welds are weak, but they're fine if you get them for cheap.
That's a pistol actually. I know you're not that smart but you should really try to stay on top of this stuff.
Oh is that a brace? I couldn't tell
watch BFG movies videos on ak builds. use a childers receiver.
Why DOES the existence of the BraceLet trigger the NFAg so hard?
The level of rustled jimmies the last few threads is fucking ridiculous.
How is that Bosnian coffin mag?
I'm willing to pay 200 bucks for my ak to not look like shit
>
All tripfags must hang
*all tripfags are hung
>Basic brace and AK adapter is like $120
As opposed to
>$200 to file Form 1
>Wait up to 14 months if you get unlucky
>Another ~$100 on the low end for a new trunnion and stock, quite a bit more if you want something that actually looks cool
>Whatever the smith charges to do the rear trunnion and receiver work, at least a few hundred and a few months for any of the competent AK builders in the States or
>Several hundred in tooling plus the skills needed to weld receiver holes shut and correctly rivet in a new trunnion
Then you have the multitude of legal restrictions on an SBR, surmountable though they may be.
You're being disingenuous by implying an SBR only costs $200.
The glorious thing about cops nowadays is they can cuff you for pretty much anything and it's your onus to prove yourself innocent, on your own dollar of course. Then at the end of it, you get to go "haha!" while being nominally less wealthy. So if you feel like going through that hassle, do it.
Innocent until proven guilty went out the window long ago. Now its "innocent until a police officer has an arbitrary hunch, then you're real fuckin guilty."
>i'd rather cheap out and get a lesser product than invest time and money for a bigger payoff
To be completely clear, most of the folding brace options out there now like a USmachinegun adapter or Stinger47 and Tailhook brace are pretty expensive and in the latter's case requires drilling into the rear trunnion (coincidentally the exact same modification required to install most modular ACE, CNCWarrior, or Circle10 2-hole stocks) and cost a few hundred dollars.
Obviously the cost and effort to SBR an AK pistol as opposed to putting a brace on it isn't the main motivation in that case.
Amazing how his only retorts are based on money or tax stamps
>haha poorfag stay mad
>not complying
>t. no stamps
Hey OC for those of us who don't care about your personal crusade to bully poorfags can you please put your fucking trip on so our filters will work.
Nobody wants to see your fucking animeposting, tripnigger.
>invest
Forking over dosh to Uncle Sam and being put on a federal registry for the privilege of a folding stock is hardly an "investment" there bud.
But HAHA POORFAGS AMIRITE!!!111!!
That's why I just leave my 104UR with a 16" barrel. I ain't following no damn cuck laws just to make it look a certain way.
Because lots need validation that they're $200 spent for essentially federal permission was $200 well spent
Idk seems like that at least, especially seeing how up-in-arms they get when someone has a brace set up for less than half what they paid.
>putting time and money into something to get a return isn't investing
Bracefags literally too inept for dictionaries
>Bosnian
Are you retarded or baiting?
What should i do with this 308 super bepis?
genuine question, would this transfer from an FFL as a "rifle" or a "receiver"?
primaryarms.com
>AC-Unity Manufacturing is a company located in Bosnia and Herzegovina
put a PSO on it
Get some CSSpecs 20 rd mags and a nice optic. Enjoy it.
What if I told you other stocks can go on, and easily?
Now you
It's a rifle with no furniture.
I traded a psop for a few just because I wanted to get rid of the that shit scope, I was really surprised that they all work flawlessly. I still don't believe it. you do have to load them differently, once you get about 10 rounds in, push the rounds down and then put the next 2 rounds in so that it's not fighting the spring tension. if you don't do that something happens and the rounds loose tensions and hake around in the mag body.
even if it was 500 I'd do it. I want it to be an ak105 not some ugly pistol abortion that looks like ass.
Edit some harder brush strokes and less fine lines and I'd hang that shit right up
24mm sight block, or adapter? I like the look the 74 brake on akms but never tried an adapter and font wanna go the tapco route.
>new trunnion and stock
Or you just get a SBR ready rifle and chop and crown the barrel with hand tools that you should already have if you're a red blooded American, holy shit
bracetards are incapable of coherent thought
Total cost is gonna be well over $500 if you're paying a competent smith to do it my man.
Also nice love handle jiggle, I like a little fat roll to grab onto
..why did I think they were Zastava made?
It's a rifle as the completed receiver is a firearm.
A blank/80% AK receiver however is not a firearm and is easy to complete
The gun was built from a kit and had the 5.5mm trunnion installed from the start retard
I know a guy who knows an firefighter that'll add a rear trunnion (under the table) for only $20. Don't take the first offer; compare, compare, compare. Ask people if they know anybody, then compare those prices too. There's always someone willing to do good work for cheap, it just takes searching.
>legal restrictions
such as taking it out of state, and...?
I feel like I know what I'm looking at, but I don't
>SBR ready rifle
Most of those that are worth a shit are already around a grand at the extreme low end, and most tend to be ~$1200-$1300
So that's
>$1500 to SBR an Arsenal 107cr (assuming you have to tools and skills)
or
>$750 to put an SOB47 brace on a Draco
Gee whiz I wonder why people pick the second option
>it's cheaper to get a lower quality product
Whomst've could've guessed this?
>implying a Draco and 107cr are even near the same level of quality
>or even the same fuckin variant
People still avidly chose to buy c29V2 over everything else. What's your point? Normies make poor decisions, this is not news nor has it ever been news.
Many states (including mine) specifically prohibit using NFA weapon as a CCW.
However it's perfectly legal to CC my braced M92. That and it was literally a $600 weapon with the brace. I'm not gonna be upset if I end up using it and it's in a police lockup for months.
>paying a gunsmith to do ak work
yikes
what are you trying ot get at here. yes it's cheaper to get a brace, but a stock looks better.
you're thinking of puf gun
m8 if I were you I'd be doing some serious self-reflection if I were mistaken for some animeposting furfag tripnigger.
Well I'm kinda confused as to what NFA weapon you would be able to CCW outside machinepistols and why that's a hurdle.
What makes you think I give the smallest ounce of a fuck what you think?
>SBS
>AOW
>SBR
Like their ability to be concealed is literally why they're NFA guns my man.
No I'm thinking of Zastava. Please put more words in my mouth, it's a great social habit
You're sure giving me a LOT of (You)s for someone who doesn't care about my opinion
Is this 4d bracefag cope?
Partially, a huge reason for founding the NFA was because most the original items were favored by multiple high profile gangs in all sorts of crime (mostly bank robberies) and the Government sought to try and restrict the access without outright removing the right, with court precedent to back this up
>n-no, u!
can you can't? take it to kik or something
>literally "lel xddddd u mad" tier posting
Yep, cope
im not who you've been talking to you self-absorbed jackass ive just been monitoring the thread but you two cant stop being gay for a second
Adapter. I’m really pleased with it. It really smooths out the recoil. Idk how good the Tapco ones are though since mine is an Arsenal brand.
>Arsenal 7.62x39 brake
>AK-Builder 14-1LH to 24x1.5mm thread adapter
Right, Same way you can "invest" in opening up a blockbuster franchise
Just because you're techinically "investing" doesnt make it a smart move.
>invest in gold
What's better, the CSSpecs steelies or the SGM polymer mags? I need some more mags for my .308 Vepr.
Sauce on catgirl?
CSS no doubt.
The real answer is that the NFA was originally a pistol ban and the SBS/SBR/AOW categories were to prevent people avoiding the pistol ban by shortening long arms.
>getting the gun you want is a bad idea
Imagine being such a bitter poorfag
Got a brand new 5.5mm Bulgarian triangle side folding stock. Asking $70 shipped for it.
Story on that rifle? Looks good. I've been seeing a mixture of different rivets when it comes to the rear trunnion on side folders. Some are round, some are flat. Wondering about that.
Is that a Troy?
What MLok rail is that? How do you like it? I've had poor luck with cerakote, but supposedly it was because of the poor prep by the guy.
>IMO buying Romy kits is dumb while factory Romy rifles are available.
Only if you don't trust the builder. If you find a builder who likely is putting more attention to detail into the gun than the factory worker, but your builder used the European parts, then that is going to be better than the factory cugir gun made for US civilians.
Get a kit, find a good builder.
Neat.
No, the fundamental cause of the NFA was because of prohibition.
Do they need to be tweaked at all before loading or is it just unbox and go? I seem to remember one brand of Vepr mags having issues.
