Wow, does an AR15 really require 30-40 hours of training to use effectively?

If it does the Military woefully under-trained me before handing me an M4. I got the NRA Basic rifle course but with all M16 references and an hour or 2 out on the range.

>effectively
more than that.

but the bint in your screencap said, "safely"
we can get you there in an afternoon.

anyway, why isn't this in one of the other threads with the same OP image?

Pretty sure it takes boots like 3 hours of training to learn.

> there is no reason for anyone to own this full auto weapon that is almost illegal for anyone to own already

Ok there bud.

The day I got one I went shooting and could hit a paint can at 175 yards standing and could keep all 30 in a 12in target at 25 yards in binary. I think it is more about not being scared of guns and knowing they wont hurt you unless you do something stupid.

To use safely? A few hours of hands on with decent instruction or common sense.

To use efficiently and effectively, i.e slick mag changes, stoppage drills etc? Dozens of hours and many rounds down range. Depends on how youre using it, for example drills need to be sharper for military use because chances are when youre changing a mag under fire youll also be in flap state 50 and pumping full of adrenaline.

No, but 30-40 hours of training doesn't seem too far off for effectively using full auto. Unfortunately, Bri Bri is a retarded tranny and thinks all AR-15s have fun switches.

I wish I lived in the reality liberals think we live in, where I could buy a fun switch AR-15 at a gun show for $500 without ID

>Taking off brand Nick Cage seriously
Found your problem.

Why are you giving this cretin the attention it desires?

The fuck? The AR platform shoots a literal varmint caliber, doesn't have a piston driving back increasing recoil, and has the biggest goddamn recoil buffer system of any weapon ever. It's the softest shooting rifle there is. How much estrogen is this freak on?

the bolt has a piston in it.

When will they start the grabbing? Answer is when y'all start voting for liberal Democrats. Come on guys embrace accelratiomsim 2020. Stop sucking off the cock of fox news talking points. Even Tucker supports accelerationism I can just tell. Any libretarian who just wishes they would needs to vote left. Pig cocksuckers and fags who like the status quo of hogg man and goblina making deals with republicans then keep that GOP registration and get errrrr done faggots just know you're killing America due to retardation and laziness

that was the most unamerican thing I read this week.

This is some advanced Bernie shilling

I find semi automatics extremely easy to control and have hardly any kick. I've taught my wife use of the semi autos and she got it right away. Lever actions and bolts are a whole different story. She doesn't understand them and the kick they have she hates.

This is literally the woman who wrote that shit. Look at her, you can't make this up.

If you can operate a BB gun you can operate any rifle. Food for fucking thought.

>woman
That's a man, baby.

That's literally and unironically a man.

It ma'am!

>effectively
Yes
>safely
No

The .30-40 requires 15 hours, so yeah.

Fuck off John.

>5.56

>Difficult to control

>woman

Brianna Wu. Some politician from Massachusetts.

>woman

But military shooting courses are like 95% how to not shoot yourself or your friends in the face, and 5% how to actually shoot.

>shoots full auto for first time
>hard to control
Apparently the high iq of chinks only applies to math and making cheap knockoffs of other people's shit

Firearms take an exceptional amount of time to use effectively, that's why people go to the range so often. You'll have gifted shooters but most people need practice.

To learn how to operate and know how to shoot in a direction is easy, but "effective" takes learning.

That being said, Wu is a fucking idiot and this is PTSD-from-firing tier meme worthy. Of course she wouldn't be used to firing in full auto, but if she had ever shot something more than a .22 in her life the recoil from semi automatic should not have phased her. You'll see a ton of these antigun types say obviously fake bullshit like "I grew up shooting guns but the ayyare-fitteen is different!"
