Pre FBI loads weren't nuclear, they were stout and meant for 200gr between 1100 and 1200 fps, not the shit everyone calls "real" 10mm. Normas 80s loads have been tested to be both over and under spec

Just get quickload. I load hot as shit .30-30 with a 175gr. Bullet thats way past saami.
