someone post some tank porn
I have a folder of Shermans and prototypes. Will dump if wanted.
Ask and ye shall receive.
How small could you go if the tanks where electric with internal ai or something operating in an ao with no friendlies.
The jewmade kikepatcha is gonna slow me down from dumping, but I'll keep it at it.
Uh, ask the Ruskies, aren't they working on something with that?
how about some Soviet stuff??
Got none sadly. I'm an autist an focus my interest in a single area sadly, basically anything American.
what the fuck is that
Your guess is as good as mine. If I remember the other picture with it was either a flame thrower sherman or something with a lot of M2s to be mounted there. Or not, really not to sure. AA Shermans make my dong diamonds though.
Captcha is shit tonight.
Then it doesn't post the picture. Jeez.

I believe that strange sherman is a "Canal Defence light" It's a highpowered spotlight designed for night usage to illuminate targets and blind the enemy, pictured is a Matilda CDL, see the same narrow slit?
Forgot the damn image
Holy shit, that is weird. God Shermans we're literal lego tanks. Slap different parts and do weird shit to them.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if it was built to be somewhat modular and easily expandable. A great example of what the allied wartime industry could pump out. Pictured is a late version Sherman being used in Korea where it had some success despite being a bit out of date.
Easy Eights. I think the modular design goes to the Czechs and then the Germans with the Panzer (38)t series, literally fulfilled the role of tank, TD, SPAA and everything else years before the Sherman. Love both though but the Sherman is just so strange with how many variants there are, or the M6.
Thank you for your dump sir. I think a lot of it was just experimenting and seeing what does and doesn't work. A lot of it didn't, but look at Hobarts Funnies, a lot of design elements in them are still used in modern combat engineering vehicles.
>Hobarts Funnies
Thanks for the tip senpai, appreciate it.
>. Love both though but the Sherman is just so strange with how many variants there are
the sherman was incredibly reliable, could carry more than 7 tons of extra weight or even more if you take the turret out, and had very well machined parts
it was also relatively future proofed with a turret ring as wide as the pershings and relatively spacious interiors
xzibit himself descended from the heavens to give this tank to us mortals for pimping
>Korea where it had some success despite being a bit out of date.
try all the success. The T34 kill count is highest with the m4
this is peak tank aesthetic bro
That and the fact that it was far more reliable than the M26 then comprising the majority of the Army's "First Rate" tank units going into the war.
Assuming you want the same capability as current MBTs, probably not that much smaller. Keep in mind that the vast majority of a tanks mass and volume are made up of things that aren't humans; armor, ammo, engine, etc...
Russian "AI" is a lab rat with a smart phone taped to its back. I wouldn't get too excited.
the fuck kind of a sherman is this?
a vehicle so classified, they never used it
>tracks, the most vulnerable part of tank, get wrecked
>tank is unusable
For Swedish conditions it was a cool design, but it's hardly flawless.
>Assuming you want the same capability as current MBTs, probably not that much smaller.
When it comes to a design like the Strv103 it could be made a bit lower, the crew is still sitting fairly upright in it.
If designing it from scratch to be remote operated or AI controlled it could be a decent advantage.
There was in fact attempts to turn the 103 into a remote controlled vehicle in the early 90s, however the technology was not seen as good enough at the time.
And conscripts are plentiful and cheap.
Excuse you, THIS was the pinnacle of tank design.
That's the very 1st prototype i believe. You can see the similarities with the m3 lee.
Imagine actually standing and watching those little fuckers creep by for hours and hours
Imagine sitting on a hilltop in korea woth 4-5 of these, magdumping into the hordes of chinamen coming across the valley below
>someone post some tank porn
Nyet comrade. Only Mighty Soviet tenk is peak.
