Nothing but $600 Glocks and $800 low end ARs for miles. Beat to shit mosins for $400, virtually no milsurp, $20 cheap shitty Chinese knives that dull when you look at them, cheap shitty Chinese garbage scopes, cheap shitty Chinese garbage holsters, cheap shitty garbage Chinese flashlights and cheap shitty Chinese stun guns going off every 5 min. Even the jerky was shitty.
Basically all the dealers brought the garbage they couldn't sell at their stores and jacked up the prices to try to pawn it off at the show.
Tried to by a Sub2000 that was listed for $359, offered $350 cash and was told no and to come back with $9. Told him to fuck himself.
I think if you go to them expecting it, it’s not so bad laughing at $10 CSGO karambit knives being sold to overweight men in leather trench coats.

>go to 250 table """""gun""""" show in super conservative rural midwest >3 tables of actual guns, 1 of which was a not-for-sale-display-purposes-only milsurp collection >PSA Freedom ARs for $1500, used gen3 Glocks for $850, a Colt Python in okay shape in a beat to shit presentation case for an Anaconda for $24,000, 20rd boxes of PMC X-Tac for $14.99 >200 tables of chinkshit knives and nylon holsters >20 tables of exotic jerkies all over $50/lb >15 tables of "concealed carry" purses you could smuggle a walrus in, and belly bands for the XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXL crowd >remainder are chinkshit stun guns or offbrand pepper sprays Not counting what people might have been CCing in there, there were less than 30 guns present and only 10 of which were for sale. I successfully argued for a refund for my admission.

Are gunshows as wild as the media make them out to be? I've never been to one but it sounds dangerous.
Isaac Gonzalez
There are 2 things dangerous in a gunshow: >the state of the bathrooms at any point after opening to the public >the fat old people on their mobility scooters will absolutely BTFO your toes
Cameron Bailey
It was my first show in 4-5 years I thought that 'maybe' they'd have gotten a little better, but the only the got was more Glocks
Lol no just a bunch of fat old men bullshitting about the good old days, a few 20 something men buying their girls their first gun, mall ninjas adding to their collection and more fat old men dressed as wannabe operators in "tactical" kilts with a bunch of chains and shit hanging off.

>Was told to come back with 9 dollars Savage

Gun shows actually suck. Not sure why you expected otherwise, user.
Kayden Edwards
Some idiot cut his hand open on one of the knives and left a nice trail of blood to the bathroom before the medics got there to fix him.
Zachary Davis
That's strange, the gun shows in my area are usually pretty damn good. Sucks to live where you live, OP
Jace King
Before boomers took over, gun shows were fucking awesome.
Jaxson Thompson
Did we go to the same gunshow today? Because that's basically the same experience I had
Aiden Reed
>chinesium fleamarket-tier knives >some idiot cut his hand open 1. He must have been really trying, been my experience those things are duller than a warm stick of butter 2. Hope they gave him a tetanus shot

By good, do you mean you can still find suckers to buy your stupidly overpriced crap and people still come up to make offers on your guns that are there for "show" only? Either that or you really like random meat jerky. Wait, do you sell the random meat jerky?
Joshua Martin
Never seen a gun show be able to even come close to online prices + FFL fees
Chase Campbell
I dont see the allure of a gun show. first off you lose any bargain money paying for admission and all the real deals are on line anyway. This whole flea market business plan is old and defunct. so me old jew sells space in a rented auditorium to a bunch of dickhead people who put tables of over price shit for sale to dummys who think the sellers are stupid and they are the smart ones and will get the deal of a life time.......theres one born every minute
How are they wild? At our gun show the only thing special is that you can open carry in a state that completely bans the practice.. all of the guns have to be unloaded and temporarily disabled which is the policy of the owners of the place.
Kevin Wright
>ywn walk past the Rhodesian merc recruiter table on your way to buy Vietnam bringbacks.
Ethan Diaz
I didn't get to go to the local show today, but I figure it was the same show different month. All they have there is overpriced glocks and expensive old rifles, with the occasional good deal here and there
Sebastian Thomas
Don't you diss a good kilt. Nae all lads wearin em are scunners, ye ken?
Elijah Green
I went to the Oaks gun show in PA last month. It was essentially as you described, though the elk jerky was good. I wound up running into a good deal on a very nice condition Mauser handgun, but the guy wasn’t taking credit and I had no cash at the time. There were a couple other decent deals on guns, but I instead wound up buying two gargantuan ammo cans, each full of 1000 rounds of either remanned .40 or 5.56. Good way to stock up on ammo desu. Next time, I’ll probably grab body armor, a gas mask, and a Kabar.
TL;DR - It was a fun experience for an entry level gun guy.
Jeremiah Smith
Friend got some AK shit, saw a few bubba’d mausers, a Pinoy AK abortion and I got a few pants.
Left my pants in friend’s car. Long story.
Kayden Wood
Oh and the gun show was a fuddfest. Somewhere in the midwest
Oh and I did see some guy’s RPD, M60 and FN MAG
Nathan Lewis
>with the occasional good deal here and there
What is this magic??
Robert Lopez
Got me a USP for $750 pretty good day

>Are gunshows as wild as the media make them out No , everything there is boring and overpriced. 99% of purchases come with a background check. The media lies about everything.
