nope I own one, my fav gun hands down. I paid $800 for mine but I'd pay $1400 no problem. Mine shoots under 1 moa, smooth recoil impulse, easily available csspecs mags, feels like an AK but hits like a battle rifle.

Only downside to the gun is you have to take a dremel to the welded thread protector. From there you can mount a muzzle brake.

I will say finding a good scope mount is hard.

$1400, wow. i sold a 23" vepr on gb a few months ago for $800. it was barely used and came with all the factory stuff.

I got one in 30.06, its a bute, you can get steel mags of high cap sizes. Mine dont like taking the last round but 19 of 30.06 is still fucking sweet.
Mine took bout 100ish rounds before ot like soft points btw. Bit of a break in

Rugged, reliable gun with great irons, very low recoil for .308, no need for regular cleaning outside of the bore, and potential for high accuracy with a few inexpensive tweaks.
