Shiggy diggy
I don't even have to epilepsy and I think that just gave me a seizure.
I’d go with this affordable little beauty
Thank you schizo-user!
That's kinda gay looking user
Zip22
until your hand gets blown off from a squib round
...
Isnt that like 8 grand and it shoots obscure expensive ammo?
reverse image search you fucking melon
7.5FK. 95gr bullet at 2000 fps, seems pretty absurd
Not even top aesthetic.
space gun, mile long sight radius, mediocre trigger.
How good is the maxim 9? Considering getting one
Really like mine. 38 feels like a bb gun and .357 feels like a .22
Tey again Niggger
Or just convert a 10mm to 9x25 Dillon and shoot these underwoodammo.com
That's a sick looking vector
Ignoring what said because hes obviously never shot one. Its pretty good. I dont like the sights that much but otherwhise a pretty fun toy.
It's certainly at the top of the list of cool guns that actually work.
I'm more of a meatball fan
>yet another episode of the 9x25D apologist trying to mislead people about his preferred meme calibers abilities
user-kun, that seems a little under 2000fps to me. Did you forget the last 32 times we had this conversation?
I just missed you, and we'll if I knew who to call you I wouldn't have to say Beetlejuice so much
Show me the 357sig one again please
That's-a why we call it the Chiappa, because it chop-a you fingers right off.
No it’s hideous.
Beetlejuice is fine by me.
I assume you mean for the 90gr? its a shame they don't load the 65gr bullet in 9x25D, the extra 50fps gain it would see would really take it to the next level.
Thanks do you happen to have the 357sig in 65gr? Also if you wanted a concealable pistol for soft armor Penetration would the FiveSeven be the only viable choice seeing that the 9x25 is under performing? How about hand loading the 65gr Lehigh into 9x25 in the glock 40?
>every rhino thread
how romantic
I nominate the Boberg. it's a mechanically fascinating, virtually clean slate design, beautifully executed in small numbers for a short time. I'm lucky enough to have a platinum finish longslide with a 2 digit serial
>Thanks do you happen to have the 357sig in 65gr?
Attached.
> if you wanted a concealable pistol for soft armor Penetration would the FiveSeven be the only viable choice seeing that the 9x25 is under performing?
No, i would honestly probably go with a mid sized .357 sig loaded with FSM TUI bullets or 65gr XDs. Both rounds do marginally well to surprisingly well against soft armor with hotter 9mm loads out of an appropriate barrel length. I doubt anything short of a special threat vest would stop stout loads of the .357 sig versions, which will stop just about any light and fast handgun round up to and including 10mm liberty civil defence IIRC. Between the two it seems that the FSM bullet is the better performer in 9mm but given just how much faster the 65gr XD is in .357S than 9mm i'd give serious consideration to testing them yourself if you want to be sure. OTOH between the two i imagine the XD is almost certainly the better soft tissue performer. Although i will admit to being a bit personally biased against 5.7mm, i just don't see much of a reason for it given how many "totally not AP" rounds are on the market in what i'd consider better general purpose calibers currently.
>How about hand loading the 65gr Lehigh into 9x25 in the glock 40?
It's probably safely doable, but im no reloader and i've been surprised before with the other lehigh loads. For example i contacted underwood in regards to whether they had any plans of loading the .38 spc 100gr bullet in .357 magnum and apparently it was a no go due to OAL concerns. I have heard from other people on this board that underwood plans to release a 65gr 9x25 load, but i've been hearing that for over a year without anything materializing so im not sure how much stock i put in that rumor anymore. ATM i don't think the performance gain over .357S would likely be worth the hassle unless you're very confident in your reloading skills.
Knowing now that even though 9x25 Dillon isn't worth the gain over 357sig, would it be stupid to ditch the 29 for a 357sig or should I just save my shekels for 9x25 Dillon dies and some 65gr bullets? I mean I already have the gun I should probably roll with the meme and push it to its limits. Right?
I guess what I'm trying to ask is between comparable glock barrel lengths will the higher pressure ceiling of 357sig award me more performance over the increased case capacity of 9x25 Dillon?
Hmm, at the end of the day that's just going to be a personal choice. Personally, i value being able to go to the local store and pick up ammo when i want to quite a bit, although i certainly tend to order the vast majority of what i shoot off the internet. While it might be considered a little fuddish in this day and age i also consider carrying hand loaded ammo to be a personal no go for self defense work if im worried about looking proper in front of the courts after the fact. Let alone hand loaded meme ammo. They WILL NOT allow you to submit your own handloads as evidence if a matter like gunpowder stippling on the shootee should come up. I also find that mid sized firearms like the G32 are about my goldilocks zone for concealability and shootability, particularly with a spicier round like hot .357 sig or 9x25D. At the end of the day the lower capacity for size(and larger size of anything other than a g29), necessity of handloading SD ammo, and inability to easily source purchased ammo would, for me personally, make further investing in 9x25D throwing good money after bad. G29s and conversion stuff are fairly sellable, afterall. Whether that's the right choice for you is a different matter, and were this a project of simple personal interest instead of an actual tool you might use for self defense i might have a different answer myself.
In general from what i've seen they're neck and neck with typical handgun length barrels(often within 50fps, within lot to lot variation), but presumably with an SBR or rifle length barrel and proper powder selection(slower burning) the 9x25 would pull ahead.
See I don't care about ammo availability that's what other guns are for and the courts opinion is of no concern either. The paramount variable is its ability to defeat soft armor. I think I'm going to push 9x25 to the wall. I'll get a chrono with my dies and post nice data when I do.
>I think I'm going to push 9x25 to the wall. I'll get a chrono with my dies and post nice data when I do.
Good, it's a damn shame how little there is out there and frankly im a little suspicious as to how close to the limit current boutique offerings really are. They seem lighter than they should be at a gander.
My end goal is a DI 16" AR in 9x25 which accepts glock mags and I'll get a glock 40 so I can have my cowboy setup where my pistol and rifle use the same stuff
See one IRL... You will see the horizontal seam, you will wonder why they are selling this gun for nearly $1k with that going right through it.
God I wish these weren't so expensive
Pls where to get meatball. Will show bob and vagene pls
