Definitely gonna want to brace it, but not a bad choice if you're familiar with shotguns and know what you're getting into in terms of manual of arms and recoil. If you don't then something autoloading in a lighter caliber might be a better choice tbqh.

Oh, and just as an FYI. With low recoil loads the 12g version will likely recoil slightly less than the 20, but cheapo range ammo will likely be more punishing in it.

I have something similar (SG751 and SG553RP) and they are the smoothest rifles I have EVER cycled. definitely get one.

The sights alone make the A3 worth it and I honestly just wish the Vertec G was still around. They brought it back around the same time but i think A3 production ramped up enough that dropping the vertec made more sense

I would tell you to get it, BUT the Ruger LCR in .327 is really good if you can handle the DAO trigger pull.

the single action trigger is fantastic and shooting 38s through it has less recoil impulse than a 9mm from a full size rifle. I have a QD bipod I put on mine to bust clay pigeons at 100yds. By nature of being a revolver they are easy to load and Rhinos are surprisingly lightweight, making them excellent guns for women. I bring mine whenever I go to the range with my girl and she can run 38s all day without getting tired of it. Only negative is mine has the factory upgraded trigger that all the new ones have, it light strikes on hard primers like fiocci.

Shop around, they can be had comparable to other revolver prices.

It's mostly a range toy, but the key benefit is if you break a chinkshit VFG on the slide, you won't blow your hand off.

I've been thinking about doing this myself. I have access to a pretty nice drill press at work and the DIY kits have come a long ways. Assuming it's cheap enough not being able to repair it yourself is still offset by the savings. It's either going to be DIY or Black Aces Tactical Po' boy for my first suppressor, hopefully this year.

My friend has one and he routinely shoots coke cans at 100 yards from a shooting bench. They are probably the most reliable autoloading magnum available and there are more parts availability for these than any other gun. I really want a LAR Grizzly but the reality is that for the money the Desert Eagle is a better buy.

The old timers I know swear up and down that shooting black powder is more fun than any modern sporting rifle. I think it would be fun to use a Hawkins for deer hunting during muzzle loading season, just to have the experience of walking and stalking with a flintlock like my ancestors would have done.

I really want a .327 Federal revolver but I feel like I already have enough uncommon pistol cartridges as it is.

AUG is arguably the most practical of the three, MDR is neat now that they have fixed their issues, but if I were in your shoes budget-wise I would be tempted by the TP9. If you don't already have a pcc meme dream machine then get the TP9, otherwise get the AUG.

Do the chink models slam fire? That's a deal breaker for me on the modern Ithaca 37s. (yes I'm aware you can drop and older fire control in and slam fire, still it should be standard on the modern ones)

This was easily the most fun firearm purchase I've ever made. It makes half the people near it smile, and the other half flinch.
I try to fire a couple boxes out of it a month. It has yet to disappoint.

I always get so excited to shoot it that i end up shooting it first when I get to the range, and then it makes all my other guns feel weightless for about 20 minutes.

Something about bolt action rifles with detachable magazines and iron sights are so fucking cool to me.

Why not a slightly cheaper model of both? Like a Ruger Mk IV and a 10/22 both with threaded barrels? Don't get me wrong, Volquartsen are primo, especially as a suppressor platform, but if you don't have a .22lr rifle and pistol already your firearm collection is lacking.
