The point of Glock tho, which alot of people don't understand is You can do ALL your upgrades and maintenance with pretty much no tools except a punch/flathead. You really can't do that with any other guns that I'm aware of. Plus the aftermarket is king. But yah no gunsmith needed on Glocks, they're even simpler than ARs and just above Legos. Hell there are probably some Lego sets more complicated than breaking a Glock down all the way and reassembly

if you think Glocks are the easiest gun to break down / reassemble, you have not owned many guns

No they dont. The HK equivalent is the VP9 which has a janky gritty trigger compared to glocks and the 509 is gonna get abandoned in a couple years just like the FNS was once it fails to meet FN's expectations.

I didnt have a nylon punch so I dented and banged the fuck out of my rear sight until I wised up and used a wirenut as a makeshift nylon punch. Wouldn't work with tritium sights to say the least.

Was it simple tho? I'm looking at the schematic it looks a bit more detailed than a Glock. You could teach pretty much anyone to do a Glock. But this is still one of the main reasons they became so popular the past 10-15 years, especially for competition shooters who wanted a cheaper entry gun. Most of these other pistols came after and imitated the design.
