Most popular 9mm Revolver

Hey, I want to make a new purchase. A revolver in 9mm. Which good alternatives do I have? I am aware that the Ruger LCR shpuld fit thw job nicely.

Why the fuck?
>The point of carrying a revolver is for accessible magnum loads.
>The point of carrying a 9mm is capacity.
>Ruger LCR 9mm
>5 shots of 9mm
Why the fuck? Either get a subcompact 9, or a .357 wheelgun. This isn't a good middle ground between both, this is the worst of both worlds.

9mm snubbies make good BUG's because you can feed them from the mags of your primary.

9mm is very efficient out of short barrels. Small revolvers are GOAT pocket guns. Neck yourself.

LCR is currently the only choice for a pocket gun because S&W doesn't make a 9mm J frame. The SP101 and Charter Arms guns are too heavy for pocket carry and fuck Taurus.

Anything bigger carried on the belt is dumb because the G19 exists.

Not really. They use moon clips.

9mm Luger is rimless. No funs to load full moon clips for rimless unless you have little clip loader dohikey.

>want snub class gun
>in 9mm
seriously, stop

Top secret, don't tell anyone this. There is this revolver cartredge called .38 special. It's alot like 9mm, it's almost the same caliber. They also have one called 357 magnum. It's alot like 9mm +p+.

Might as well carry a G43 and reap the 2 extra rounds and quicker reload, or a .357 LCR and reap the improved ballistics

You do you. For me pockets are for revolvers. It's all a larp anyway. Unless you're a black criminal, or are paid to carry a gun, the chances of you being in a gunfight are less than your chances of getting struck by lightning.

Good point, and if you already have 9mm guns, then it isn't a bad choice for range use, besides having to load the moon clips.

You can do this but you'll only have one cylinder of ammunition. If you don't use a moon clip you have to punch your casings out of the cylinder with a pen.

The moon clips imo are the perfect loading system for a revolver, but if you want to use loose rounds not so much. They have to be stuck into the clips first. I think there's a gun that makes an exception to this since it has the clips built in, don't remember which one though.

I carry one sometimes for deep concealment because you can't even conceal a .380 without it printing unless you wear fat Walmartian cargo shorts. With a snub nose it'll still print but not look like what most people recognize as a gun. You can also keep a couple moon clips in a film container. Reloading with this particular revolver is almost as quick and easy as reloading a semi auto, so I'd take it over a cücked .380 any day. However, it's the same size as a Ruger LC9s. Admittedly the reason I went with it over that is the cool factor, but my primary carry gun is a compact semi auto so I wanted to mix it up a bit.

Pachmayr grips are shit. Why would you put them on a kimber. I got some rosewood ones for my P938 and the emblem literally fell off after 5 rounds.

They've stopped taking orders for them :(

I can't imagine they sold very many. I don't know how many units makes a release successful for them though.

On what planet do you live that a snub J frame prints? You could wear an airweight .357 with a hip clip in gym shorts.

BIG QUAD PLANET

NO MANLETS ALLOWED

I've been thinking about buying an extra model 19 cylinder and having it machined out to take 9mm and .380 like a poor man's medusa

Do you even wheelie boi?
Maybe settle for a semi rimmed cartrided before you get into clips. If you go for a rimmed cartrided and play around with loading it, you just have to worry about your ejector spring or if you bent the ejector rod, or cut yourself on it, or a million little technicalities. If you just want to shove bullets into your gun really quickly I trust a rimmed or semi rimmed round with lose spares in my pocket so much more than a moon clip. If it's moon clip or semi moon clip vs a strip or speed loader I'd honestly rate the moon clip lower. Strips are easiers to fit in pocketses. Lose rounds are even easier. If you got a moon clip it's going to take up the same space as a speed loader and most stores will make you special order those things off the internet and demand as much personal information as they possibly can. You really have to trust a business a lot, a seriously more than anything a lot to do that sort of thing, like you probably like them more than your pet kind of thing to tell them that sort of info.If you just want to shove rounds into a thing quickly rimmed and semi-rimmed were developed thinking it'd work better than not rimmed. If you can't shove a round into your gun without an adapter clip or semi clip. It's just getting into the point of crazy ranting about trying to load it quicker.

I fucking saw one at my local store today. You in CO Springs? It was a 3incher I believe.

Was at Specialty Sports.

>you can't even conceal a .380 without it printing

Oh yes you can.

Someone once make 9mm rimmed cartridges for revolvers. didnt last long.

That's not the only purpose of a revolver. I personally opted for a .38 SPL LCR as an ankle gun as a patrol officer over our options of Glock 42, 43, or 27. Reason being that I carry a patrol rifle so I already have two fighting guns, my Glock 22 and AR15. The LCR is for if I am getting my shit pushed in and need to make a contact shot for whatever reason, no need to worry about pushing the slide out of battery and having a dead gun with an autoloader.

>Korth/Nighthawk Sky
why didnt they make it in fucking 357 sig and 40 and put a price tag 2 times as expensive as a great SW j frame

hmm. I went with a 357 LCR using 38's - wanted the beefier cylinder just for extra safety.

still a massively bulky weapon compared to my 380 Seecamp.

They wanted to be different.

you dont happen to work for the Richardson, TX police dept by any chance would you?

Is that an LCP?

Its two Seecamp pistols.

The pistol on top is a .32. Under the mouse is a LWS 380.

both are the same size.

However, at time time the LWS 380 is in police custody..

Nope. My agency has since verbotten the use of backup guns too so now nothing rides on my ankle, RIP.

Thanks, user.
Gun's in custody and you're not, so I'm assuming there's one less bad guy out there. Nice work.

no.. not hardly. Some guy was beating up a girl outside my hotel room. long story short, I stopped it and the fucker threatened to call the cops.

45 minutes later a SWAT team arrives and machine guns are involved..

I get placed in hand cuffs and the Reid technique begins.. I play a happy drunk and comply nicely and never say a word..

I assume they have video of him beating her (but they didnt).. They let me go but becuase I played drunk so well ( I had been drinking though) they claim to talk my pistol for 'safe keeping'.

I got the call, late today, that I have been cleared to collect my pistol at the station. no telling how fucked up/scratched up it will be.

Result: They didnt have video of him hitter her, so he didnt get locked up.. So, sometimes the good guys lose.

9mm revolvers literally make no sense. They have garbage ballistics, are wildly innaccurate and do little over 38spl or 357 revolvers. You're going to be perpetually stuck to moonclips which are a pain in the dick purely because the bullets simply won't sit still without one.

>I stopped it

Found your mistske

Carry whatever you like dude. Forget these twats.

Attached: 1544040818861.png (711x590, 395K)

no.. my mistake was not hiding the evidence like I was going to do but didnt..

I've been down this road many times, and this was the first time I didnt take proper precautions.

It. wont. happen. again.

OP played RE2 and now he wants to dress up as an 18 year old girl an LARP. That's why he wants a shitty 9mm 5-shot

Next time you try to white knight remember that women are fucking worthless. That girl could have sucked up to her boyfriend and claimed that you were the one that attacked her and then threatened her boyfriend with a gun. It's happened countless times because women are fucking children that need a daddy and a meal ticket. So you could have ended up dying on an unbelievably retarded fucking hill

Don't forget to buy extra clips.

>because you can't even conceal a .380 without it printing
If you print with LCP in a pocket holster you need to purchase pants that are the right size and not a fit from 15 years ago.

I never really understood the want for one of these in 9mm.
38sp for women or .357 for men but i can't grasp why you would give up the capacity in a 9mm and have more snap then say a lc9s. Which has a better trigger, overall thiner with roughly the same length and height for easier carry, less snappy for a 9mm (not really a point for a CCW but definatly not as fun on the range) and for about the same price it seems kind of pointless. You do you but id reccomend a lc9s for a pocket carry

SP101 is fine. get more muscular pockets.

There was a czech company a few years ago making 9mms, too.

Just call the cops before pointing guns at people, dumbfucks.

Dang mister, who hurt you? Ye must be a really sad person or a zionist lizard psyomancer.

>Girl and her man little drunk, have argument
>Kommando thinks shes in trouble, brandishes and chases boyfriend away
>Kommando ego boost
>Bitch calls cops
>Cops rape commando

Do you understand the shitstorm?
Literally happens every day.
Do not brandish your gun. Do not trust bitches. Do not trust drunken bitches. Do not think you know the whole situation. Do not play hero. Do not trust women
