BCM, YHM, Aero, KAC, LMT, Spike's, hell even PSA makes lowers within spec. Lowers aren't dependable, they're just a piece of metal with holes and pockets. ARs are not traditional guns. They're a combination of parts from multiple places wrapped up to look like X brand. Get the stripped lower with the roll mark you like and then put it together with a lower parts kit. No it's not much more effort and you can actually come out ahead price wise.

Freefloat is attached at the barrel nut only and holds a front sight on it. Drop in is attached at the delta ring and the FSB and does not hold the front sight. Two points of attachment are going to less the chances of zero loss, not to mention the FSB not being dependent on it.
