"how shall we make our ranks look?" "shit nigga i don't know, just use barcodes or some shit"
"how shall we make our ranks look?" "shit nigga i don't know, just use barcodes or some shit"
That's hella tight
To be fair, white bars on blue backgrounds are easier to spot at distance than fucking ivory pips on MTP.
very true, similar to the two different sized crowns and trying to decipher how big it is rofl. t. ex royal navy
Seems pretty straight forward to me. Maybe the problem is in your head?
I work with RN guys quite a often and I have no idea what I'm looking at. Was once at a charity dinner just casually chatting with someone who later transpired to be a Master at Arms... I should probably pay attention to those "pecking order" posters eh... t. current army
What a shitty idea
Good look trying to decifer how many fucking bars are on the tank before you get chewed out for not addressing them properly
That barcode ranking system fits your ugly ass uniforms very well.
Better than cunts (read Lancs) wearing rank slides with red lettering embossed on an MTP slide that you cant read until youre 0.0002mm away. And its always at least a WO1 or above.
delete your other post mr gucci loafers?
Unironically use bullets

I guess it counts for something.
I DONT GIVE A FUCK SEND ME TO MARS I WANNA BUILD A GIANT FUCKIGN GREEN HOUSE FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Jow Forums should fix this mess and come up with a unified rank structure
Maybe lets just have a giant number, the higher the number the higher the rank. Easy to read, easy to tell who outranks you, no trouble.
I still don't get why all NATO members don't just use the same rank insignia. Every military using their own proprietary ones makes things horribly confusing.
>tfw the yanks are on base and salute you accidently
or you could take the Australian route
someone post the comic
Because of implications
It's essentially stating that a Brtish captain can command an Italian sergeant
Also, branches and militaries aren’t structured the same.
The US Army has rank restrictions on who can call for artillary, so I’ve heard. US Marines any rank can call for fire. In South Africa you’ll find a lot of 15 year, 50 year old private’s and pfcs. Not every military is set up the same way, even across NATO.
>putting ideological purity before streamlining your warfighting apparatus.
Shoulda copied the Americans if you wanted an effective redundant army Hans.
"Americans"
Shit taste desu
shieeeeet, that's what that rank means?
I saw a RAFffie on our base here in burgerland and had no idea what the fuck any of his shit meant.
Dude got like, three Charley's cheesesteaks and was eating them alone at the BX. Kinda felt bad for him...
