I'll start.
>m855 green tip ammo is armor piercing / good at anything.

>5.56 / 9mm is suitable for bear defense.

>.40 SW is a relevant caliber.

>you shouldn't get/like that gun because I don't like it

>Revolvers are completely useless for everything and are 100% obsolete
Mountain guns+CC snub revolvers that can't be pushed out of battery in a hand to hand fight if the user is jumped.
>Shotguns are obsolete and 100% useless and there is no reason to own one.
Bear defense with slugs, massive instant energy transfer for home defense, skeet, trap, good luck shooting at a bird in flight with a rifle (even if you did it would be massively unsafe).

fpbp

The ATF will get you if you publicly post your illegal select fire SBR on facebook.

Revolvers dont dont jam.

These are pretty good and lots of tards think they are true.

Where's the lie, show me an autoloading pistol that can kill a huge animal as well as a .500 sw magnum.

>5.56 / 9mm is suitable for bear defense

Big difference between those two rounds chief. I'm not saying that one round of 5.56 is going to take down Mr. Grizzly but I don't think they could flinch off a 30 round mag of it.

Yeah theres a big difference in energy, but neither round has enough penetration to reliably kill large bears.

Reliably no, but we're talking defense not hunting. If I unload a whole magazine from an AR-15 at a bear's head I like my odds.

>can't be pushed out of battery in a hand to hand fight if the user is jumped.
Neither can pistols with a light.

It's less likely, but it can.
It can also be obstructed from returning to battery after firing.
It can also get the ejection port obstructed.

I doubt you'll have time to unload a whole magazine. Bears are speedy runners. You'll be lucky to get off even one round before the bear knocks you to the ground.

5.56 is fantastic for bear defense provided you're shooting it out of a carbine or rifle. It shits all over .44 mag handguns in terms of ballistic effect and people have no problems recommending .44.

I fear for a world in which all bears are constantly within 30 feet.

>m855 is undoubtedly superior at barrier penetration like dry wall, brush, wood, sheet metal, etc.! It is def. not armor piercing past level 3 though!

but that gun sucks and the one i like is better

Show me a 556 round that can penetrate 60+ inches through FBI gel

M193 penetrates armor up to level 3

M855 will be defeated by almost any plate

If I unload a whole magazine from an AR-15 at a bear's head

Bears run at like 50 mph
