AZ is at risk in the distant future though, this last election cycle there were ads openly bashing CA playing on the TV and radio frequently and several CA copy cat-laws (non-firearm related) got voted out hard. If you push back enough legally you can slow their spread or even stop their shit laws from infecting your state for a time, preferably forever.

Some states clarify their own versions of the Bill of Rights (including right to bear arms), back before the SCOTUS specified that the Bill of Rights is binding and applies to the states as well after the Civil War. In my view outright banning or restricting commonly available firearms or their accessories is not only an infringement, but is also unconstitutional which is why I would like the SCOTUS to someday make a ruling on Commiefornia's gun laws and set the precedent once and for all.

On the plus side, this particular bill probably wont pass. A lot of moderate Democrats from outside of Salem/Portland/Eugene/Bend are deathly afraid of risking a red wave in their districts, which is so many gun control bills are DOA shortly after they are proposed. This bill isn't nearly as heavy-handed as some that have been proposed in the past few years, but the democrats arent stupid enough to risk losing their supermajority in Salem by turning old man Johnson out in Pendleton into a felon for failing to turn in the 30 round mag on his ranch rifle.

Don't get me wrong, I can definitely see a mag-ban coming down the pipe, but this particular bill probably isn't it. Still, remain vigilant and voice your displeasure to your representatives fellow Oregunners.
