Looks awesome, accidentally bought a repro thinking it was the real thing because I'm retarded. Wish the real ones didn't cost too much but I doubt I'd ever use it anyway so it's not a huge deal. If they dropped back down to $40-50 I'd get on it.

Chest rig is GOAT
Battle Jacket is solid and comfortable but you DO feel the lack of modularity compared to more modern implementation of the same concept like the smersh, as someone who owns both.

Neither are worth what places like kommandostore want for them now.

Me and several others in my battalion use SORD webbing. Not great when mounted, but much better than a chest rig or vest when dismounted, especially with a ruck.

I had a battle jacket but ultimately sold it. Reaching the pouches was awkward, mags pouches were floppy when filled, and the backpack was unusable by yourself.

Atlas AT9302-D3 Walking Foot w/sewing computer. Yes, it matters. You really need an industrial machine if you want to do webbing/gear effectively. I suggest a compound feed industrial machine if you are interested.

That's been my take so far. I'm guessing is probably some prototype in OD since the M83 chest rig was based on the ChiCom. It's not even the same bright green color.

Same shit as people paying thousands of dollars for green dyed bakelite furniture sold as "border guard" sets. The real thing might exist, but the odds of you being able to actually find it are so close to nill that odds are anyone selling it is lying about its provenance
