In theory, how well could a poorfag with some redneck ingenuity convert a camera tripod from a thrift store into a rifle bipod ?asking for a friend

hunters use camera tripods with adaptors for clamps all the time. theyre extremely useful. search triclawps

This. Had a grippod for a while. It was shit. As a grip, it was huge, unergonomic and way too fucking long. As a bipod, it was unstable and non adjustable. Utter piece of shit. It sits in a drawer now.

Daddy chill, all of those optics work great and hold their zero just fine. I'm keeping the front sight post because there's a popup mounted under the scope in case I have to drop the entire setup in a worst-case scenario (if I can't find batteries for the reflex in SHTF).
