Just saw this from an article on SHOT show. Do boomers really make up almost half of the gun owning population?

It's a relatively expensive hobby. That's goong to skew.it more heavily towards those with more disposable income

Yeah I’m sure if some person randomly called me and asked if there was a gun in the house I’d tell the truth

Im living off neetbux as a college student. Cant really afford to feed my hobby. I think most people in the 18-25 age range are also poor fags. Its an expensive hobby

Yup, boomers and whites
Luckily they're both dying off

Tick-tock tick-tock white boi

People aged 30-49 aren't baby boomers..... You are referring to baby boomers right? Or is this some other new edgy label?

i get calls to my cell from various research groups, no association with my address, and i always make it a point to answer them politely and at length skewing the answers, and hopefully the results wildly pro gun.

>boomer doesn't think he's a boomer
Lol get out of here, boomer
This is a Zoomer neighborhood

so 45% of households vs 30% of adults? does that break down to a higher percent of gun owners now?

Boomers are the only ones dumb enough to claim they have a gun. When asked most people say no.

boomers were the generation born from returning ww2 vets. the war ended in 1945

I'm 31 years old...not a baby boomer.

Baby boomers were born from 1946 to 1964.

No. According to the graph its 21%
Do you know what a boomer is?
According to this, half of all guns are owned by the youngest third of the population.

wut? i don't speak 'hoodrat'

stfu 30yo boomers.

Your time is almost over whiteboi :^)

What? I literally don't even know what your point is. Baby boomers were born from 1946-1964.

Is this like when a kid doesn't know the answer or gets an answer wrong so he does something silly or makes a stupid face in order to try and distract the teacher?

Yeah, pretty much. Children think "boomer" means "old person", and are incapable of distinguishing between anyone over age 25.

...

It's a mentality thing. Those 30 and up are more likely to share views, opinions, and traits of the boomer generation even without literally being them.
Something about growing up in the prime of the information age changed the younger generations

Guys people in their late 30's are totally the same as 80+ yr olds! This memeinfographic on the internet said so!

please commit sudoku at your earliest convenience

> t. oldfag who is tired of your shit

honk honk it is

That wouldn't surprise me, seeing that guns can be an expensive endeavor and hobby, and boomers have all this money left over from retirement, social security, shit like that.

>Those 30 and up are more likely to share views, opinions, and traits of the boomer generation even without literally being them.
Yeah. It's called life experience. By the time you're 30 life has kicked the shit out of you a time or two. You gain perspective. Zoomers thinking "lol dumb boomers I know better so like totally lame" is on par with the stupidity of the hippies. I'm not sure who I hate more, millenials as a whole are whiny SJW's. Zoomers are a bunch of ADD idiots who will die if their smart phones are not LITERALLY on their person 24/7. FML I want an asteroid to reboot this godforsaken planet already.

Stay mad, boomer

Graph is fairly good, but also fairly sad. It shows that people 30+ are owning guns to quite a high % - when those 30 to 49 get older, they'll bump the 50 to 64 % up... but the sad thing is the 18 to 29's aren't buying... so then weapons will be all but dead in their generation unless there's a huge effort to encourage young people into the sport

Just like white people

>Yeah. It's called life experience.
Stopped reading there. Typical, stupid boomer response.

>but the sad thing is the 18 to 29's aren't buying
Guns are expensive and most people in this age range are either in college or at a lower level job.

Also I'd never answer a poll about gun ownership.

Do you think any zoomer in the information age is going to self report firearms with the fear of civil war and .gov list making?

>Guns are expensive
Am I that out of touch? 2 years ago my daughter was in 1st grade and her classmates all had iPhone 8's or above. And you're telling me 18-year-old's can't afford a $200 gun?

>Do you think any zoomer in the information age is going to self report firearms with the fear of civil war and .gov list making?
Yes, yes I do. They've been born into an era where it's totally normal to share what they eat, what they wear, what they think, who they believe in and who they're fucking online, so why wouldn't they?

This is the most teenage post I have ever seen on Jow Forums.

This is how young people try to act like they have insight into the world. People who are older than you have done more than you have done, and know more, and have experienced more. That's why they have this 'mystique' around them that you can't really quite grasp....it's call you aren't hire-able and they don't want to tell you.

Yes, most zoomers would post their guns on Instagram desu

>growing up in an easy-mode economy with a functioning society leftover from the prior generation and mind-numbing broadcast propaganda counts as life experience

I suppose it did teach you to be stupid. Most idiots have to be born that way.

>Am I that out of touch?
Yes
>her classmates all had iPhone 8's or above. And you're telling me 18-year-old's can't afford a $200 gun?
I don't think most people who are actually interested in firearms are looking at getting ring of fire shit or Hi-Points

Those iPhones are bought by 30-something parents, the same age range where ownership seems to spike.

>taking a pole with a big grain of salt
Sounds painful...

Attached: 1551850546552.jpg (446x596, 43K)

>This is how young people try to act like they have insight into the world
It's how a certain group of young people have a legitimate claim to insight because they dont get all their information and conclusions from a single news source with an agenda. Not that boomers cant, just that theyre less likely to and often outright reject other sources
>People who are older than you have done more than you have done, and know more, and have experienced more
done more of what? Hopefully shooting isnt your example.
It's not like I wont listen to what they have to say or going fresh into something I wont take the advice of someone more experienced
>That's why they have this 'mystique' around them that you can't really quite grasp
not really
>it's call you aren't hire-able and they don't want to tell you.
I work with exclusively boomers at least and they love me and like it when I show them something new :^)

pro-tip

what you're saying now will feel silly once you hit your late 20's

i was like you once

Don't trust surveys. Respondents do not answer them honestly.

t. literal polster

I dont hate because I think Im superior or all boomers are absolute somethings with no redeeming values, I do it because it's fun and it gets to them because there's a bit of truth to it. Just like it's fun to call out zoomers for their stereotypes.

I do take seriously the differences between where information is gathered and how younger generation's fluency with the internet changed a lot of their thinking and conclusions on matters. Not that boomers are more likely to have poor positions but different for sure. Look at the boomers here, theyre more likely to share political opinions common with us rather than the typical fox/cnn listener because they know how to use and have access to/seen the same reports and ideas we have but I cant prove thats cause or correlation. Even just on the spread of ideas/conclusions, simply listening to the news and relying on Tucker to share his opinion isnt nearly as informative as comment sections on the internet where a few heroes from far away places will go against a narrative, without the same agendas, and state why they think differently even if you disagree with them and there is a lot bs to sift through.
Dont think I dont know that most younger people arent as clueless as the past though.
Im phone posting on OT so sorry if this was hard to understand. Also, sorry for bullying you earlier.

>Oldfag
Anyone who has to say they're an oldfag is guaranteed to be an underage faggot who is butthurt.

>prime of the Information Age
>Snapchat and twitch

Yeah, you guys sure are Syrinx priests. Idiot gen x and y just wallowed around building every interface you use.

>but the sad thing is the 18 to 29's aren't buying
You understand 30 to 49 is almost twice the age range of 18 to 29, right?
And considering 18-21s are generally more restricted in buying guns, and college students (18-22ish) frequently choose not to own guns because they don't have a good place to keep them, you'd expect the 18-29 bracket to be underrepresented.

Attached: 1495124554188.jpg (600x246, 38K)

Yes, now be grateful that those "fudds" are the only reason we have guns AT ALL after the AWB in the '90s.

You tell the truth, unless the truth is that you don't have a gun. If you think some alphabet soup agency is trolling for gun owners, you're a moron. The person you should be worried about trolling your phone is jamaal, and he's looking for you to say that you're unarmed so he knows where to get his crack money.

Lucky. All the bullshit phonecalls I get are a cute asian woman trying to say "JAYH PEE MORRANN!" and a buncha mandarin.

...

He's not wrong, but it will probably take you a decade to realize it.

>Zoomers are a bunch of ADD idiots who will die if their smart phones are not LITERALLY on their person 24/7
Millenials are like this, too, though. I just leave my phone at home, it functions like a POTS line that goes down when shit hits the fan. It's for talking to my parents, since they'll die one day.

Screenshot this and look at it and laugh at yourself in 15 years

Remember, the non-white population is higher amongst the younger demographics. Shit skins only use guns for crime. Guns aren't a legitimate cultural staple as is the case for whites. Yes, I'm 14/88.

Fuck off, Mr. ATF.
You're not even trying to hide it anymore. ffs.

Attached: 1550225379963.jpg (1080x1080, 89K)

It's not intelligence agencies people are worried about if someone randomly calls them and asks them if a gun is in the house.

it doesnt matter what was built, it's upbringing. If under 30 is considered zoomer than theyre the ones who grew up using it and didnt have the same time without it

Based lurking zoomers

it's nowhere near as expensive as the car/truck hobby and that is arguably more popular among young people than guns.

It has nothing to do with money, its culture. Which is exactly what the 'boomer' meme is used for now - the mocking and destruction of American culture.
You live in the most prosperous time in history, and that has made you weak, spoiled, and stupid
Fuck off retard
