In for "everybody learn from Burt and not buy an R51" edition.

I'm feeling a lacking in my wheelgun collection of late, and I like extremes in size. So probably either an LCR or an XVR. Unless I happen to trip over a Buntline at an acceptable price.

burt....plz burt. Please tell me you actually shoot more than indicated...

What’s the best value in pistol lights currently? I’ve got a tlr-1s but want something a bit smaller/sneaker. Looking to spend around $120 or less

>he bought two
WHY WHYYYY

If this was in .45 I wouldn't be able to hand them money fast enough.

Good holsters for the P30L? Also should I get the heavy trigger spring if I have the V1?

The p10c is the pinnacle of combat/defensive pistol design. Everything that the VP9 was supposed to be five years ago, the p10c is.

Attached: IMG_20190306_193109.jpg (4032x3024, 3.69M)

The trigger reach is too short
Like all CZ's, it's made for people with size small to medium hands

I like it. Did you do the stippling?

I want to get the G34 Gen 5 FS MOS for USPSA carry optics

The gun was pretty new in that pic from ~3 years ago, and also that gun absolutely babbies brass especially since I almost exclusively shoot Wolf Gold. The next one I built was a lightweight which had more brass on the brass deflector after 1 mag than this one did after 500 rounds.

Because I regretted selling the first one

>value
As long as you're not going to do anything mean to it, Olight's ~$60 sales are as good as you're going to get for less than a Streamlight.

I have some news for you buddy

Attached: smug.jpg (1080x1080, 451K)

Don't get the MOS, buy a regular G34 and have it milled.

If it's a competition gun you also won't want a Trij, get it milled for a Deltapoint (which will also fit Burris, J-Point, Sig, and Vortex). Trijicon's whole schtick is ultra-durable, and they trade a lot of clarity and window size to get it.

>babies brass
Nice. I've got a couple that I've tuned to be that way, including my .300blk AR
>tune my .300blk to just barely lock back on empty mag with 203gr Palmetto Projectile handloads at 1000fps
>brass doesn't even touch brass deflector
>1700 rounds through it of nothing but 200gr+ subs and brass deflector is pristine
>decide I wanna kill some hogs
>3 mags of 110gr Vmax supers and I have NO FUCKING ANODIZING AT ALL left and all the case mouths were smashed completely fucking closed
I had seriously considered a Noveske Switchblock when I built the rifle but wanted autistic levels of fine-tuning capability and decided against it. Oh well.

I'm heavily considering one of these for carrying. It's that, a G26, or a P10s whenever that comes out.

Based and redpilled

It's the predecessor to the 87T and shares all the same complaints while having a similar trigger. They're neat, and if you can snag it for under $500 it's a hell of a deal, but they're nothing truly spectactular.

Whats sorts of problems are we talking here?

Somewhat more picky with ammo than other .22 target pistols. Grips are too short for most people (frame size is under that of the 92 Compact). Mags are hard to find and very expensive ($45+). Long trigger pull, especially for a target gun.

Nothing deal-breaking. They're valuable because they're not super common, and are well-made, but my personal opinion is they're not any better than the "entry level" target pistols like Ruger Mks or Browning Buckmarks or S&W 22As. LIke I said, if you can get it for $500 or less, do it, but if it goes for more than that IMO it's not worth it.

lol

My SBR is adjusted to just lock back on Wolf Gold without a suppressor so if I ever have to use a quantity of Mk262 it'll probably be a lot worse.

Attached: i will trick them with a bargain.jpg (2400x1600, 813K)

Put the .38 Special in the PPQ, Kit

Will the Walther Q5 Match ever replace the CZ Shadow 2 as a race gun?

Wolf Gold isn't weak tho.

I thought about getting the Q5, but then I got to shoot my buddies Shadow 2, and Jesus christ that gun carries the shooter.

>low left with everything I shoot
>try S2
>15 yards out
>penny size 10 rounds on X

Attached: Roxanne.gif (245x204, 279K)

It's not weak but it does tend to waver on the weakish side for 55gr. Not as slow as Winchester but it's definitely not consistently M193 spec. Mk262 has noticeably more recoil in my rifles.

No, the Shadow line is too sorted for production guns, but the Q5 is Walther's best attempt and that's worth buying for me.

Is a steel guide rod necessary for a glock? I've heard mixed opinions just don't know which side to go with

Honestly just want it for the cool factor and l dont own a .22lr and since l shoot mostly pistols l thought why not. Thanks for the advice friend

CZs have always been cheater guns, but those shadows are just something else. I'm torn as to whether I should upgrade my SP01 or just buy a Shadow 2.Also, Ibet you have a folder full to the brim of yiff.

I know that was an insult but it made me laugh

Fuck no. People who recommend those are morons.

Absolutely not. It's not even desirable.

>yiff
No, just qt 3.14s, I actually find all forms of nudity distasteful. Weird I fucking know.

Gradutated from being a /nogunz/ today Jow Forums

picked up a used CZ85 for 500$. Put some rounds through it and it's rock-solid, then broke it down and cleaned it thoroughly. Anything else I should make sure to do?

Sleep with it, at least once loaded. Get comfortable with it.

Give the gun a wipedown with an oily rag to prevent corrosion.

That was one of the instructions in my cleaning kit

buy wood grips

Attached: cqvNcdg.jpg (1632x1224, 365K)

I'm about to snag a used VP9 tomorrow, looking forward to it. Not exactly the best deal, but I've been pining for one for a year or so now.

I once asked my friend how many guns she thought was too many, she answered five. This will be tipping me over, though I know it's a small collection to most.

Weebistry is one thing, but unironically and seriously putting angel, punisher or samurai grips on your firearm is some lobotomite level shit

I want a Glock 19 for the reliability, cheap mags and rifles that use the same mags. I don't want plastic sights and it's expensive. What else should I look at?

>angel
>virgin Mary

A Glock 19 with metal sights, waiting another week for your paycheck to cone in.

>all CZs
CZ97 is hueg

Save up for a Glock 19 and have it milled for a dot sight or swap the sights out (?)

Wait an extra week or two, and get a gun you can shoot for a lifetime.

glock 43 or M&P shield?
what's a better subcompact?

Nice!

Don't think you have to purchase anything for him, just shoot and enjoy

I kind of want to get some Jesus grips now.

How much is it? Does this change anything?
gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/642230250857

The 43 is a bit smaller but the Shield is better shooting with better sights and a better trigger and more capacity. Depends on what you like honestly

rate my overpriced $430 shitheap

Glocks are perfect out the box! :(

Rub all over with benis.

Glock 43X

Nice. I've got a brand new Gen 5 coming tomorrow. I'm putting a Gen 5 G19 MOS slide on top of a G45 frame. RMR RM06 type 2 in black, Surefire X300U-B in black 100 lumen, KKM barrel and comp.

Attached: 20180929_214332.jpg (2705x1777, 1.08M)

totally defeats the purpose of deep concealment
end the bastard glocks

Is there any reason to buy a 19X now that the 45 is out?

If you want deep concealment then get a Ruger LCP.

IMO no and I sold my 19X.

I'm excited for my 45/19MOS combo. Hopefully the MOS system holds up.

Attached: 20180929_214402.jpg (2681x1769, 1.11M)

checked and I think I need a lobotomy for even wanting to build it. I just realized I'm actually closer to $500 now after the meprolights which I didn't even fucking realize were made in jewland. I've built 4 guns now and this is the first case of builders remorse. I want to post birth abort it.

Not everyone here is running around with an XD with Grip Zone™. If you're collecting, how often are you going to shoot the goddamn thing anyways?

Only one of my pistols goes more than a month without being shot, and when I shoot them I run a minimum of 100rds through them.

I dunno, I guess i'm actually interested in getting good with the guns that I own. Even full-power 10mm auto is cheaper than 5.7 and
more fun
That's pretty cool, I have a few duplicates that I don't touch, the five-seven is not particularly enjoyable to shoot IMO, but I think it's a neat gun from a uniqueness point of view. I guess it hinges on how many pistols you have. I prefer to just shoot my old gen3 glock 30.

Nice gun user, why'd you delete it?

There is no Gen 5 Glock 34 without the MOS cut

And I would be getting a deltapoint pro or if I'm being cheap then a poortex venom/viper

G26

Ironically they are extremely accurate. The P10s looks kind of neat though if you were to put a red dot.

Fuck no

They're popular in carry optics but they're light, top heavy, and have weird ergos. I'd rather shoot a Glock with a ghost rocket connector and have 90% as good a trigger but with ergos and softer recoil that I'm used to.

>Necessary
Definitely not

If you want one, get one but with the reason being tweaking your recoil spring weight. I did this and tried several guide rods with spring weights between #13-#15 but honestly decided I liked the factory #17 with polymer captured rod just as much or more. When you drop Glock recoil spring weight, you sometimes need to reduce the striker spring weight otherwise it won't work right. As for the guide rod weight difference, I can only really tell when it's a tungsten rod but those are notorious for breaking with enough use due to being brittle.

Shadow 2. It's a completely different gun

Safariland

You can literally buy fiber optic ameriglos for the Glock 19 for $40

Nice gun wuggy

I guess it's a different mindset, for me, I'm thinking this AWB will get passed, we'll see bans on shit like 'assault pistols', the Five-seveN would probably fit under that. I would not recommend it as a first pistol or even a fourth or fifth, but if you want something to throw onto an already existing pile, you could do worse.

In the upper corner of the frame there was an envilope, clear as day, that said [user's] W2s.

I'm retaking one without my relatively uncommon name in plain view.

Buying a Manurhin next week or the week after, then it'll probably arrive later this month/early next month. I'm excited to say the least.

Attached: Manurhin-MR88-Revolver_101123732_659_5CF424D72A130DAF.jpg (2251x1363, 156K)

Yeah, G20 or Delta Elite re-issue would be a cool addition to a collection. I agree that 5.7 isn't particularly fun, and unless you're in a cartel with ss190, it doesn't really make much sense.

Here's a better picture.

On a sidenote, what do you guys shoot for range ammo? I've heard blazer brass is cheap and reliable in 9mm.

Attached: IMG_20190306_234449.jpg (3840x2160, 2.38M)

I hear the tangfolio 10mm cz clones are decent too, if not super tolerant of massively powerful hand loads. I just wish I was more comfortable shooting Glock grips, I've been spoiled by PPQs and CZs

I had a hard-on for CZ type guns in the early 2000s and never actually got around to getting one. Tanfoglio's Witness 10mm might be the ticket.

Federal, Fiocchi, Sellier & Bellot, Blazer and Magtech have all been fine for me. I avoid Winchester white box, Remington green box and anything steel or aluminum cased.
