Having grown up with Brit immigrants for parents, I've never much had a chance to ever be around firearms, much less actually own or use any, and so I never paid much mind to them at all. It was only after moving out that it became a possibility for me, and even then I never saw them as a thing that interested me until I was recently invited out by a buddy of mine to a firing range where I got to use his Czech pistol, and I near immediately became very, very interested in guns. However, I'm a complete dumbass and I'm too autistic to make decisions for myself, so I'd like to ask you all what I should buy as my first gun.
Tl;dr: I'm a mongoloid who can't make their own decisions, what gun should I buy?
Pretty much this OP, PSA ARs aren't the best in the world, but they work fine. A CZ75 or a glock 17 would be a good first 9mm pistol along with it.

Buy a few but buy a good quality bolt action 22 rifle and learn to shoot.
Isaiah Smith
Usual AR wonder nine kids who can't shoot. Buy yourself a good shotgun and bolt action 22LR to start with OP.

I've really taken a liking to bullpup shotgun designs myself, but the only ones I see talked about are that KSG and UTS-15, and those are both godawful, from what I've heard, based on the fact that the plastic they're made of tends to break, and there's been instances where idiots have blown off their hands because of it, and I don't much trust myself to not be just as stupid.

Personally if I were you I'd just get a decent semi auto that takes chokes, a set of chokes for it, something that is proofed for steel shot and go bust some clays at a club to get some actual ability with it. You can buy one of the tacicool junk guns anytime after
Revolvers are the absolute worst to shoot. Don't do it OP If you are really going for one, then go for the Colt. Do not under any circumstance buy kimber
Jayden Martin
those may be good additions but arent on the ban chopping block. ar15 and high capacity auto loader first
A nice cheap revolver too, you may be able to find a nice .38 or old .357 for a decent price
Jason Cox
>yep, *cracks open bud light zero ultra* bolt action .22 was a good game* >gotta start with fudd guns before you move on to semi autos because life is an RPG
Jordan Williams
Join surp gang my dude. Buy some British gats like a Lee-Enfield and make your parents proud.
Get a bolt action in an intermediate round like a howa mini action.
Pros >cheap. Can be found sub $400 new. >ammo is cheap so you can shoot a lot >rile is more accurate than you are >great for plinking
Cons >not semi

The first question you need to ask yourself is. “Am I buying a gun for a purpose? Or am I buying a gun for fun?” And of course, regardless of what you buy or for what purpose. Just make sure you stay safe and don’t be a dumbass. And actually learn how to use a firearm properly I.e. how to zero it, proper trigger discipline and control, proper firing stances and breathing control, etc.
I would, preferably, like to have something that's great for self-defense, since right now I mostly have to walk around my own neighborhood with a telescopic baton as self-defense due to the large amount of attacks. However, I would also like a rifle or shotgun as home defense as well, as I sometimes hear people moving around outside at night and have had my car broken into several times in the time I've lived in the area. With that in mind, I need to make sure the person actually dies, since I've been told that if you shoot anyone they could end up suing you.

>want a gummy for home defense >9mm semi automatic pistol >9mm jacket hollow point ammunition >continual training and practice with said firearm so that you don’t fuck up when it counts >look up and read the laws and standard procedures of a defensive shooting in your state and teach yourself what will happen after one goes down, spoiler alert, your gonna get arrested 99/100.
