Post and discuss aesthetic weapons
Its everything not asked for. It deserved its place in the SOF but never for the mainline
pic unrelated?
SKS is peak aesthetics
specifically Karbiner-S
Pic very related.
yep, it does it all in style
It's an incredible weapon system but it is a little overly complex for your average crayon eater. Too many small parts that can go missing, too tricky to teach all of the different ways a malfunction might occur or be cleared in it's different configurations.
if you ditch all the meme shit and stick to what it was good at (being an LMG) you'd have the best LMG on the market
it was too busy trying to also be a rifle, which never works
Yeah, they already had M16s and CAR15s, what the 63 brought to the table was a beltfed 5.56mm LMG, something which they never had before, and that's what the users fell in love with so much, and used the very most.
It would have been a much better weapon if it had focused on that, but the FN M249 is better as a belt-fed 5.56mm LMG at any rate.
A friend of mine did some PMC work in Africa back in the early nineties. He said that the Rhodies he worked with were really enamored with the Stoner 63 both as an LMG/SAW and as a rifle. These guys were of course a class of professional soldiers that were highly experienced with their kit and maintaining their weapons vs. the average U.S. infantrymen.
Yes buy cant I hold a girl out of my league on tinder.
Is is some sorta oogabooga curse to ask em if college is going okay?
This thing was a solution looking for a problem nobody had. Still neat but in a retarded kinda way.
>STANAG is stuck directly in front of the sights
How the fuck are you supposed to shoot?
with your hands
>semi-auto rifle using a fixed magazine and stripper clips from the 1890s
What were they thinking?
The "Bren" config had offset sights.
The most aesthetic battle rifle
Just don't take it apart.
Arguably the most aesthetic .22 caliber pistol ever made.
>stripper clips from the 1890s
are you trying to be funny?
Not the stock furniture but it's the sexiest little thing I've ever seen.
Guys, why is my peepee hard?
why?
ooof
Has think he meant the general concept of stripper clips desu
She cute
>local auction has one of the Robinson semi-auto versions
>considering selling a bunch of my milsurp stuff to get it
Fugg
i like it
Mine too. The bigger pp gets the gun though
I just bought one.
I like it
I like it a lot
>read owner's manual engraved into the gun
objective -5 points of the back
the carbine/rifle setup kinda resembles a weird American AK
this nigga knows what's up
>aesthetic
>nonfunctional weight-adding components
You cannot have something which is both aesthetic and burdeonsome. To be aesthetic, an object must be ideal, both in form and function. This trash which old men call "just as good" and "all natural" is literally flammable compacted paper. It needs to be covered in superior materials so that it doesn't literally fall apart. It'll expand and contract with any change in temperature, pressure, or humidity. It's literally the most fragile material we have, and the only reason it hasn't become completely obsolete is because oldfags think it's "pretty" because you can see all the imperfections in every piece.
WRONG
and the shitty cyberpunk remake version, still looks good though
Guys
dafuq?
how the fuck is there not a g11 in this thread
unacceptable
It's a shame that brastil warps as it ages
>Rhodies
>Early 90s

Obrez when?
the Stoner 63A is the best designed SAW/LSW ever made.
Minus the wood handguard, I need. Bad.
lolno
Wood handguard and perforated heatshield is how you do a Jew FAL
its hip to be square
Still the most beautiful pistol ever made
