I couldn't give a recommendation for Galil kits as I've never built one but I've heard that sourcing receivers was a bitch IIRC.

I can confirm that Galil receivers are either expensive as fuck, out of stock, or both. ATI has one and AIM Surplus is selling them for $329.
I picked one up and they're pretty nice for sub-$400.

It is a real gun, the sides are stainless and stripped of paint and covered in paint thinner. It also isn't even put together right now, I just stuck the receivers together for the photo. All the parts are in a drawer right now.

To be honest I havent fired it yet. I just picked it up last Sunday and havent had a chance yet, ended up working a ton of OT this week.
What I have noticed though is the barrel is not entirely in line with the receiver, it points ever so slightly to the right.
The gas port holes were not in any way de-burred at the factory, if you look down the barrel you can see about 1/8th inch high burrs sticking straight up but I imagine a few slugs will fix that.
The gun has multiple spots that are already rusting on it, the bolt had the most rust, inside the charging handle slot, the bolt rails, etc etc. Had to use #0000 steel wool to get most of it off but it seemed like the rust had been there a while and was quite deep.
I just bought it for fun and mainly to just give a review on it because it seems like no one else out there except one guy has reviewed it yet.
I also cant find any info on what the shotgun is based on and what aftermarket parts will fit it. I've heard it based off the Remington 1100, but almost none of the aftermarket optic rails look like they will line up with it.
I've emailed BAT and haven't gotten a response as to what parts will work for it yet. Kind of sucks they dont include any to aim the fucker.
I am for sure shooting it tomorrow and will post here again if the thread is still up
