I ship to Ft. Sill in late May. Any tips?

Why do NCOs love other men fucking their wives? My SSG wanted me to “blow out her back” while he jacked off. Shit was weird. I just laughed it off.

Remember OPSEC, dummy

Thanks user. That has to be the gayest shit I've ever read.

Don't be first, don't be last, try not to stand out. That's what I was told anyway.

Also where my benning boys at, going to infantry OSUT in 9 days. Hope to see some fellow Jow Forumsommandos there

He desperately wanted to trick you into getting kicked out for adultery

Oh really?

navy.com/who-we-are

congrats, you're probably going at the perfect time weather wise. I went last august and experienced both 110 degree weather at the beginning and 35 with freezing rain at the end.

That was one of my hunches.

I'm coming from the gulf area so I'm just glad to be out of the monstrous humidity, at least for a couple of months before it picks up again during the summer

is going to behavioral health actually worth it?

Any Signal series here?

Any way to be a signal ranger?

Attached: 1550706536443.jpg (1080x1095, 152K)

When you get a Secret security clearance (let’s say, for the Rangers or SF) what do they check? Like
>what records do they pull?
>do they talk to my references?
>Should I lie about my medical records and high school disciplinary records?

Attached: 9776C54D-D162-4A78-844E-794DE2E99126.jpg (625x408, 121K)

No. Everybody will think of you as a crybaby and they’ll try to discharge you at the first opportunity.

They don't violate HIPPA for TS and I'm pretty sure they don't give a shit about high school for S

yes, apply for a rasp slot in ait
idk what specific signals mos the regt takes but you can check here
benning.army.mil/tenant/75thranger/Specialties.html
>what records do they pull?
financial, criminal
>do they talk to my references?
nah bro
>Should I lie about my medical records and high school disciplinary records?
yeah, thats what I did and I got my clearance just fine
caveat: according to 350f bro they are outsourcing clearance investigations to actual competent people now so this is more risky than it was in the past.
what specifically are you worried about?

Secret is just a more motivated background check, my parents are illegal as fuck and they didn't give a shit.
I also know a guy who came in using some other guys social security number and got a S clearance.

redpill me on the army

I am a 25U (Signal Support Systems Specialist)
If I do go ranger...what will I do?

It's a huge organization and there's a lot of different shit you can do. Cool guy shit or boring shit

figures
its cool I'll just kill myself in the middle of a deployment to korea and blame pt belts and pov inspections in my note

Attached: 1490154261134.png (930x1124, 1.6M)

Is it easy getting into HSI if you have a TS clearance?

I was a dumbass teenager and my parents got divorced so I tried to ‘kill myself’ (I was stupid, I didn’t know what I was doing) I was hospitalized for a while (no police or court was involved, and there’s no scars or anything like that) and also when I was in Freshmen year, me and my friend photoshopped a picture of our teacher with cum on her face. All that happened was i got suspended and I had to fill out a sexual harassment form or something like that. I graduated from a different school so I just lied to the recruiter.
I know for TS they go through all your shit and talk to your references, but what about Secret?

Imagine an incompetent staffing agency where you get to practice with guns sometimes. Combine that with a frat and you have the army.

RTO probably
sometimes they work in S6
you don't want that

Is it retarded to enlist if I hate gub't but like discipline and the military atmosphere?

tbqh wait til 350Fbro pops up and ask him directly, I'd go for it if I was in your shoes since its basically what I did when I joined but clearances were a bit less stringent then, apparently.

I want to see a therapist for my worsening depression but I’m afraid it’ll fuck my chances of enlisting or put me on a list of looneys that can’t own guns. Am I just being a paranoid retard or should I just suck it up?

heard S6 is garbage and signal brigade ?
but what can I do to absolutely AVOID that shit?

My recruiter said 12Ks see the most hardcore shit in the army, is that true?

you're thinking of 92Ys

Attached: 1482718317177.jpg (750x1024, 123K)

Charlie 1-31 pray you go there easy ride ft sill sucks prepare for Permanent sinus damage

Oh yeah buddy, you'll be in the shit so much you'll wish you never took that MOS to begin with

well, the 75th doesn't have a signal brigade so pass RASP
although there is the communications company which kind of works like one
it's all luck honestly, if something is undermanned that's where you're going.

I’m not an expert or anything, but I’ve been through what you’re talking about. I voluntarily stayed in an mental hospital when I was younger. And even though I’m noguns (too poor to afford) it seems from what I’ve heard is that if it’s voluntairily and police/courts/government wasn’t involved, then you’re good

What's a sign of poor leadership?

Does bad leadership look the same in the military as it does outside of the military?

Everyone in the military hates the government dude. Most of us are here for money. Yes we exist to advance the economic and political interests of the oligarch. So what? Better ours than somebody else’s.

Ive been having intrusive thoughts about an heroing for about 4 months
should I tell my coc/talk to anyone or just ignore it?

Attached: 1479705883730.jpg (960x720, 123K)

Yes, the story of Sgt Pepper's exploits in Iraq is harrowing

youtube.com/watch?v=ky5KwoWoBKU

Pretty much, the only difference is that unless something heinous is being committed by the leadership, no one is gonna do shit about it because the people it tends to affect are scared 18-19 year olds who have no idea that they're actually allowed to speak up about something through their chain of command

What's the deal with WOFT? I hear people saying that even the most braindead retard can get in, but others saying it's actually really tough.

Okay, well, that’s good to know. I feel like if I mention even slightly that I’d want to kill myself they’d throw me in though. Appreciate it.

Don’t put yourself on the government radar or say anything about wanting to hurt yourself and you’ll be okay. Then you can join the rest of us depressed soldiers, sailers, marines, and metrosexuals contemplating suicide every day.

The braindead retards are the ones saying it's actually really tough

Yeah but you also have to sacrifice your moral codes which is one of my main concerns for it. Especially considering the absolute state of my country.

Be practical first. You know which moral principles are worth fighting for then.

Don’t tell anybody. Ignore it and pretend nothing is wrong. They’ll just call you whiner at best or a nutcase at worst.

One person can’t make a difference in the world. You’re no worse than the guy who hands his tax dollars to them.

Which MOS/AFSC has the most Asians? (flips don't count)

fuck no. Only the most retarded or whitest of blacks go anything near infantry.

Alright bro I will do, thank you

I second you on the high school discipline record. I'm graduating a different school now with great marks but I got expelled from one before. It happened about 2 years ago and I'm finishing up school in the DEP with a job that requires a TS, the actual record is clean now from what they told me and I'm clean. They've contacted my employer already and my manager told them I was a clean person and all clear but they haven't talked to my teachers yet who I put down there.

350f, is that stuff true about them using a different agency for organizations? My recruiter and other people with TS' said I will be fine because I never got into legal trouble like fingerprinted or drugs. Also do I got much to worry about?

If Chowhall marines ain't the blackest mos then you can slap my ass and call me Sally.

Will being in the military fix my lonely life?

My English abilities are starting to falter since I have nobody to talk to. If I didn't talk to myself, I fear I may very well forget how to talk at all. I've got a lot of problems, and I suspect that being around other people could reverse all of this

Its called Toastmasters

toastmasters.org/

Find one, join it and actually benefit. Or sit on your ass and feel sorry for yourself.

This won't fix the loneliness, but this looks pretty good. Thank you user.

>Will being in the military fix my lonely life?
Of course. People in the armed forces are well known for psychological stability and tight knit emotional support networks.

is 30th ag just for infantry or everyone who goes to ft benning?

Hows life in the infantry, boys? everytime I say Im thinking about joining and saying Im thinking infantry or combat arms, people gawk at me or even veterans say Im insane. The thing is, I havent had a good group of friends in years and jokes aside I see vets talking about the camaraderie on top of getting to do soldier shit and it makes me want it. Also, how much actual soldiering/training do most infantry units do now? Do I get more training/chances to deploy if Im in the airborne or air assault vs a leg unit? Im also thinking about intel units, like the 35L, some user posted about all the various 35 series and it seemed interesting, but would I still get to deploy or work with infantry units? Do intel guys get a shot at RASP, Ranger school or airborne school?

Lastly, say I try an MOS and dont like it, whats the transfer p[process like? Is it easier to transfer 'down" into something easy like infantry or combat arms vs "up" into something more select like intel?
For background, Im a college graduate (thinking about OCS but not crazy on not picking my MOS), been trying to gain experience in the work field for the past 2 and a half years and every year it just seems to get worse. everyone is a back stabbing lil bitch and I think I chose the wrong degree. One of my childhood friends joined the marines and posts memes and stories about it and despite the ball busting he and his bros have this bond that makes me envious as fuck

Attached: 1546651335859.jpg (512x512, 30K)

no
you will become even more miserable and lonely if you join the military

>lhe various 35 series and it seemed interesting, but would I still get to deploy or work with infantry units?
Yes if you're tac, rarely if strat
>Do intel guys get a shot at RASP, Ranger school or airborne school?
It's possible if you're high speed aka not fat

>tac, rarely if strat
whats the difference? Im not fat either and (sort of) a Jow Forumsizen, so I guess that helps

Everyone. It's not like they have everything prepackaged and ready for you. Infantry is a very sizable portion of the military, so there are lots of people waiting in line. It's not uncommon for people to say that 30th AG is harder than Basic so if you can endure the crushing soul sucking boredom, you'll be fine.

If you want to transfer, it all depends on whether or not you're qualified, and MOS strength. If your current MOS has plenty of people, and your desired MOS has a need for people, you'll be able to slide in pretty easily. If your MOS is in need, or the MOS you want is already filled, then good luck.

Salk experimented on prisoners and mental patients without their consent.

pbs.org/newshour/health/medical-slideshow-code

Tactical = assigned to e.g. an infantry unit (then stuffed in an office). Strategic = probably in an all-intel, all-office site on the homefront.

To transfer MOS's, you simply re-class on your next contract, but this usually requires a personnel shortage in whatever MOS you're applying to.

Intel guys have a lot of opportunity to become butt buddies for high-speed people and good fed contractor jobs afterward. It's a good career role, but there's still lots of office BS involved.

careful with that hate speech buddy
you dont get promoted in the US armed forces with talk like that

you wanna succeed? look at mattis.
talk about war with iran all the time and jews will write articles about how you never sleep and shave with a kabar.

Attached: enrolled.jpg (717x640, 127K)

Tac is tactical. If you're attached to some regular unit then your command likely won't know how to use you and you'll be siting on your dick in the motorpool. On the otherhand you can be in cool guy units doing cool guys shit.

Strat is strategic so like at an Agency site, generally boring but cushy. Some sections do interesting stuff though.

>>easier to injure yourself if you're untrained
lel no
>>will make pt tests take twice as long
how horrible
its ok, should be far harder

Nah. If you’re a loner outside the military you’ll be a loner in the military. People will end up caring about you but you’ll be close to anyone.

cringe as fuck you idiot

how do I get into tac units instead of strat? does it come down to the MOS *(in this case intel) type? I see some of the other 35 series are entirely computer science based and I dont want that

why dont you have friends user?
Cause I dont have any either

Attached: 1539742605111.jpg (1024x538, 38K)

35 series aren't really computer sciencey. If you want I can give you a breakdown of the different Intel mos's

I lost most of my childhood friends when we parted ways for college. I chose accounting because I was always good with math and figured I could make a lot of money. I make ok money, but its slowly killing me. There really is more to life then chasing the almighty dollar. All my co workers are catty office pricks that tried to one up each other at every chance and then do coke and bar hop on the weekends. I started gaining weight so I joined a gym, ran into one of my old buddies who joined the marines, joined his group chat with other marines who do fitness together and now I get a steady stream of memes all day that make me want to quit everything and join

sure that would be great, another user posted it in last /MEG/ but Ill take a refresher course. Im mainly leaning towards that or infantry. Infantry because I want to do soldier work, all the high speed lo drag shit, but im also thinking I could get some of that elsewhere and have a useful MOS for when I get out since im now considering an LEO career

how long is the contract for 68k

>you wanna succeed? look at mattis.
>talk about war with iran all the time and jews will write articles about how you never sleep and shave with a kabar.
I wish theatrics like that didn't work.

Ok so first up, 35N/S/P. SIGINT is KINGINT. Can be tac or strat, and N/S can interchange duties sometimes. I was an N that did S work. Sometimes P won't use their language and will do N work. N/S can go basically anywhere, and I mean anywhere. My battalion had dudes in Australia and one of our sister battalions had a handful of people in Utah.

35G is limited duty stations. Imagery stuff, pretty self explanatory. Cushy. Sometimes I had to do 35G work because none were billeted to our unit.

35M. HUMINT. Interrogation means you ask people questions not torture them. Hang out with terps.

35F. Powerpoint bitches, steal other peoples work and never do analysis of their own. Usually stuck as SSO.

35L. Counter intel, desu I don't know much about it.

35T. IT. Not real intel.

If summer is when all the high schoolers go and winter is older people, what is spring/autumn?

Directionless mid 20 somethings

Accurate.

>tfw

what was your experience in intel? Do you get to do any training or integrate with combat arms, or is it mostly sitting in an office doing power points and writing reports

what about the army vs the marines for an intel MOS? Is it the same pipline where I could go in as a marine, have an intel MOS and wrok along side infantry/recon?
Or is their Intel a different set up compared to the army?

future zogbot fags general

Attached: 1551574445525.jpg (643x750, 262K)

I had a great time desu. We were strat but our command arranged for us to train with some of the group guys from time to time. I had a couple opportunities to deploy but didn't take for personal reasons. Loved my section, loved a lot of my work. My section was in an office and usually wrote reports but sometimes did other shit.
I was in a joint environment so I worked alongside all of the branches intel. They go through the same schoolhouses. N is Goodfellow, S is Corry, and P is DLI/Goodfellow. The Marines in my section sucked ass. Intel Marines is a bit fo a joke and it is not the branch to pick for intel. Their intel is smaller amounts of dudes and I don't think they ever do high speed shit.

Bro join US Army Airborne and one up them

KTHNX for the taxe$
