There are still some aircraft outside, one very rough looking F-15, a C-130 that is over sixty years old, an EWAR/AWACS bird, and a C-17.
I really only got photos of the C-17, I think at this point we had been there for close to six hours walking. Also there was a ton of wind that day, probably why those benches were flipped.
what's fun is nearly every plane on display can be made ready to fly pretty easily. fluids and batteries, good to go

Went there last year with my girlfriend (lives in beavercreek, going to wright state). We looked at literally everything in the museum. would recommend/10

I don't understand why museums don't put planes they expect are going to not be maintained on jacks or something. Those tires are gonna be totally ruined within a year after all the air inflates.

I hate the Komet so much it's such a stupid plane I wish it never existed. I mean just look at it. Fuck.

They are probably going to find a spot for it inside in the next few years. Also its one of the original C-17's, those tires have a lot of miles on them.

It's one of the two structural testing airframes. It was never fitted with engines or mission systems but it is effectively constructed as a full B-2 airframe rather than simply being a mockup.
