1) Never build the Panzer III 2) Build Panzer IVs instead from the start 3) Roll the Panther out slowly in 1943 to help with teething. 4) Never build the Tiger I 5) Fall back in 1943 and play defense while preparing for a 1944 offensive
Damn, good thing Hitler didn't have a military genius like you on his staff.
Ian Evans
still get bombed by the americans, production becomes next to impossible as expected, become communist.
Kevin Brown
>don’t waste resources on needless improvements >don’t fight a war on two fronts >don’t lose the Battle of Britain >don’t FUCKING BUILD MEME SUPERWEAPONS
You missed a few.
David Evans
then the economy dies
Parker Martin
1) or at least wait until you are actually ready to fight it if you start one
>1) Never build the Panzer III Was the mainline Anti-Tank Tank as designed until encountering Char Bis/Matildas and having to upgun. They then ran out of turret ring space and swapped to the PIV Chassis. >2) Build Panzer IVs instead from the start Was mainline infantry support tank until #1 happened. >3) Roll the Panther out slowly in 1943 to help with teething. Didn't have a choice with the red tide. The other option would've been to essentially halt production and only focus PIV/TD variants. >4) Never build the Tiger I Was already being designed/produced from 1937. Real world experiences from France fighting Char Bis/Matildas and Barborossa fighting T-34/KV-1 directly lead to the final Tiger I. It HAD to be made. >5) Fall back in 1943 and play defense while preparing for a 1944 offensive Debatable. Would make more sense to allow breakout of Stalingrad and not allow the 6th Army to be wiped out.
Jaxson Anderson
>4) Never build the Tiger I You're coflating Tiger I and Tiger II. The stupidly overengineered monstruosity was the II, user. The I had the mobility of a medium inside the firepower and armor of a heavy - just like the US's first actual MBT (which also was a heavy with an engine powerful enough to move like a medium). Krauts were on the verge of developing the MBT before the Bongs did (the Centurion, basically a medium with the firepower and armor of a heavy). But then they abandoned that path of design and moved onto conventional AF heavies.
Parker King
OP here, I actually did mean to write Tiger I.
Jace Anderson
Tiger II***
Autocorrect
Wyatt Russell
Points 1 and 2 is exactly what I'm saying. The PIV F2 should have been the main anti tank role from the start.
Daniel Reyes
*There I just prolonged the war so Berlin gets nuked too FTFY
Kayden Scott
aaaaaand HOW did we come to that conclusion? Oh right by shit actually happening and forcing change. Instead of hindsight lol reasons, lulz just trust me guys.
Brody Gonzalez
What the fuck are you talking about?
Evan Martinez
tanks weren't the problem. Lack of tanks was a problem, but wasn't the problem.
Liam Allen

Then you run out of gas as the Wehrmacht started having fuel shortages in late '41 due to the Reichs oil supply being totally inadequate.
>if they focused more on North Africa instead of sending the meme squad, this wouldn’t be a problem. Germany was also developing synthetic oil plants by mid war. Just as well, a focus on the Arab front would have been able to link Persian oil. The caucuses were a fucking meme >5) I’ve been saying this for years but no one ever talks about it
Anthony Green
Idk why I green texted the first paragraph. Ignore my autism
John Campbell
>implying Germany can afford to just build Panzer IVs Just build more Sturmgeschütz III, poorfag krautboche.
Cooper Richardson
1) Find oil in Bavaria 2)??? 3) Profit!
Grayson Murphy
You are unironically correct. Take up a defensive posture in Russia and bleed out the Soviets, while racing for the Middle East through Egypt with more than just the meme squad. Pray that you can consolidate North Africa before the US gets going.
1) Take Malta ASAP. 2) Pick up the Twins and drop them in the Med via overland route, and some meme cruisers. 3) ship the Sixth Army to North Africa and wipe up the British. 4) Tell Vichy France and Franco to fuck off and take Gibraltar. 5) Fortify the western shores of North Africa. 6) Steamroll through Syria and Iran. 7) Pressure Turkey into joining Axis. 8) Wrap all this up by end of 1943.
Austin Butler
lol if you think making a couple of decisions about something irrelevant as the type of tank in production will win the war, you can't change the realities of material and economic inferiority
I think user s trying to say this: >"Because how would they know what works and what doesn't"
Angel Moore
You forgot to add that instead of genociding Eastern Europeans, treat them nice and recruit them into meat shield legions. Eastern Euros hated the commies for how The Red Menace treated them
Juan Gonzalez
>tanks meme All those wasted resources would've been better used for artillery and AT guns.

Nolan Martinez
>Never build the Panzer III That's how nazi war machine devolves to the level of Great Britain with infantry support machines and some cruiser shit. >Build Panzer IVs instead from the start With 75mm short-barrel cannon? Pfff. >Roll the Panther out slowly in 1943 to help with teething. Nah, they have already did this and failed >Never build the Tiger I Or just build a panther/tiger crossover with 88 >all back in 1943 and play defense while preparing for a 1944 offensive As if they had enough resources.
Still they would loose the war.
Carter Cruz
6th Army lacked the capability to break out once surrounded. Many of the horses had been shipped away to be fed elsewhere, gasoline and ammo were short. They were trying to fly in gas and ammo to break out. Soviets got their airforce's shit together and shot down or damaged the transports.
Proposed Panzer IV conversions-some retained the flat transmission roof like in order to save weight others just moved the entire forward assembly up for simplicity at the cost of weight like
Anthony Roberts
Pz I through IV were basically concurrent projects, they were not evolutions of the tank, but four types serving four different purposes.
Brandon Allen
1) Use all the French factories to build french tanks ASAP.
2) Steamroll the britsh forces on Dunkirk, this would make UK sign a peace treaty.
3) Send winter outfits for the troops on the Russian front.
Here you go, I just won the war.
Asher Reyes
Or dont invade the USSR, focus on the Med, and goad the USSR into invading Turkey, and then use Turkish ports to float your army equipment, along with Soviet rail, into Turkey for the invasion of the Middle East.
We consider Slavs to be white on this board.
Mason Russell
the amount of team killing would be fucking astronomical if panther actually ended up looking like this
Jayden Nguyen
>Take Malta ASAP. operation herkules was hamstrung after the debacle that was crete and constant supply shortages delayed it further
paratroopers would take huge casualties against even lightly defended areas and a seaborne follow up would be met by British fleet
the only way you can take malta is by taking air superiority which historically did not happen
Dominic Barnes
Yeah, for the Soviets
Evan Ortiz
>You forgot to add that instead of genociding Eastern Europeans, treat them nice and recruit them into meat shield legions. >Eastern Euros hated the commies for how The Red Menace treated them One of Nazi Germany's greatest mistakes IMO. The Bolshevik revolution was as much an ethnic overthrow as it was economic. The revolution was the triumph of middle-class Eastern European Jews over the Slavs who inhabited the upper and lower classes. Hitler's big schtick was supposed to be opposing the Jewish-Bolshevik regime but he then went and shit on the slavic victims instead of absorbing them into his force.
Gavin Lopez
The Bolshevik Revolution was planted by anglosphere to topple Romanov Empire along with initiatives that threatened emerging Pax Americana. Like Trans Siberian Railway, or actually decent standards for workers. And the Hitler's rise to power, sponsored by IG Farben USA was subsequent plot to further ruin Continental Europe. I like Germans, but damn, are they fucking delusional about their role in both world wars.
Sebastian Cox
These threads are so stupid. Yeah I'm sure the German high command was so incompetent that they missed obvious things such as >lol just win the battles instead of losing them >just send troops winter supplies >just build advanced weapons and skip the previous generations that gave you the knowledge and experience to build the advanced ones >just build more tanks Haha >just take Moscow, so easy
It's almost as if the reasons Germany lost are a lot more complex and you are all just spouting off memes and don't actually have any understanding of the war at all.
Carson Martin
>start a war with the Commonwealth >start a war with the Soviet Union >start a war with America >fight all these wars simultaneously There I just did the most retarded thing in world history
Jonathan Torres
How much overlap was there? I knew the Mk. 1 was for training, II was for going after infantry, and III was for going after other tanks. When in all of this did they decide they need the IV? much less a fucking monster like the Tiger?
Samuel Morris
As you said PzI was a trainer, PzII was a stop-gag for numbers as III and IV numbers came online. The Tiger was actually originally started design/production in 1937 as a breakthrough tank.As I stated earlier in the thread, the Tiger became what it was based off experiences in France and Barbarossa, original it was only designed to be about 30t iirc.
All this really came out of Heinz Guderians vision of armored warfare.
Ryder Mitchell
III and IV existed because the vision of the time for tanks was that you needed two different guns for lobbing HE and defeating armor, hence two different tanks. It never occured to the Germans that one gun could do both roles. People can say what they want about the T-34, but the fact that it combined both roles into a single gun was revolutionary at the time.
Brody Hill
>focus on tanks >western allied airforces carpet bomb you into oblivion
Chase Nguyen
Pz I wasnt actually built as a trainer, it was meant to see actual, though limited, combat they were even given an expensive nickel-steel alloy for armor, an unneeded expense for a trainer
while it spent most of its career as a training tank, or as a stopgap combat vehicle, it was not built as intended solely for training
Adam Taylor
Oh good mass produced fire starters. How about no
Isaiah Smith
desu fampais the Panzer III was a perfectly good design only limited by it's turret ring
>build a Panzer III with sloped front armor and a widened hull, mount a 75mm gun Better than a Panzer IV, cheaper than a Panther
Nathan Green
How do you plan to beat the Royal Navy in the med with just the Italians?
The Italian navy was having problems supply just the Afrika Korps and their own North African forces, because the Italians simply don't have the merchant marine or the fleet to escort them. Even if the Royal Navy's Med Fleet was on the back foot for a while, they can afford to reinforce with the Home fleet. While the US Army was a basket-case in 1942, the US Navy was not and the Atlantic fleet had more than enough capital ships to make up the difference.
Not possible since that would mean you can't do Generalplan Ost, which was always the end goal.
Camden Howard
>build a Panzer III with a widened hull You just described a Panther IV
Landon Murphy
you have, at best, only guaranteed that Germany is the first country to be nuked
Thomas Butler
this
Alexander Harris
No, the Panzer III was simpler to build and had one less axle
Robert Gomez
>and swapped to the PIV Chassis benis in bagina :DDDD
It is said by anyone with half a brain that a good general studies logistics instead of tactics. But that isn't the truth. A good general studies grand strategy. Which is the combination of politics, wartime economics and military-industrial complex.
If you study grand strategy, you'll quickly realize Axis were 100% doomed from the start with zero chance to win in any scenario, even including most fictional ones like magically replacing all German tanks with modern ones.
Why? Because Axis economy is nothing compared Allied one. They never had and never had a chance of getting resources like oil, manpower, rare metals, and many others. Once you ascend to this higher level of irony you'll realize making heavy tanks was actually a good idea, because Germany never had resources or industry, or manpower to instead produce a large number of more practical tanks.
Many mistakes in strategy and operations could have been avoided by Germany, but the most it could ever hope for is dragging out the war long enough to become the first country to be nuked (German nuclear program was also doomed from the start, look it up)
I don't have to prove any of what I said because this is the opinion of every single modern historian, and you were the one who blurted out this nonsene which is one step above "Germany should have built 1000 Maus tanks and pushed Allies back from within its borders"
This would go against the very core of National Socialism and raical theory that started the war in the first place. These policies came from the fabric of Nazi party and German society.
He knows what's up
Germany had a very small window of opportunity (which it should never had taken) after which surrounding countries' military-industrial complexes became so powerful it would instantly snap them in half.
Hunter Anderson
Couldn't have said it better my self user
Colton Martin
Germany actually had a chance until the US got involved. Once you start counting US resources and GDP you realize that we could outproduce almost all the other nations combined.
If you think a single tank would win the war, eat a bullet
Xavier Myers
>don’t waste resources on needless improvements Never enough resources to compete with Allies anyway, might as well try to save more German lives with better armor
>don’t fight a war on two fronts also answers The day Germany invaded Poland (which was unavoidable, being the very core of Lebenseaum expansion ideology) it rose to the top of every country in the world. No matter what, British Empire (meaning its close ally America, which was already becoming a hyper-power bent on controlling the entire world) and Soviet Union would fight to the death to show Germany its place and prove to everyone they were the real superpowers and no one could challenge the state of affairs in Europe. Same reason anyone who tries to significantly expand his territory or get nuclear weapons today is quickly sanctioned to oblivion and/or NATOed.
>don't lose Battle of Britain Just as hopeless as war for Germany in general. British had a very good Air Force industry and infrastructure, plus advanced radars and far superior computer technology (see Enigma cracking) which allowed them to know exactly what Germans were planning or going to do. Only operation more hopeless against Britain would be Sealion, which if it happened would fail and backfire so badly V-E day would happen on 1st of January 1941.
>don’t FUCKING BUILD MEME SUPERWEAPON
Might as well try and spin the roulette wheel hoping to get a scientific breakthrough. They never had a choice of course, what with Allies having all the best scientists, industry and resourced, but it was better than trying to compete toe-to-toe with war economy an order of magnitude more powerful than you.
Lincoln Howard
ok “retard”
Christian Perry
You are my hero user.
Jordan Perez
It was a miracle Axis ever got so far or lasted as long as they did in the first place. Nothing could save them
Bentley Bell
I love you user
Ethan Watson
thank you for teaching retards the obvious. It is a shame that there will always be new retards and we must keep teaching this message. Such is our duty.
Logan Hughes
Those dog bombs would actually work as intended
Nolan Morgan
>manage to make the Third Reich last longer >August 1945 arrives >Berlin and Munich are nuked gg faggot, you managed to have Germany BTFO'd even harder than in real life.
>it was da joos >Slavs in the upper classes Half of the nobility was German, and the people hated them because of that.
Christian Phillips
OP isn't necessarily a retard, maybe just underage. I used to think like that when I was a kid. Though there was no internet back then, so today's children have less of an excuse for ignorance. Still, it takes wisdom and dilligence to learn, both qualities naturally missing in youth. I remember what it was like to feel like you know all the answers, to have all the confidence in the world. Good times, for though surely I was arrogant, I was also blissfully ignorant to the nature of life and the universe we ihabit.
Gavin Gutierrez
It would have gone against Himmler's version of National Socialism. Alfred Rosenberg (who wrote "the Myth of the 20th Century") and his theoretical school considered the Slavs to be Aryan, but they were sidelined as the SS gained power.
Leo King
Nazi ideology is hodgrpode of pseudoscience that supportred expansionism in any way it could and didn't have any logic behind that. For example, Chechens (look them up) were considered Aryan (which is double hilarious if you know Chechens actually have a lot of Slavic blood in them, and Slavs have a lot of Scandinavian blood from viking conquests, just like most Europeans). Arabs and Islam was fine according to Hitler personally. How does that work? It doesn't. Same sort of bullshit as any populist wartime ideology - left, right or center.
Evan Cruz
Are you being retarded on purpose, or is it natural talent? Hitler himself said in Mein Kampf that he wanted Slavs to be enslaved or eradicated to make space for the Germanic people's Lebensraum.
This. When I was a kid, I didn't have an Internet access, and had tons of books written in the 60s to 80s about 1337awesome German tanks and planes and about how the Germans were always a fluke away from winning (which were, as I learned later on, written by totally-not-butthurt-German-veterans), so I thought they could have won the war in some way. And then I learned about economics, industry, logistics, and understood that the Third Reich lost the war as soon as they tried to fight something bigger than the UK.
Ethan Robinson
This line of thinking only half powered by German loosers. The rest is Allied propaganda, trying to make the enemy look much stronger than they were, to explain away their blunders in the early war. German Reich wouldn't have survived to 1940 if Allies didn't have their head so far up their ass
Logan Jenkins
Yeah, and there's that of course, if you're an Allied veteran or politician, it sounds cooler to say "we stopped the mighty German war machine" than "lol that dumb ass country that's a regional power at best attacked half of the world at the same time and got its shit kicked in". And yes, even the1939 offensive in Saarland by the French army and its manpower issues could have heavily crippled the Third Reich by taking its almost undefended industrial regions on the Rhine while the Wehrmacht was busy fucking with Poland. If the French leadership didn't shit the bed and jacked off in the corner, that is. It's actually easier to find realistic alternate history scenarios that have Germany fucked through and through before 1941 than ones where the Axis powers win lol.
Michael Perry
Doesn't matter what tanks you build when you don't have the oil to drive them.
Caleb Taylor
The germans aren't winning world war 2 just because you slightly adjust some tank designs. Declaring war on the three biggest economic powers is just asking for trouble.
Jose Jenkins
>2) Steamroll the britsh forces on Dunkirk, this would make UK sign a peace treaty A. They already tried this. It didnt work.
B. That would only piss them off and get America involved sooner.
Daniel Perez
>trying to compete toe-to-toe with war economy an order of magnitude more powerful than you. best part they did all this while trying to mantain the illusion of a regular economy and bleeding out all their occupied territories instead of commiting fully into a war economy since the very beginning I know this would have changed very little in the end, but it is funny to consider that either because of unchecked autism or massive overconfidence on the ubermensch aryan spirit they refused to recognize they needed a full on war economy while taking on america and the soviet union at the same fucking time
Robert Miller
>3) Send winter outfits for the troops on the Russian front. >send them in horses because you're too retarded and poor to use trucks >horses starve and get shot in the way to the eastern front >winter outfits arrive by summer
