Which companys and models should I look at for a bolt action for deer and elk this year?

Also what caliber? I think .308 30-06 are standard but I see 6.5 creedmor is the new hotness lately

It's especially ironic that the basement dwelling youtube shitposter is telling Ian to go talk to South Africans AFTER IAN JUST GOT BACK FROM SOUTH AFRICA. I wonder which South Africans the shitposter spoke with?

Wtf I love children being force fed boiling water now

I believe he was referring to that abomination of an enfield, you twat

The 3rd most prolific rifle cartridge in the US behind 308 and 30-06

you should definitely get a 6.5 for hunting elk. what could go wrong? mindless copycats are all doing it, why shouldn't you?

Remington 700 if made before 2006. You should definitely be able to find some good used ones at gun stores and pawn shops.

>Calibers
.308, .30-06, and 6.5 Creed are all good options for deer and elk. If you go with a short action round like .308, 6.5, .260, 7mm-08, etc. FOR elk-sized game, make sure you use a premium high weight retaining bullet like a Barnes TSX/TTSX, Hornady GMX, Federal Trophy Bonded Tip, Nosler Partition, the list goes on. Don't buy into the magnum meme. For a good all-around cartridge that will take any big game in North America, .30-06 is probably best due to huge bullet selection, although .270 is also good.

And for the love of God don't buy a shit optic. You'll hear people say spend the same amount/50% more/twice as much on your optic as you do your rifle. Definitely do this if you can.

Don't listen to fudds that talk shit about 6.5 Creedmoor. It outperforms 308 in EVERY WAY, and the math proves it. I hunt deer with the 6.5 Creedmoor, and the 6.5 Grendel, and some guys I know are taking Elk with the 6.5 Creedmoor. I live in Oregon, and I can show you my wall or racks...

Are you high?

Another delusional 308 faggot. I use 6.5 creed, 6.5 grendel, and 6.5-300 to hunt you dumb nigger.

i use 6.5x55 swedish you faggot
