I do this way too often with gun and bike parts. Use the hot air dry selection and they all come out nice and dry.

Boiling water.
It washes out all of the coke, heats the metal so everything can evaporate, and cleans it too.
Hit it with some isopropyl alcohol afterwards to make sure all of the water is evaporated if you're worried about rust.
Re-oil and you should be good to go.

Take it apart as much as possible while it's still wet and go after the spots you see. If you have compressed air, an air blower or air compressor, just run each module under water and blast the crap out of them with air to get every last molecule of water out and re-oil everything.
