In the ep and on the wiki. Also they're genocidal maniacs who'd probably try to move on Earth once they realize there's a world on the other side of the gate that isn't a complete wreck. Just because they weren't using the gate before doesn't mean they couldn't in the future, they were working with technology more advanced than ours, if they wanted to find a way through they could.

Neither Wikia nor GateWorld make reference to them being clones and when O'Neill said "They're all the same" he clearly meant "They're all white" since the pictures are clearly not all the same person. Alan even says to Jack that he doesn't like Teal'c initially because he's "not like us" meaning "nigger", not "non-clone" since Jack clearly isn't a clone
