My rifle used to have a flower on it but it got ground off a long time ago. Current goal is to get a nice bayonet for it.

After two years I have finally shot my Swedes.

Also shot M91 Carcano infantry rifle. PPU let me down; the only thing I got that could even be called a group came from my last 6 round of Norma. The PPU was all over for windage; 139gr FMJBT was much higher than the 123gr SP.

What's a good price for a Nagant revolver?
Is 500 too much? 300?
They look so sexy I want to get one.

G98/40 from the last time I took it out. I'm gonna try and take my mosin out this week and get some pretty pictures of it

Are type 38s supposed to have two holes on the receiver?

Everybody knows there are three holes, user.

M16s and M4s have a third hole in the receiver for the autosear. It's incredibly illegal to have a third hole without the paperwork. It's a joke among AR-15 owners.

Do it

Just answer the fucking question

Well now I ain't gonna answer your easily-googleable question.

Alright I'll buy it, bend the bolt, drill and tap it, mount a 30$ scope, and post it here

While I disagree with your decision it's your gun and your money wasted. No skin off my nose.

Yes

I'm assuming that the two holes are like pic related. If so, then yes, that's normal for all 6.5x50SR guns (Type 38, type 44, type 30, etc.). One hole like Means that's chambered in 7.7x58 (Type 99, type 99 sniper, paratrooper type 99 variants).

Thanks friend

You're welcome. Type 38s are fun to shoot and the carbines are quite handy. Just be lucky that you're not like me who's been lusting for a Type 30 recently. It's so hard to find one in nice shape and my wallet says no but my body says yes.

Strategy > tactics. My rifle will always get to the battlefield first.

Ha! But you see, a shorter rifle is easier for the Italian man to retreat with, and takes up less space during travel to transport to the other front when you inevitably change sides!

They're beautiful rifles. I loved shooting mine for the first time.

No answer in the last thread so reposting
Is taking a standard or takedown M97 and getting a 20" barrel and adding a heat shield + bayonet lug and acceptable form of bubba? I want a trench gun but can only find the standard M97s and Featherlight M37s.

If you're cutting down an original barrel to 20 inches then that's a bit too bubba, if not you're fine.

What about getting a new 20" barrel for it instead? I'd be keeping the original somewhere safe.

It's more than just sticking a heat shield on the barrel; the heat shield/bayonet mount attaches the end of the magazine to the barrel.

That would be even better. The general standard for bubbadry is if you're doing something permanent to an original part that isn't already fucked, then you're being bubba.

And this makes it non-reversible? I'd go and buy a new barrel to do this to. Not the original 1900s barrel.

'Morning, anons.

Every [SA] Carcano I have seen in the past six months has been horrifically bubba'd.

Anyone git a discord link? last one got zucced for selling guns, since diacord pedo furries live in san francisco they consider that a no no.

Based

How do I buy something from gray blanket man without getting sent on a ruse cruise? I've heard people claim he shill bids, falsely advertises stuff (e.g. gun says original finish but it was refinished), and so on.

You do your research on what the item you're bidding on should look like, you set your bidding limit, and YOU STICK TO IT.

I know that, but for example he has a bunch of Arisakas for sale and his tiny grainy photos don't let me check for rounded edges (AKA a common sign of refinishing).

Ask for better pics. If he doesn't oblige then you bounce.

>2019
>Gunbroker still doesn't support 4k UHD images
>Gunbroker STILL doesn't force people to use the immediate checkout and instead uses an incredibly risky "lol trust me dude" system
>Gunbroker gives you zero insurance, while Ebay will pay out of their own pockets to protect you
>Gunbroker still doesn't provide a proper search system and relies on an ancient search engine

Good; bad; they're the guys with the guns.

Attached: Finn_watching_shit_burn.jpg (1054x1488, 500K)

What sellers should I avoid on Gunbroker and why haven't they been banned yet for their offences?

Can you take a picture of your 98/40 extractor? My 35M broke and i want to see how similar they are.

No, that's active rust. You lazy fags that do zero maintenance because MUH PATINA are retards. The guns breaking down and you're letting it.

Discord got shoahed again?

>tfw got a M95M with a busted extractor for like $80
>tfw extractors for it may as well be a myth

Well I finally identified my Mk III*. It's not just some fixed-up bubba job that had new mismatched furniture thrown on like I thought. It's actually a BSA Dispersal factory rifle and all the mismatch comes from the fact that the dispersal factories were often cobbling together parts from other factories, especially with production bottlenecks like the wood furniture.

Attached: No1Mk3star.jpg (2852x2185, 666K)

I'm sure a good gunsmith can make you a new one.

We're laying low with it at the moment.
Mannlichers have delicate extractors apparently.

>We're laying low with it at the moment

What happened this time?

Attached: IMG_20161208_133902.jpg (3006x4072, 2.24M)

How much should I be paying for a longboi K11? There's one at a local shop I can get for around $350 (all matching, nice wood, shiny bore, no rust, etc).

Probably just Discord blanket banning any and every server remotely related to Jow Forums for PR reasons. Wait a month or so and they'll forget about it.

Will I have to post feet again?

Attached: Guns.jpg (540x960, 134K)

>butchered G43
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

You get good deals on them though. Only paid $500. Then another $500 or more in parts lol.

Attached: IMG_0249.jpg (4608x2369, 2.02M)

I'm more confused why anyone would chop it down. Chopping it down means the gas piston and such are all exposed. Why even cut it down if it looks nothing like "muh durr huntin rifle"?

Could of been duffle cut and they just lost them. Story I was told was it was found in the wall of a house that was being torn down for development. Why it was missing the ENTIRE trigger assembly and magazine is anyone's guess though. If you've never had to assemble a G43 trigger I hope you never have to because that shit sucked.
