That’s why you manufacture your own! You can buy any kind of receiver you want and have a machine shop make you a type 56 front sight and either assembled it yourself if you have the right equipment or ship the parts off to a reputable AK manufacturer

Got one. Mk II, all matching, British but went to Nepal. They are very nice rifles with interesting but simple workings. The recoil wasn't as bad as I was anticipating when I first shot it, still strong, but it didn't knock me on my ass or anything.

Haha. Watching some of his videos was where I was getting my admiration of them after seeing Zulu. Watching them shooting, seeing the reloading process, it looked very satisfying but I didn't think I would have one anytime soon. Then sometime last year, my local gun store had one and I was surprised to see it. I looked at it, went home, found reloading dies on Amazon, ordered them, then went back to the store the next day to buy the rifle. Another store had some ammo and I got 30 rounds, which I shot and got like 1/3 hangfire and 1/3 dud. Still haven't reloaded for it.
