22lr has very little recoil, so follow-up shots would be easy, and they make drum mags for 10/22s. 22lr is really cheap, too, do you could buy tons and tons of it.

M240 for 1 since it's probably what I'm most familiar with as far as operating machine guns. And it doesn't really need to be crew served if you are fast at changing your own barrels. Something like a taurus judge for 2 since it's going to be within 1 meter

Picking .22lr instead of .223, gl needing well over 5 shots per person if you are lucky, people have survived being shot well over 10+ pistol rounds so there could be the outlier in a person in the mob taking 15-20 rounds of .22lr. Garbage choice for a mob
