...not if you want in-stock parts tho.
Pic related
I spoke too soon....they do have disconnectors in stock, but that's about all. But hey, the pistol is only like $150, you can just buy another one, right?
They have a good number of parts in stock. A combination of numrich and ebay could likely find you any parts you would really need. The most fragile parts on these guns are the firing pin, which there are new production runs of, and extractors which are on numrich and in stock. Also yes, they are like $200 so if anything you could just buy a new one. They really are great guns.
No one told you about the guy in Spain who bought out all their inventory when star arms closed down? Is he still alive?
In all seriousness, aside from the parts thing, they are amazing pistols. I admit that I have owned 2 of them over the years
No ive never heard of this
Look into it, he was on the gun forums years ago, with the handle "Star". He charged reasonable prices and would ship international. Dunno if he is still around though, I think the factory went out in 1988, so he has to be an older guy now
Huh. Thanks Ill take a look. I cant imagine much more going to shit other than the extractor and the firing pin though.
When was your pistol made? These things had an INCREDIBLE run of manufacture, and most of what is out there was police and military contracts rather than civilian sales, so most have been stored in armories and used as service weapons, so there's no telling what could fail. As a side note, I know there are israeli police surplus ones out there....did you get a jew gun?
Based Model 10-poster
STAR BM's are amazing guns, especially at the price point and there is significant historical value if your sentimental,

I have a Star Super A in 9mm Largo, I heard back in the late 90s there were drop in barrels to convert it to 9mm Para. Anyone have a lead on those?
