Nice avant garde ash clone.

Once my kac lower gets here I am done with building ar-15s. Should I get a LMT or a scar17 for a 308?

Block 1 is love
Block 1 is life

>*kac upper*

Same

I'll link it here too.
Is a milsurp Aimpoint M2 a good starter red dot sight for a mk18/sbr? I've only had experience with ACOGs.

my AR is best AR

Attached: 001001011.jpg (1080x1080, 204K)

Basic bitch AR-15. 5/10 at best.

Yes

Attached: 100_0212.jpg (2909x4421, 3.1M)

Which KAC upper did you get?

>11.5

Yes, I am an autistic financial analyst

where is there a KAC can for $1k that’s in stock?

I've got all the parts for my first rifle either with me or on the way in the mail. I'm excited and a little nervous.

What was the hardest part of building your rifle? To me, the trigger looks the most trickiest and has me a little worried. Everything else seems relatively straight forward.

There's a video from larry potterfield about how to the the build and he makes it super easy.
It's almost like having your grandpa there giving you step by step instructions.

On that note you don't need all the tools he says you need, but they make it easy like in the videos. You can wing most of it.

Hope you guys like getting asked the same questions all the time. Carbine or midlength gas for 14.5? Is one or the other better for suppressor use, without compromising reliability unsuppressed?

Midlength is good to 13.7"

Attached: 6d8f4g68df4g6e8r4ge6r8gr4e4.jpg (2328x1588, 1.54M)

Put magazines in and try again

Thanks mane, the advice on this board has gone a long way for me.

Which reticle do you have on your vortex?

Acss

Guys.

When are the new Badger C1 mounts coming out?

Attached: IMG_20190214_135916.jpg (3024x4032, 1.98M)

Where do we all order cheap ammo from these days?

>looks the most trickiest and has me a little worried
the only thing to screw up is putting the spring on upside-down. and if you put the spring in upside down, just take it apart, turn the spring over again, and put it back together.
people a lot dumber than you can do this shit just fine. you only need to be smarter than a spring.

carbine length kicks harder and wear shit out sooner, but will eat literally any shit ammo you feed it.

barrel?

Anyone here have a LWRC DI? Trying to decide between one of these or a Larue Stealth. Just looking to get a do it all type rifle as I'm an AK guy traditionally.

Attached: Larue Stealth.jpg (1024x768, 832K)

Yes. Just make sure it works. Turn it on, adjust the windage and elevation to the extremes so you know the dot moves and you're good.
$240 with a mount I assume.

So I'm fairly new to the AR scene and AK scene.
I'm not sure what I want to do next with my ar with furniture wise. I've been wanting to go to an outside range but it's too god damn cold lately so the range I can only use is 25 meters. I want to change the handguard bad but not sure what to.

hehehe wrong pictureeeeeeeeeeee

Attached: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.jpg (1504x2016, 457K)

Thoughts on the Colt AR-15 A2 HBAR? I might be able to trade into one for my first AR. Anything to look out for?

Attached: 17059247_1.jpg (1200x401, 48K)

the lwrc is a better value. weird ass spiral barrel aside, that would be my pick hands down

Okay so I want to build a .300 Blackout AR that resembles an AS VAL. How should I go about it?

Olt HBAR is bretty nice

Attached: IMG_20170815_142844332.jpg (1152x864, 238K)

Can you elaborate on that? Is it just better fit and finish? I hear a lot of good on Larue for their accuracy but I don't shoot matches or anything

What vortex scope is that?

the big bonus with the lwrc is the ambi lower. its also half the cost but has all the "features" of the larue.
larue does have a reputation for accuracy, but having never shot one, i can only take larue fanboy's at their word.
i think larue is dated, they were popular once upon a time, but not any more unless you want meat rub and bumper stickers. good luck with your choice, either are fine rifles but id pick lwrc for sure

Is this any good?
>inb4 poorfag
Yeah, I can’t spend 6 grand to put an arch on all my guns.
Fucking ridiculous for the price, I bet their manufacturing cost is less than 50 and fuck those kikes for putting a patent on tritium illumanfed scopes. That should not be patentable.

I met Ash at a local gunshop today. He is an absolute unit, he is way bigger than I thought he would be. Nice guy though.

... No. an airsoft optic is not going to be any good on an actual rifle.
Is being stupid as fuck a requisite for being poor? Jesus

scar

Did you get any pics?

>no it definitely won’t work
>no I don’t have any proof of that
>MUH AIRSOFT
Fuck off, brainlet. I’ve heard mixed reports on this optic. lmao you actually think quality costs you 900? No, it costs you 40$ plus good goy military buys toilet seat covers for 10 grand and 40$ optics for 1700$ Mark up.

No, but his mom was with him.

Thanks for the advice. Leaning LWRC now.

>Is being stupid as fuck a requisite for being poor?
>poorfag emits even more screeching retard noises
I guess that's a resounding "Yes".

Attached: c4a.jpg (238x192, 14K)

>frogposting brainlet
Mommy and daddy’s money doesn’t count as your own wealth, you know that, right?

>quality costs $900
Double that and you are about at the starting point

Yup. Fuck that spring. I screwed that up on my first build and couldn’t figure out why my gun was a bolt action

You bad talking Trijicon? Those fighting words partner.

Attached: F71BC96E-2853-484A-A913-BB59E639D1DB.jpg (2208x1656, 1.04M)

Fucking retard. Airshit doesn’t hold zero. If you really want to be poor, get a used holosun.

>1.3 lbs
>Aluminum
Big fucking doubt

Attached: Screenshot_20190327-221527_Brave.jpg (1080x259, 62K)

Yeah I am. A simple optic costs no where near 1700 to make, they’re greedy kikes selling it for 1700 when it’s sub 50 to manufacture.

>sub 50 to manufacture
C O P E
They literally use radioactive material in their scopes. The glass is extremely high quality. The glass has to be etched. You don’t know what you’re talking about. Trijicon is made in America as well so there are no mass production sweatshops that can pump them out

Poorfags
When will they ever learn?

>He thinks precision lenses are cheap to manufacture

They definitely don't cost $1700 to make, but you're a retard if you think it only costs $50 to manufacture.

LMAO
They use a tiny bit of tritium you imbecile. Do you honestly fucking think a simple aluminum casing, some fiber optic cable and tritium gas, and a prism lense costs anywhere near 1700? That it costs more than a fucking computer? And an expensive one at that.

SIG 556 AR

>1700 is expensive for a computer
The absolute STATE of poorfags

Attached: 1481061056116.jpg (300x300, 9K)

I wouldn’t say it costs them $50 to make, but you always pay more for the R&D, Trijicon does have a great warranty and CS and the optic is literally bomb proof. If you want a decent optic just get a $130 holosun the Ukrainian mil. Uses them, it’s $30 more than that chinisium facog but it’s actually combat proven. I work construction and my boss’s best friend owns my LGS, so I got my Acog from doing some work in his house.

>expensive computer
>$1700
TOP KEK

You do realize that tritium is one of the most expensive substances on the planet and costs something like $30k/gram right?

Attached: 1550820138261.png (545x545, 537K)

Brainlet, you realize that they use an incredibly tiny amount of tritium?

Evening, bitches

Attached: 20170929_183145_HDR-1.jpg (2681x1865, 1.06M)

>Paying anywhere close to MSRP for an ACOG

Attached: IMG_20190321_155604.jpg (4048x3036, 2.83M)

>you realize that they use an incredibly tiny amount of tritium?
I do, just pointing out that you're hand waving away something that is extremely expensive to acquire, store, and work with by claiming they could make an ACOG for $50. In addition to being extremely expensive tritium is very good a diffusing through materials like hydrogen, making it really shitty to store and use in instruments and that's glossing over how regulated it is as a rare, radioactive substance. I have experience working with helium in lab settings and it's an absolute bitch, I'd assume tritium would have the same problems.

Attached: 1547679962041.png (1024x1024, 1.18M)

How much did you pay?

I recently bought the LWRC DI competition model. It's real nice and I get to be the range asshole with that 4 port muzzle break. Waiting for optics and it'll be all set.

I traded a vortex 1-6 strike eagle that I scooped on a black Friday deal and $200 cash

You got a better deal than trAsh

PST GEN II 2-10

EBR-4

Put benis in mouth and try again.

Attached: 5h4e68rg4e6r8g4e6r8g4.jpg (1950x1240, 1.15M)

If you don't care about it being possibly stolen you can pick them up around military bases for $500-700.

Can someone educate me on steel cased ammo?

My range doesn't allow steel-core ammo. Is steel cased ammo steel cored?

I'd like to be able to shoot steel cased ammo due to its price, but now I'm not sure, or I'm confused, if I'm allowed to shoot brands like Wolf, Tula, Brown Bear, etc at the range.

>Mfw mine shipped from Columbus GA

Attached: mfw.jpg (475x475, 16K)

Tula/wolf probably has bimetal jackets even though they aren't steel core. Since a magnet will stick to them, most indoor ranges won't allow it

Got it. I'll just stick with brass ammo until I end up going to an outdoor range, I guess.

Speaking of outdoor ranges, I've never been to one. How do they differ from indoor ranges? Do you have to bring your own targets and shit or do they typically sell them like an indoor range would?

Steel case loaded with non-magnetic bullets is a thing, just show the range the box or pull a projectile and show it's non-magnetic.

sgammo.com/product/223-556mm-ammo/1000-round-case-223-rem-55-grain-fmj-tulammo-steel-case-brass-jacket-non-magn

>I have experience working with helium in lab settings and it's an absolute bitch, I'd assume tritium would have the same problems.
Derp. Meant to type hydrogen.

The Brass Jews get mad when they have to sort

Good, fuck the brass jews, they're already stealing from me in the first place, they can deal with sorting out steel cases if they want free brass that badly.

I would rather not have an trAsh tier optic

Sup /arg/, I'm working on a 12.5" 5.56 build that I'm going to eventually suppress, but I'm stuck on barrels. I've narrowed my choices down to the BA 12.5" Govt, BCM 12.5" Govt, and the DD 12.5" CHF Govt, which do you think is the better barrel?

Attached: 1553573989481.gif (379x600, 1.86M)

Both sufficient
How nice you want?

I was aiming for a middle to upper end build and leaning towards the BCM barrel but found the DD while doing research on parts. Is the DD barrel being CHF worth the extra $70 over the BCM?

Attached: 1550059729964.jpg (500x750, 216K)

DD makes good shit, but it’s a bit overpriced IMO, they also shilled for gun control. BCM>DD

Attached: F7D67C05-67E8-49F3-970A-3AC0169D6DD9.jpg (4032x3024, 2.32M)

>DD makes good shit, but it’s a bit overpriced IMO, they also shilled for gun control
Well shit, didn't know that. BCM it is, I don't support grabbers.

Attached: Jelousy.png (600x800, 629K)

BCM is the preferable choice

To the guy in the last thread that called me a "college kid"

Is that supposed to be an insult? You outted yourself as a little coping poorfag who can't get laid. I'm the alpha here. Now fuck off twerp before I beat your ass and I know that will make you hard. You poorfaggots are all the same you get off on it because you spend your whole lives trying to be gucci but you know deep down your rightful place is to be broke as four flat tires. And thats what I'm going to do is dominate you. If you had a good/wife I could easily take her from you. It'd be a joke, no contest. Id get her ass bouncing on my cock in an hour probably less. I bet you like to think about that huh poorl cuck? Your wife's ass bouncing on my cock, it must make you hard. Now go back to jacking off to blacked porn and coping about why you can't get a girl in bed. Loser

Tired copypasta

LMT 308 is tits... do you want a highly accurate DMR or a maneuverable lightweight battle rifle. I have the SCAR17 and the LMT 308... the lmt is definitely better if you're going to be more stationary. it is amazing but heavy as fuck

i have the same combo...its nice to have both.

how much did you pay for the MWS in green, is that also an over-run rifle?

it's definitely a not a gun for noodle arms to lug around

Attached: DSCN2175.jpg (3456x1932, 1.5M)

Really? they seem to have similar roles. Is the scar less accurate?

You gonna get anymore optics or iron sights for your shit?
Also scar.

You dont even know how ignorant you are/10

Sick brace. I just got one of those second hand myself, but the dude painted it. Anyone know how to get it off?

17s is 1moa pretty consistently
MWS with chrome barrel is .7moa
MWS with stainless barrel is .4moa
