The Plan

S has HTF. You can hear those Civil Defense sirens blaring in the distance. What are you grabbing and where are you going? What's your plan?

I live in the country far away from any major city. Far away from any minor cities as well. I know my neighbors and we all help each other out so no worries there. I have a small river nearby and a pond. Plus the woods are full of deer, turkey, squirrels, and rabbits. That pond gets geese and ducks too. I know how to raise a garden and can can but doing either without modern conveniences will be difficult.

In the end, my world would get much smaller but life would go on.

I have no friends or family, I will go to my nearest church and ask if I can help in anyway. My guns will stay at home except I will have a couple handguns in my ratty looking day bag.

Depends entirely on what kind of S has HTF. Short term natural disaster? I ensure im sorted at home and go find where to volunteer. Long term economic/civil breakdown? I grab the essentials and nope out to a ranch my family owns. Nuccs? I eat a bullet after putting one in my dog because im too close to a major city to escape the fallout in time and I dont want to suffer.

Find a way to rally up with a few people I trust. Hopefully we can get a group together and establish a quarantine zone in an unsuspecting location (cityfag btw). From there, we'll find a way to get the best info possible and figure out what to do depending on what specific issue is going on.

Lock all the doors. Park the truck in the garage facing out. Load up the bug out bags, and camping gear then start loading the rest of the gun magazines.
I’ll bug in until things start looking dicey in my area.

>city absolutely packed with niggers, where it's difficult to leave by car if there's a minor accident
Bug in and wait for them to starve

>grab gasoline
>go to Kansas to burn Lawrence again
day of hellfire soon

>what are you grabbing
SKS
>where are you going
innawoods

Go to the gun store because I just shot thru all my 5.56 & 9mm.

SHTF typically pretty slowly. This blackout in Venezuela and Katrina are the biggest examples of it happening faster. It's really not a descriptive phrase; I prefer terms like Nutnfancy's WROL (without rule of law).

I am in the mountains and have access to a pinel mount and vehicle bed base plate, and possibly the fully automatic gas operated air cooled belt fed object that could theoretically interface with said pinel. So I guess I'm just grabbing the boys and the MREs.

>What's your plan?
beat my meat

I'm coming to your place to rob you

Anyone steps on my land is getting shot and strung up as an example to the rest.

Same deal. Bug in but be prepped to leave if I have to. Everything I need is nicely stacked anyhow and I can fill my car with specific gear. Trunk already has a break action single 12 gauge and bug out bag has a AR-7 inside.
In my house I will gear up, move items towards the garage door and have a AR-15 at the ready, 12 gauge pump at the ready and 2 45 ACP pistols. If they can make it I know of 2 friends that will head my way for safety in numbers. In the meantime I am filling up water jugs while I can and tossing all available ice trays into the freezer while or if it has power. I wont run the generator right away because I need to hear what is going on outside and I dont want to attract attention even if it is a pretty quiet unit.
If I had to leave it would be to go to the fishing cabin I have up north. I have some supplies squirreled away up there but nothing close to items in my home. Not to mention everyone fleeing at the same time could make the roads damn near impossible to use.

bug in until shit gets bad, then i hop on the river 100 yards from my house with my handmade canoe up to my cabin innawoods.

I begin nailing the skins and skulls of animals to posts around an altar I will construct from a bird bath spare bricks and 400 lbs of quickkrete I have layers my around

Would probably ask someone I know what's happening. Otherwise just do things as usual. Then when I wake up from with a hang over in a few hours someone can probably explain what the fuck is the commonly accepted idea of what's ongoing.

where i live would be suicide in a real situation to stay put. assuming i saw it coming and had time to get out id head to my familys cottage. beach front property on 23 wooded acres.

Awe poor puppy

>plan
Hunker down for now.
Unpin all my mags.
Keep my SKS and T81 out, loaded and reading. My mossberg is on the kitchen table loaded with 00. I've got fancier guns, but 7.62x39 is my main workhorse round.
Since I live in a pretty rural area, I bet all the farmers will gather up and seal off the whole region.
I'm good on water and preserved food for a few weeks.

This. All that porn I downloaded needs to be consumed while I still got power.

Grab Rasheed
Go Inna desert

>grab my Remington precision rifle in .338 Lapua Magnum (much baby)
>grab my ar-15 with an ACOG (for /mid-long range)
>(already carrying my fn 57)
>get my neighbor who I served with in the rangers
>get on the roof
>bring double wide ammo can full of .338 Lapua Magnum. plus 2 regular ammo cans of 5.56 NATO
>buddy is the shooter I am the spotter (he was a sniper)
> I am on the AR-15
>kill anyone that has a weapon within 4 blocks of my house (i live in a 2 story house with a high roof (about 40ft)
>hold out until we need to retreat to the basement
>got hella shit in there (MRE's, water, ammo (duh)
then, whatever happens, happens.

Grab my guns and dog. Steal a helicopter from the heliport near my house and fly home. It’ll be close but depending on winds; I should be touching down right as I run out of fuel.

>served with in the rangers
>doubt

Not that Regiment is that special.

>pinel
it's pintle you fucking turdmunching boot
do you even machine gun employment

>already innawoods

Wouldn't you like to know, eh glownigger?

>suicide
user you fuck they may not even hit population centers and we will need every body for the war of all wars after that.

>What are you grabbing?
Throw on my Gorka, Boots and Bug out Bag + Belt with Knife and pouches.
>where are you going?
To a friend not far from town, he got some land and a big workshop with bikes
>What's your plan?
Form a reliable group to survive with

If all fails, plan B is going inna woods

NO

So your plan is to needlessly murder people, and then die in a fart-filled basement after a homoerotic buddy-romance? Fucking hell, man. Get your shit together.

Any Aussies prepping for SHTF? I'm going to start getting a BOB and home essentials together after I get a job but I've got no idea about where to get alice packs, knives etc here. All Jow Forums's guides that I've seen are American and we have higher prices and stricter laws as well as a smaller range of products
Just not sure where to start with prepping really, is it worth subbing to costco?

>What's your plan?
enslaving a hippy commune of some kind
they are secluded, moderately self-reliant and weak-willed
perfect serfs for my neo-feudal domain

So i do have a wasr. But only 30 rounds. Od be very careful and try to drive to a nearby small town where the majority of my family lives. On the way, id pick up other family members. We would hunt varmint, birds and deer but id keep the ak for dangerous situations. Eventually if shtf long enough i think we would trek to colorado. Id try to find an abandoned gun store and gather as many 7.62s as as i can

I’ll bring the kool aid if you let me build my bird bath skull alter in your compound

>Any Aussies prepping for SHTF?

You're better off bugging in than bugging out 90% of the time. Don't waste your money on larp gear you'll never use anyway. You won't survive very long living out of a ruck in the bush, but with enough food and water you can survive for months in your house/flat/w.e. Spend your money on that.

>All Jow Forums's guides that I've seen are American and we have higher prices and stricter laws as well as a smaller range of products
You're right just about everything is cheaper and the laws are better in burgerland, but we have a decent selection of stuff all things considered. Get your food and water needs sorted first and then if you really want to waste money on bug out stuff browse milsurp and civilian bushcraft type stores

>Just not sure where to start with prepping really, is it worth subbing to costco?
Only if you live near enough one to shop there regularly.

Yea that guy is a trigger happy moron

I live in Detroit. I just assume another chimp out or what ever, start getting ready to go to work.

What, if any are your restrictions on bows and crossbows?

If hes bugging out, its cause he cant stay there any more you retard. It's better to stay in, but have preps ready in case you need to gtfo right then.

>calling someone a retard for helping out a noob.
Mom didn’t make you your poptarts this morning huh?

She did, not the strawberry one :(

get a photovoltaic roof and buy some of those DC fridges they used for going offroad.

waeco is the brand that seems to be popular down there. youtube.com/watch?v=gWaGGQkiIHI&t=0s

not even real toaster strudels, just pop-tarts? was she building a desktop on Jow Forums or something?

Chill in my basement with my 300 gallons of water and 6 months of food. Probably die of boredom.

>tossing all available ice trays into the freezer

Cut out the middleman. Freeze a bunch of half liter bottles of water. They last longer than ice cubes, less chance of spillage, less chance of them being contaminated once they thaw. Put down a layer at the bottom of each cooler, perishables on top, a second layer of frozen bottles over top of that.

Note- this only applies to refrigerated items. Frozen items get dense packed into separate coolers, which get sealed with duct tape and wrapped (or at least covered) with space blankets. You’ll only put ice bottles into the frozen goods coolers if you need to fill space. Big air spaces in coolers are the enemy.

Molotov on the roof will settle his shit.

Maced and beatpilled

typical Jow Forums delusional fantasy.

Bows don't have restrictions, crossbows you need a reason to own one like being part of a club. I don't think you need to keep them locked up like you do with handguns here.
Would it be worth getting one? I'm going to try and get a handgun license anyway (even though you need to keep them locked in a safe) but I'm not sure about the stopping power of bows or crossbows

Well, during that scenario I would have already been called to service. So, I would be armed and geared by the state and doing what needed. If not, then fill my all magazines, pack my shit up in to my car and then head north to my grandmas ranch. Since she would need an armed person for her protection. Also that ranch otherwise has pretty much all stuff needed for living your life.

Based lifestyle

I live in a tiny rural community surrounded by mountains with only two ways in.

My mates and I are heading for the old mines 50km from town.

Attached: Emerald Glacier Mine BC.jpg (640x425, 216K)

wipe the shit off the fan and ask which kid threw it up there.

Dumbass located. never been inside a mine huh?
mines are the worst place to go. extremely hot, many still have chemical residue, and you could all die by one smoke.

i work in those mines.

No toxic gases to deal with, they are all gold and silver workings. They are only a little wet in the spring and fall.

They have their advantages. in my case theyre high in mountain valleys, so we can see everything happening below on the logging roads below.

I have this theory that porn mags will have significant value if SHTF.

Attached: 1416271532807.jpg (2160x3840, 921K)

Grabbing my Mini 14 with all the new 30rnd mags I just bought and setting up a perimeter around my property.

Ah yes abandon gun stores fully stocked existing days or weeks into the apocalypse, why didn’t I think of that. Please, order a case of 1000 7.62x39 online, it’s less than 300 dollars. Shit even half a case, or if you’re a super poorfag buy two 40 rd boxes for $10 each at walmart every week for a few months until your sitting on a stack.

Grab Pajeet
Go innashit

This was a good kek

>I can't conceive auto correct mistakes

Cry about it pussy

Holy shit the damage control is real

Good boy

Grab my CA-compliant featureless AR from my California-approved safe. Quickly load a 10 round magazine and insert it into the rifle. Look longingly at the 30 round magazines I acquired earlier in the day, but I know that holding more than 10 rounds in a featureless AR makes it an assault weapon under CA law, and therefore illegal.

From there, I grab my CA DOJ-approved Gen 3 Glock 19 from the safe. I immediately place it into a small locked box. I then retrieve my 10 round magazines for the glock, load them, and place them in a separately locked box (seeing as how I do not have a CCW). I take the two locked boxes and safely secure them in the trunk of my Toyota Prius.

Of course, I would prefer to drive the Blazer, but it failed mog inspection this year. Such a shame, but I'm happy to know I am doing my part to help keep our air clean.

I unload my AR and carefully secure it and the magazine separately. I head out of town. I'm especially nervous as I drive through the city's streets. With all of the tents, it's difficult to see around corners or down alleys. I know I could be ambushed at any time so I make sure that my unloaded AR and the magazine are both within reach.

Just as I'm reaching the edge of town I run into a group of at-risk youths. I witness one of them draw a loaded Glock 17 Gen 5 from his waistband. I'm shocked to see the magazine extending below the grip. Person of unknown gender identity immediately shouts, "Yo, cracker, get the fuck out yo car."

Seeing as how I still have a proper means to escape, I realize I can't use lethal force in this situation. Left with no other option, I exit the vehicle. I hand the person of unknown gender idenity the keys to my car. Said person then shoots me 24 times.

The group of youths promptly pile into my former car and drive off. As I lay in the street bleeding out, I smile. I'm still holding the keys to the lock boxes. Gavin Newsom would be proud of me.

I die. I am finally free.

Well, that does sound pretty Jow Forums to me.

I love near the mountains and go there often. I live in a small connected community as well. I think civilian militias would pop up but just in case I go to mountains

Fucking kek, 10/10

RIP Cuckifornianon, a hero to his people.

The 10 round limit is for fixed mag. It specifically mentions fixed mag but not featureless. "A semiautomatic, centerfire rifle that has a fixed magazine with the capacity to accept more than ten rounds;"

Excellent posting, user

move back to the country side and spend my days hunting moose

I'm so glad to hear the city folk are going to die of dehydration and starve to death while you keep a pond and river and some game animals, user. Oh wait, that's fucking retarded. There are gonna be people in the cities who know about those rivers and ponds and guess where they're gonna go once the initial chaos is over?

>implying 90% of civilians aren't gonna flip the fuck out and murder each other in the first week and the remaining 10% won't set up tribal areas in the city in the second week

based bushwacker

Basement dwelling will be positively lethal in SHTF. Not primarily because you will dwindle away in your own filth, but because the world goes on on the outside. It won't take long before people are on your door. Govt people slowly searching through the area for survivors, as they always do, for mandatory transport out or to a concentration camp, and then more opportunistic people looking for valuables and a good time. After that, armed govt people looking for said opportunists. After that, a fresh wave of opportunists. Unless your basement matches Josef Frietzl in secrecy, you will not be left alone for long. Have a plan for all contingencies.

Not a laughing point, really. Some churches are resourceful communities and going there to help will also ensure he will get a lot of help himself too. Any mosque, synagoge, mormon temple and a good number of churches will sprout heavy firepower, massive cellars, a good number of well educated members and rows of young attractive docile female protectees in a SHTF scenario.

Wouldn't work for me, but it is a good plan.

Cute story, but there’s a few tells indicating that you’re not in/from California. First, we have no duty to retreat, which you’re implying with that whole jazz about “proper means to escape”. Castle doctrine, SYG, and fleeing felon laws are all a thing here. Then that thing about your Blazer failing smog- that’s not a yearly requirement, in some counties it’s only required upon change of ownership, and if it can’t be fixed within a certain dollar amount you get a waiver. It’s also not required for vehicles older than 1997. Finally, A FEDERAL JUDGE STRUCK DOWN THE MAG CAP LIMIT AS UNCONSTITUTIONAL ON FRIDAY. THIRTY ROUNDERS FOR ALL, GET EM WHILE THEY’RE HOT!

Yes, I’m fucking pumped.

You guys are crazy....but can I join?

How are those government camps generally run? Seems like they'd turn into absolute hellholes if they try and cram thousands of people together in a small space to live off rations

How is that delusional. Im pretty sure that’s gonna happen a lot post shit. It would certainly work better than burying the body up front. Imagine walking through the middle of nowhere and you come across a fence with a body hanging from a tree in sight of the fence with a sign that says “do not trespass”

Nice try FBI.

I have been trying to find out, but reports are strangely absent - at least where I look. There were stories from Katrina but after that I haven't found any stories at all. Which weirds me out to no end, really. Do those seeking refuge there these days - after the fires and floodings etc - have to sign a non disclosure waiver before they are allowed to enter?

I am sure the govt would want these things to run smoothly and they have some experience by now. My biggest concern is that if these places were hit by an epidemic, the govt's natural response would be to not let anybody leave.

i would say to look up the horror stories of the people herded into the superdome during the katrina disaster. next would be to check out what the conditions of refugee camps are around the world.
i imagine they're some of the worst places in the world to be.

>live in small city in the deep south
>nice neighborhood adjacent to the hood
>dawn larp gear
>cowabungaitis.gif
>tell useless roommate to calm the fuck down and really consider if he loves his annoying girlfriend or not
>tell other roommate to grab his piece and to get the cool neighbors to meet on the corner of our streets
>load up truck with extra supplies, have the fucker ready to go in case of emergency
>link back up with roommate and neighbors
>from neighborhood militia with neighbors
>block off streets leading into neighborhood and set up patrol schedule
>set traps and warning devices on footpaths leading into neighborhood
>fortify the everloving fuck out of strategic houses on corners and ones that are expected to be on the "front"
>board up bottom floors, repurposed fencing set up to prevent molotovs from making contact
>booby trap everything
>fortified fighting positions on upper floors
>predetermined fields of fire
>extra ammo, molotovs, and improvised grenades sitting in boxes ready to go
>fire upon anyone that we don't know because 9/10 they will be looking for reparations
>consolidate all arms and ammunition captured and repurpose them
Nice thing about where I live is most of my neighbors are my friends and we know each other well. If we survive the first week of the great shitblizzard the plan would be to work on our fortifications, create a more organized evac plan, and conserve/collect needed supplies. Specifically, water, food, medical supplies, belt fed weapons, ammunition, and explosives. In that order.

While you're at it look up what happened in the french quarter during Katrina. An unknown number of people killed and reports of firefights. I can tell you that the U.N. run refugee camps are not fun places to be.

Attached: 1521753259102.jpg (211x264, 54K)

How do you plan on strongarming your noncompliant neighbours into conforming with this plan? How many likeminded individuals on that street are there compared with ones not in the loop?

>Step One: Observe
Before you decide and act, it is important that you actually have some kind of picture what's going on.
>Step Two:
Well, that depends on the first step, so...

Huh. You killed my buddy when he was out minding his own business, now me and his brothers are firebombing ur ugly house. Later faggot

Since Katrina, FEMA doesn't to make "camps". FEMA offers rental assistance so people can stay in nearby motels in the short term and apartments while their house gets fixed. If it gets so bad that all hotel and apartments are booked, they can hook you up with a trailer that you can place on your property or, worst case scenario, make a temporary trailer park somewhere.
