(n) Armor-Piercing, concealable weapon.—The term ‘armor-piercing, concealable weapon’ means any weapon or device capable of being concealed on the person and from which can be discharged through the energy of an explosive any of the following rounds:
“(1) .450 Bushmaster.
“(2) 5.56mm (including the 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington).
“(3) 7.62mm (including the 7.62x39mm, .308 Winchester, 7.62 NATO, 7.62x51mm NATO, .30 carbine, 7.62x33mm, or 300 AAC Blackout).
“(4) .50 BMG.
“(5) 5.7x28mm.
“(6) Any other round determined by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to be capable of, when fired by such weapon or device, penetrating the standard body armor worn by law enforcement officers.”.
>penetrating the standard body armor worn by law enforcement officers So anything that can penetrate soft armor level 2? Maybe even stab vests. Noice.
Charles Reyes
I get the other rounds. I mean, I don’t, because I don’t see the reason why you’d have to mention RFN three times and .30 Carbine twice, but I still kinda get it.
When the fuck has anyone been killed with .450 Shrubmaster? Police or otherwise?
Colton Smith
Yeah, we know. They're getting crafty. Vote damn it.
b-but drumhflsllf banned bumpybois, that means I should vote straight tivket dem!
Ryder Cook
Nice. Looks exactly like my ‘44 Springfield from the CMP
Wyatt Gomez
You won't be voting your way out of what's coming. Harden your heart.
Kayden Nelson
>that comic Fucking stupid. Where I live, the results are always more like >70% (((Republican))) >20% (((Democrat))) >10% Third party You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by voting third party in such cases. Shows both of the other ZOG parties that they won't get your vote until they make some serious policy changes.
Luke Hughes
I'll take this but they gotta give us back real AP ammo in all those calibers
Isaiah Brown
This. And pray you live somewhere white.
Kayden Bell
Ah yes. All those rapscallions with .30 carbine rugers must be brought to heel!
Mason Edwards
Thank god. I cant wait.
Landon White
>Any other round determined by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to be capable of, when fired by such weapon or device, penetrating the standard body armor worn by law enforcement officers they could pan literally anything
Joshua Nguyen
That looks like the stalls at Reload in Tarpon
Isaac Martinez
Rep Val Butler (D) must be trying to patch up with the police union with this one. I don't suspect she actually thinks this will pass, as "concealable on your person" is rather vague compared to the rest of 5845 which has explicit lengths in inches to avoid this problem.
Also, fuck some noise of making everyone a felon who owns a FN57 or AR pistol when they can't file for a taxstamp in 18 months because of a glut of applications.
Hunter Allen
>“(6) Any other round determined by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to be capable of, when fired by such weapon or device, penetrating the standard body armor worn by law enforcement officers.”.
Wouldn't damn near any standard rifle round, when fired from a concealable firearm, penetrate body armor rated only for pistols?
>ban hunting rifle boolits, but we're not taking hunters guns!
I'm holding out hope that the bill going through Missouri will lead to something drastic. I am not aware of anything quite like it passing before. Time will tell.
>Introduced Feb 15 Bill is probably dead by now, but still. They know what they're doing with this shit. >"but nobody wants to take your guns away" Do they just throw these bills at the wall and see if they stick?
This would kill my favorite round. They better hope it doesn't pass.
Ryder Martin
>If the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms insists upon a firefight, give them a firefight. Just remember, they're wearing flak jackets and you're better off shooting for the head.
Pretty sure a shotgun could punch through armor if you're close enough, am I wrong?
Eli Parker
and what about with slugs?
Matthew Cook
groin and lower jaw.
Grayson Wood
So Dracos and five sevens become NFA items?
Luke Flores
None of that is actually armor piercing. May as well legislate against fire breathing dragoons.
Christopher Russell
OT question: Are there any commercial quad barrel shotguns ?
William Martin
we don't all live where you do dingus
Brody Sanders
That's just an incredibly bizarre list. .450 Bushmaster bad, .458 SOCOM good .30 carbine bad, .327 federal good 5.7x28 FN bad, 4.6x30 HK good 5.56x45 bad, 5.45x39 good
And of course, (6) is perfect. Since there is no "standard body armor" that all officers wear, BATFags can ban anything that penetrates a shirt? Even if they don't have the chutzpah for that, and go with, let's say, level II armor as the standard, any handgun cartridge over .380 ACP can be loaded with light/fast bullets to do it. In fact I expect .32 ACP and .380 ACP can do it too, though I haven't seen any testing of those rounds with light copper bullets.
"capable of being concealed on the person" is more-or-less copied from the definition of an AOW, and in that context it is read as "less than 26" OAL". It's meant to appear to be targeting AR pistols (plus the FiveSeven), and IIRC Safety Harbor does sell a .50BMG AR pistol. (Though I think it's only a pistol on the basis of barrel length, but not affected by this because OAL over 26".) And of course we're not supposed to notice that it gives ATF the ability to include practically every handgun on the market.
But most shotguns are not under 26" OAL, so not considered as concealable.
William Evans
I wouldn't be surprised if they promote lowering the standards of vests police wear, if they'll even be allowed to wear any, just to get more calibers on the ban list.
Colton Edwards
i could see 5.7, 7.62tok getting banned if anything, though if the ft hood shooter didnt get the 57 banned nothing will
Christian Clark
Center mass with rifle rounds, yiffboy.
Asher Parker
It's the word "bushmaster." Ever since sandy vag there has been a special kind of hysteria for that word
Jaxson Hill
Shoot for the gut and pelvis in close quarters
Kevin Barnes
Yup. You can't tourniquet the arteries in the groinal cleft and a smashed pelvis will immobilize anyone.
Easton Bell
Level IIIA armor should "stop" a 12-gauge lead slug, but you might still die from the trauma alone. It might not "penetrate" the vest but it might press the vest into you deep enough with enough force to disrupt something on your insides.
I'm sure some special AP slug would go right through though. Maybe solid copper or with a steel penetrator or something.
Zachary Bell
I don't see how anyone thought to let the "LAW ENFORCERS" determine the "LAW". If you gave your local PD power to determine legality, you'd be in the worst kind of martial law in a month.
>But not my department Yes, your department too. You can justify being the states cudgel "because we only hurt the bad people" if it helps you sleep at night but I haven't met one cop without a story of just wanting to do someone in or bragging about the violence they commit.
I used to give cops benefit of the doubt, but once you're social with them, they love bringing up the violence they get to commit.
Caleb Harris
Yes, the whole idea of proposing crazy bills is to "compromise" to something more supposedly reasonable, rinse and repeat until the statists have all the power.
Carson Wood
>Level IIIA armor should "stop" a 12-gauge lead slug, but you might still die from the trauma alone. No you wouldn't. If your armor stops the projectile the worst you're going to get is a nasty bruise, if that.
Anthony Lee
Years ago some gun magazine did a test where they put a vest on a dummy rigged with sensors used to determine the effectiveness of baton strikes. I don't remember if they used a shotgun at all but a 45 colt, which didn't penetrate the vest, applied enough force that they determined your chest would have been pushed in between 6-8 inches...
Mason Ross
Not if it literally crushes your ribs into your heart you won't, dumbass.
Jaxson Gomez
Discussing unpleasant things often helps people cope with emotional dissonance, just saying
Noah White
For a handgun caliber, yes.
There's a lot more energy behind a slug, generally speaking. It'd be a NAAAAASTY bruise, and possibly some cracked ribs.
If you have some sort of additional trauma plating to cut down on that and spread the impact force over a wider, stiffer area, sure. Just soft armor, it's gonna wallop a small area pretty good.
This will also depend on the individual's physical fitness and bodily, heartiness, so to speak.
Juan Diaz
>heartiness
or, uh, hardiness, is what I was getting at I think.
Brayden Cooper
Moss yesterday had some Century Choppers and some made in West Virginia out the door for $590. Atlanta is flooded with them. Trump would sign such a bill. Lots of White Republicans would cross over since it is thiught of as a gangster gun and they are Blue Lives Matter tough on crime types. It would be a good 2020 election year tactic to bring back up and piss off 2A single issue voters. Going to SBR some of my stuff unless it is always going to be a rifle length build. CZ EVO in particular.
Connor Scott
>Not if this unrealistic thing happens OK let me get right back to not worrying about that.
How many years ago? What magazine? What vest? What type of dummy?
>It'd be a NAAAAASTY bruise, and possibly some cracked ribs. I stand by my qualification: >if that
Ryder Turner
Chopper?
Sebastian Powell
THUGSPEAK for a Draco, NPap or pistol style AK variant. Usually not applied to a pistol AR.
This is literally the opposite of reality--right-wingers don't vote for anyone but their Jesus-figures.
Democrats vote for dumb 3rd party idiots like Jill Stein.
William Thomas
Used in this shootout. Draco dude was not charged since we have Stand Your Ground protection and he was the defender. NOTICE tbe fastest man in Atlanta, AKA The Red Flash. youtu.be/sQBn-JUG0do
Benjamin Rivera
Its a toss up. Soft body armor, with no trauma reduction system? Your looking at broken ribs and possible internal bleeding. That's a hell of a lot of energy being dumped into your chest in a small area, even without penetration. Especially at very close ranges. Its a type of wound you would see in a car accident, no penetration but massive amounts of energy being dumped into a persons internal organs. That is very potentially lethal, just not immediately lethal. Those soft systems are meant to stop handguns, the most common type of firearms used in crime, a IIIA or II soft system isn't supposed to handle that much energy.
Jacob Rivera
Just watching this gets my blood pumping
Jayden Price
Wish he at least had a brace and dumped that robber. At Southlake Mall right now. Atlanta is a don't start no shit won't be no shit kind of place. Assume everyone is armed.
John Parker
>if that
No, no. DEFINITELY that. The if would be on the end of MORE damage. You're getting a REALLY bad bruise from a slug, BARE MINIMUM.
Chase Hernandez
>To amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986
They're not trying to tax anything. They're trying to ban rifle-caliber handguns the same way machineguns are banned. And literally anything else the ATF decides they don't like. Fuck this bullshit who's responsible for this bill?
Thomas Gonzalez
>a IIIA or II soft system isn't supposed to handle that much energy I know but my issue is with the statement that armor might, should it not actually fail, allow your chest to be caved in in such that it would kill you. I could see bruising and broken ribs if you're standing right in front of the shotgun but even then death seems like a stretch, especially since the slug presents a larger surface in the first place.
Evan Lee
>Who's responsible for this bill Jews Who will win because they have all the power and we have nothing.
Hudson Jones
It's a diamond dozen virtue signalling bill that'll go nowhere, put your tin foil hat away and maybe focus on real shit like our current zionist overlord not getting the ATF the fuck in check.
Christopher Cox
>I love my job because if someone says some dumb shit to me I get to push their face in the ground. >Yo I got to beat the breaks off someone today, wish I could do that all the time! >Last week I got to run someone off the road, dumb bitch hit a tree! >The problem today is dash cams and phones, back in the day someone ran their mouth you pulled them out and beat them
Is kicking someone in the head that's handcuffed on the ground and removing a guys shorts to taser his balls a cry for help in pig speak as well?
Brandon Sanders
your point?
Sebastian Perry
