Okay, here is a serious option which could be illegal. I live in the Juarez-El Paso border. if you are in Mexico and you want to go to the united states you have to go through customs and put your stuff on an x ray machine. And if you are in the United States and you want to go to Juarez you also have to put your stuff in an x ray machine operated by the mexican army.
Now, not all port of entry to Mexico have this x ray machine. The port of entry in El Paso's downtown has no machine to go into Mexico. The best option is to buy the weapon in El Paso and some boxes of cereal and hide some part of the weapon in different boxes of cereal so you can go to the mexican side without being asked about what you are bringing. In three years I have bought a lot of things in El Paso and no one in the Mexican side has asked me about what I am bringing. They only care when a guy is carrying with 100 boxes of shoes, beacuse they know they will sell them and they have to pay taxes.
Forgot to mention this works only on the pedestrian crossing. Also, use headphones or look distracted so the officers would not say anything to you.
