Is an Hk USP compact a good enough gun to be my only gun for carrying/self defense for a few years?

What's your height and weight?

Yes

>any USP
>single stack

Not for me. Why dont you go shoot one and find out faggot. The only person that knows that question is you.

>single stack
know how I know you know nothing about compact USPs?

Get a P30.

5'8 160 but 13ish% bodyfat because I'm a gym bro

if .40, get usp
if 9mm get p2000
if .45, get 45compact

This except replace p2000 with p30

p30 is full size
p2000 is compact
p30sk and p2000sk are sub-com.
p30 is service sized evolution p2000, which was improved evolution of usp

I live in cuck york. I can't motivate myself to get a license. My dream hand gun, and probably the only one to own, would be a compact USP, with flush mags.

Yes. And they rock.

Yep, +3 rounds over a P2000SK/P30SK. I wouldn't call 13 rounds of 9mm the worse case in an emergency, you can get away with it for cc for sure, and for home defense you can't go wrong with a handgun in tight corners.

Why

HK45 Compact is probably a better bang for your buck honestly. I always see the HK45 Compact going for like 600 dollars and the USP Compact is outrageous. Maybe that's just where I live though.

No. There is no reason to buy the USP compact, especially in lol 9mm. You might as well carry the USP 45 fullsize since it's not much bigger, but is much much better.

If you want something to carry and in 9mm then go for the VP9. It'll carry better than a USP compact.

They're comfy.

USP is an overpriced choice, and doesn't make much sense in 9mm

What the fuck is this bullshit supposed to be?🙁

are you retarded? its a fucking comparison chart

>"""Power Factor"""
>"""Defense Factor"""
>Implying any of these guns are not going to do the job you need them to do when you need them to do it

No love for the Steyr? It reminds me of the USP compact, but striker fired. It's wide as fuck though.

>dat girth

Fuck the haters, they're amazing

What's behind the four roses to the left of the Willet?

Short answer yes. Long answer ye.

>No Grip Factor or Cool Factor
2/10 chart🐷

I'm amazed at how perfectly you outed yourself as an idiot.

its a screenshot from rainbow six

Yes, HK is too fucking good.

This is autism incarnate

It's good. Most people find the P2000's more contoured slide easier for carry so I opted for that, but they both hold the same number of rounds and feel the same when shooting. The P2000 is also cheaper and comes with a standard rail.
The USPc I shot had a noticeably better trigger though.

I'm actually tempted to sell my VP9SK and get a similarly-sized P30 or P2000.

Or maybe just keep it and buy one anyway.

Attached: 1512276384315.jpg (596x960, 47K)

idk if this is just me but the grip texture on the p2000 makes me uncomfortable. I feel like I got groped on a crowded subway or something. I don't know how else to explain it. Those vertical lines on the sides, I don't think you can call them serrations. They're awful.

I had one for several years, great piece. Only got rid of it because I didn’t like the .40 cal and had to find mags for reasonable prices. If I could’ve afforded a 9mm one at the time I prolly would’ve bought it.

Big O ginger liqueur

If you're going to carry a USPc I wouldn't carry a 9mm when there's way smaller, more comfortable options available. It's not a small gun. It's barely a compact

I carry one in .357 SIG and it's fine but it's not the easiest option available

What about the p2000sk?

Sure, but I went with a P2000 as it's more comfortable to carry.

Definitely not a problem for me.

I'd like to add a P2000SK to my carry collection. I also wish they'd make a single stack P2K as well

They don't even hold enough 9mm to kill a man. You need at least a g19 for 9mm to be worth it.

>muh glock!

>own glock 19 and P2000
>carry P2000 more
They're both good guns. I'm just partial to DA/SA.

>don't buy a Lexus! Get a base model Honda Civic it will last longer!

>car analogies
You have to go back

>have to replace every part of a Glock to make it functional
>muh perfection!

>HK is Lexus guise!

If glock is Honda then HK would be like a Subaru or some shit.

Nice meme. Do the glocknade one next.

There's a lightly used P2000 for $550. Is that an alright deal?

>Have to replace shitty luminescent sights with night sights
>Have to buy rail adapters for half their guns
>Have to buy extended mag release
>Have to buy match springs to make the trigger usable

>no compromise!!

Sure smells like poor wannabe cops in here

>no relavent handgun contracts

>O-our guns are just too expensive to be adopted! Otherwise everyone would use them! Premium quality comes at a cost! B-bulk discounts? N-no, HK doesn't engage in that

wouldn't it make more sense if you compare an HK to a Porsche?

Fuck off fanboy. Hk sucks and their marketing sucks.

C9A1 for CCW would be breddy gud

You getting it for carry or what? da/sa or LEM?

>HK sucks
Why?

Bad triggers
Bad ergonomics
Low capacity
Cuck stamp ruins aesthetics

Attached: DSC01026.jpg (1500x999, 315K)

is P30 fullsize though?
Isn't it only a little bigger than a G19? Glock considers the 19 their compact model.

You're kidding right? That's one of the least invasive cuck stamps I've seen.

>Bad triggers
they're decent, better than any striker fire.
>Bad ergonomics
maybe for your bitch hands. paddle mag release is god tier. all the controls on a USP are fuck huge.
>Low capacity
shot placement is kang. 12 .45 in a USP is more than enough.
>Cuck stamp ruins aesthetics
your problem for living in a cuck country. don't they hide it nicely under the frame anyways?

Owners invariably think they're Gucci/Operator guns despite them costing the same as glocks and nobody in SOCOM using them anymore.

>they're decent, better than any striker fire.

Their single action is worse than many striker fired guns due to the gritty take up and poor reset.

>maybe for your bitch hands. paddle mag release is god tier. all the controls on a USP are fuck huge.

Paddle release is literally designed for manlet hands. If you dont have an extended release, you need to pull your trigger finger all the way out of the trigger guard and awkwardly push down. If you have babby hands and can barely reach the trigger anyway, this isn't a problem, but if you're an adult man, it's uncomfortable.

>shot placement is kang. 12 .45 in a USP is more than enough.

The gun is big enough to fit 15. There's no reason for the gimped capacity but poor engineering.

>It helps muh spring durrability!

If that's HK's actual reason for the capacity, then they need to hire a consultant to explain how springs work.

Only shot a usp but the trigger was dog shit compared to beretta 92 and 5906.

>they're decent, better than any striker fire.
I love my USP but don't tell lies. The triggers aren't terrible like some people make them out to be but they aren't great. I even prefer glock triggers.

Ew, I don't. My p2000sk trigger (da/sa) is a bit heavy for DA, and has a longer than usual pull, but I will never like a glock trigger.

But SEALs still use the Mk24

Attached: 1553811842616.jpg (349x620, 107K)

that isn't a mk 24

Attached: HK45-Compact-Adj-Night-Sights1.jpg (1200x846, 255K)

disregard that im retarded

It's okay user, I know people aren't used to seeing it.

That magazine is fucking gross

Your opinion is wrong.

>you need to pull your trigger finger all the way out of the trigger guard
Your index should be out of the trigger guard as your thumb reaches for that release regardless. Why is your finger still in the trigger guard if you're not physically pulling the trigger?

Are HK45 pistols made in USA or Germany?

The compact tactical posted ITT has a proof mark that isn't the German one so I'm assuming US. I believe the Navy contract ones were all US made to comply with the contract terms so that makes me feel a little better about it.

Hmm if they are american made i would buy the USP compact 45 instead.

You can see the mag in the picture you blithering giboon.

Are you telling me that looks like a single stack mag to you?

no, for serious self defense the minimum you should consider is a $3,000 nighthawk 1911 in 45ACP

>Bad triggers
>Bad ergonomics
>Low capacity
>Cuck stamp ruins aesthetics
this applies to beretta, springfield, and S&W semis as well

in the end, there can only be one.

>not SVI

A gentleman of exquisite taste.

rotation in carry for colder days. But I really just want to collect a USP9c, P2000, and a P30 in 9mm whenever they come back in stock.

no... youre not

gunbroker.com/item/805979977
Here's a P30 in 9mm for a similar price if you want da/sa. I'm a LEM fanboy though. I didn't realize P2000s still cost as much as they do.

Why not just get the 2000sk and carry it all the time?

Is believing someone goes to the gym and has mediocre stats really that hard? Are you that much of an out of shape fatass incel that you can't believe someone on Jow Forums lifts?

What HK pistols are still made in Germany?

I'd feel okay with a 9mm usp compact as a carry gun though it's a little chunky

Everything but the HK45

>Average trigger
>Average ergonomics
>19 round standard 9mm mag capacity
>No cuckstamp (unless you count the word "Croatia")

Springfield isn't that bad.

>fullsized for cc

>shit trigger
>grip zone
>not cheaper than a S&W or Glock
>muh america advertising
springfield is shit

Absolutely.

It's a great gun and can do both concealed carry and home defense, you can also use higher capacity mags from the vp9 I believe.

lots of trigger and safety options too, very comfy controls and size.

The subcompact still has an impressive 13 round magazine, fag.

I admit that the GRIP ZONE was super cringey. Their whole marketing department is cringey (calling magazines "megazines"). I'm pretty sure they've learned their lesson thanks to the constant well-deserved internet ridicule.

Yes I am faggot, granted I was a bit heavier in this pic.

Glock 19, usp isn’t good irl this isn’t call of duty
