Nice user, what brace are you rocking? I was considering black aces foldable

SB Tactical S.O.B. Nice and soft on my shoulder, (if I ever have to do that, which I don't, never, ever).

You know you can shoulder braces now right? Those dog killers confirmed it in a letter specifically asking about it.

Forgot to say yes, I like the BA folder. What's the length of pull with it. Anything over 13½", ATF *might shoot puppers.

Yeah I know. I just like to remind people of the hypocrisy!

What is that bandolier and connector combo you're rocking? I'm erect

Here's my next idea. If I can keep the 26" length, of course. Rather than having a big, gaping roastygash on the back for the through bolt, I'm gonna try bolting it blind from the inside.

Cheap-ass Chinese shotshell holder screwed onto an old garand sling off ebay. $30 total.

The brass sling mount base on the bottom of the grip came from Numrich, $8. I'll age it to match the antique sling swivel, (also cheap on Amazon).

Did I mention I'm cheap?

Attached: PicsArt_03-28-04.09.08.jpg (2246x878, 458K)

I was wrong, the sling base is $9.

Nice user!! What's the attachment point on the tube?

The sling mount on the front is the CDM Gear MTRS

Thanks baby, I owe you a blowie

It makes it really comfy to carry, too. Even though the strap is exposed on the inside, it cuts into your shoulder just a touch before the leather shot carrier spreads the weight out.

I love cheap shit that works. I'm also gonna distress the wood a bit after/during finishing it so it looks old.

It's looking really good user! Keep it up! What did you use for the furniture? Was it surplus or by hand?

Pistol grip was a gift from a guy on this forum. He contributes to these Jow Forums threads occasionally. The forend was a $20 ebay find. Not sure it was Mossberg cuz it took a Lotta sanding/trimming to get it to fit. It's was advertised as an old walnut corncob from a police riot gun.

Can you fold a brace if it shortens it past 26". Strictest sense of the law, looking for information, nothing else

If weapon has collapsible and/or folding (stock or brace) the OAL is determined in the unfolded and fully extended position

I heard the same. I was looking at adding a folding buffer tube adapter to mine, but I think it would make the LOP over 13½".

Awesome

Anarchy Outdoors Side tracking folder, inexpensive and good function if you're looking for suggestions

that is fucking awesome user
great job

NOYCE

Thanks. Here's the magazine cap light I made from a rechargeable mountain bike light.

You're making me get ideas for my memewave

Attached: memewave.jpg (1334x750, 311K)

that's awesome, will it handle the recoil?

Hey, I 'member that pic!

Thanks!

Put 50 rounds of 00 through it so far, light still works fine. It's waterproof and built tough for mountain biking, so it'll last. The electronics are all epoxied.

My dick is hard.

Cool. Still ugly though.

Sorry user, I think you caught your reflection in the monitor right before you decided to post this. Common mistake

You're right, I am pretty cool.

Now I don't like mine because I saw yours.

>horny hapa slut
mine too

Nothing wrong with that, user!

>N-no you
Pathetic

Stay butthurt, friendo.

Why are you even here 14 year old no guns? Just leave before you embarrass yourself

Tell us about your Rustington 870. I imagine you don't have that problem with that finish, though. Is it new?

Here's my next project.

Attached: PicsArt_02-10-03.41.37.png (1500x883, 987K)

Please tell us how you did that

Here’s my Shockwave with a SBM4 brace. Had to drill it and put a bolt through the brace to mount a sling. Works good for now I guess. I’m hoping to switch to a SBa3 or SBa4 which I believe has QD mounts

Took a cheap, tough, rechargeable mountain bike light, removed it from it's rubber strap, cut the knob off the back with a hacksaw, and used JB Weld to stick it to a cheap magazine cap I found on ebay. These pics are in order.

It's not super bright, so clearing dark rooms with it coming in from bright sunlight won't work. Where it DOES work exceptionally well is in a dark house when you get woken up by an intruder.

Don't believe me? Tonight when you wake up to piss, turn on all the lights and see how long it takes your eyes to adjust.

If you've been sleeping, you do NOT want super bright.

Attached: PicsArt_04-03-02.23.22.png (1400x1400, 3.62M)

i mean the heat shield

Nice. I considered drilling my brace, too. What's your length of pull? Gotta be below 13½", or ATF will delete doggo.

Attached: PicsArt_03-23-01.14.28.jpg (1474x1507, 368K)

It’s legal in every way

OH, duh! Just the standard Tacstar Universal barrel shroud. Took a bit of hand shaping, clamping, prying, to get it to fit. Bent it around the barrel with a dead blow hammer. Kinda fucked it up, but meh. It's a shotty, right?!

Good job!

What adapter is that? Is the tube milspec or some funky "pistol" dimensions?

Freakin Mcguyver over here

You should make a video showing how you did that. Also a link to the light you used

Yup, pistol tube that came with my Anderson RF85 AM15.

Here's the adapter. Also Tacstar. I like it better than the Ergo because it's metal, and it follows the lines of the receiver better. See at the back where it continues the lines of the receiver?

I used a flat magazine cap from a Brazilian Magtech 586 I found on ebay for like $5. Had to file the end of the mag tube a bit to get the teeth to engage the springball on the barrel loop, but I didn't loose any capacity in the tube, so...

Attached: 1651130.jpg (160x150, 4K)

Got the forend all installed with thinned epoxy. I had to remove a good amount of wood from the hole in the middle to get it to fit my action tube. I was afraid the thinned wood might be brittle, so I mixed up some epoxy, thinned it with acetone, and really soaked it into the wood from the inside. Just before it set, I painted the action tube with thicker epoxy, slipped it in, buttered the cap threads with epoxy, and screwed in together. It's all one piece now.

If I ever have to replace my action tube, I'll just buy another one.

I'm saving the outer finish for a very light stain and Minwax Antique Oil finish. Then, I'll be distressing it.

Is it legal to put a recoil pad on a brace? That might actually constitute constructing a stock.

It flash rusted all the way from the back of the receiver to the top of the barrel.

I sent it to robar and had it NP3 coated. Slick and snot now.

Nice! That'd be a great boat gun.

Tried to get the forend ring and action arm ring to be balanced with the amount of exposure. The wood forend is both shorter and smaller diameter than the stock plastic one. Gives it a smaller, more delicate feel.

It seems lighter somehow.

Glad to see the pistol grip getting some new life. Great quality from Gene at blackgunswood, but a bit of a miss with those giant finger grooves.

lmao I googled it, that is illegal user, should probably take that off if you want to post images of it here.

I mean, I'm not your mom, do whatever you want.

I'm thinking of removing the finger bump. Great minds think alike! Which looks better, guys?
