What does Jow Forums think about a battle belt/suspender setup? Saw HSGI has a a belt that you can buy suspenders for, kinda looks like an ALICE setup with MOLLE.
I like the idea of ALICE, but I'd prefer modern products over milsurp to LARP in.

Looking to make a dedicated AR10 recce setup out of it.

If you have alot of stuff on your belt you need suspenders, if you dont want your belt to shift on you mid fall, stride, etc, you need suspenders.

Velays makes a jungle setup that’s supposed to be the end-all-be-all. I like the BFG suspenders, suspenders aren’t a bad idea: just make sure they’re doing something for you

Flaps are still a thing both conventional and spooky side - the bungees bought the farm because everyone started to realize they fall apart after awhile the ones that don’t look like they have anything holding them in have a little kydex/polymer/whatever proprietary material taco slot that grips onto the mag. Works really well. Still use flaps for jumps etc. Tactical Tailor is still your man for pouches that you’re thinking off. I like using WTFix straps to attach them instead of the plastic malice clips
