Sanders wants NZ style ban

Is it wrong to want him to win just to see what happens?

Accelerationism is NOT what you want.

we'd be flooded with even more illegal weapons and certain Hebrew politicians might start getting DELETED

did they actually recover any kiwi guns yet?

last I head, they were struggling to get to 50

I heard a man was recently killed by police for his guns iirc.

Really only 2 things would happen:

1. Group A- people who turn in their guns via by back program (probably the majority).
2. Group B- people who hide their guns in the earth.

People said the day bump stocks become banned they would fight back. Well, nothings happened.

F

so, current count is:
> 37 honestly surrendered
> like 6 weapons used in the shooting
> whatever that guy had, bought in blood
total: not even 65 weapons

yeah, this has been going well

Unequivocally incorrect.

Poor Bernie. He's really fraying at the seams chasing voters now.

If you want something to laugh at. watch The Humanist Report on YouTube. The dude is a total Bernie cuck and cries about anything that steals the spotlight from him

fuck him

user, mental illness is not something we should laugh at.

Have you seen it?

>People said the day bump stocks become banned they would fight back
no one said that

no o feel the same sometimes, but more for Kamala. It'll never happen but I genuinely wouldn't mind an authoritarian leftist like Kamala to do it with an executive order, for the luls

>People said the day bump stocks become banned they would fight back.
Literally no one said that, retard.

We're on Jow Forums. How could we not have seen mental illness?

There's no way a ban on semi-autos would pass constitutional scrutiny. You have to be a complete moron to believe that.

The only bumpstocks being turned in are ones that are found from nogunners. There's hardly any reports at all of them being
a. turned in or
b. consficated

So fuck off defeatist bitch

>constitutional scrutiny
Yes, that is why it would fail. Certainly there would be nothing else that would hamper the state's efforts to disarm you by force.

You realize if they ban "assault" weapons nothing will happen, right? There is no civil war end game here that Jow Forums fantasizes about. People are a pushover. We've seen it everywhere gun control has been implemented. Hell, the US already banned "assault" weapons once nation-wide and there were no repercussions (sorry, Timmy, you weren't that important).

>but muh 450 million guns in the US!!11!1
No one is properly organized. Literally does not matter how many guns you have.

At best you'll have mass non-compliance. That will exist for years until eventually an event happens again and the state decides to forcibly remove them. At which point it won't matter anyway because people will be even more cucked than they are now. Hell, they'll probably give out free Amazon Prime for turning over your neighbor who has an evil semi-fully-automatic child killing death machine AR-9000.

Wake up Jow Forums. We're fucked. The endgame is not winnable.

He seems to be equivocating here. Following NZ’s lead would mean confiscation but he says ban the sale of “assault weapons”. Either way, fuck this guy. If he is the dem nominee he will have his ass handed to him in the general.

I have a feeling trump is going to have a low voter turnout desu

Quit being a defeatist bitch

This times 1,000. Us American gun owners are all bark and no bite. Yea, we rant and vent our frustration whenever gun control is proposed or passed. But at the end of the day, nothing happens. We don't a damn fucking thing. There will NEVER be a second American Revolution or Second Civil War. 95% of American gun owners will happily cuck out and surrender their guns when New Zealand-style gun confiscation comes here. We are too fat, lazy and stupid to unite under one banner and actually FIGHT for our rights. If we actually gave two fucks for our rights, we'd actually start some shit but that will NEVER happen. Prove me wrong!

Not with another couple of Supreme Court justices on the line. Despite how hard the media shills far left policies, most voting Americans are pretty moderate. A Sanders nomination would def mean a trump reelection.

nobody ever gave a shit before, there are probably millions more rofls in the US after 2004 than before 1994

>Sanders nomination

Not going to happen. Democrats do not want old, white men running for President. My money is on either Senator Harris or that bag-of-dicks Senator from NJ (Can't remember his name).

They are banning more than just "assault weapons" here. Prohibited firearms include -
all centerfire semi auto rifles
semi or pump shotguns with a detachable mag
semi or pump shotguns with tube mags that hold 5+
all magazines that hold more than 10 rounds (so 99% of tube mag .22s)

bunch of parts are also banned.
Semi auto .22s are still legal with a 10 round mag limit. NZ Police also wanted to ban any centerfire with a detachable mag but thats been put off for now.

just over 200 as of yesterday

>most voters are moderate
Right. This is why Clinton lost. Because moderates aren’t set on a candidate just because of the party. They didn’t like how she was very scandalous and a pathological liar... well... trumps kind of turning the same way now.. so. Although I’m sure moderates wouldn’t vote for a socialist, don’t be surprised if not many people turn out to the polls

Look up Ross Perot.

I meant Hillary, not Bill

>How do you do fellow gun owners

Sanders? You're worried about Sanders? The fucking GOP and the NRA are endorsing red flag laws:

npr.org/2019/03/26/706673156/in-the-shadow-of-suicides-senate-panel-makes-rare-move-to-consider-gun-control

youtu.be/7sNiklO506A

Red flag laws for those not in the know essentially enable any random person to snitch on you commie style and claim they think you're going to harm yourself or other people with your guns. Your guns could be taken from you even if you didn't commit a single crime.

There's too much instability and they want to take whitey's guns away. That's what's really going on here.

Also the SCOTUS rejected the bump stock appeal

Okay, then what do we want? A slow, rotting death, like that which is clearly going on right now?

Glowniggers please take shotgun mouthwash

>Blatantly assuming everyone that posts an opinion I don't like is a government agent.

I think your tinfoil hat is on a little too tight.

I would give my left nut to be wrong, but I live in California. I've seen firsthand how people just sit back and take it. I've seen the definition of "non-compliance" here with our AWB.

>"I changed my BCG so that my AR is now bolt-action instead of Semi-Auto. I can now keep all my 'evil' features. I'm so rebellious!1!!1"

That's the typical gun-owner. Not some dude who sits by the door with an EFP on trigger for the armored car that's showing up to his door because he refused to comply.

Do you really think gun-owners are going to somehow organize and actually, effectively stop something? Lets be clear, there will be limited resistance, but the media is controlled in this country and the narrative will just be "crazy right winger murders poor innocent police officer who only showed up to take away his rights without due process." Just wait until AI determines you're a threat to society because 12 years ago on an imageboard you made a joke about how Stephen Paddock couldn't even set a high score. Then you get redflagged and no one comes to help.

In fact, the only saving grace at the moment is the military and police are still right-of-center. Of course, that's going to continue to change as the military continues to adopt leftist policies that are forced on it in the name of political correctness.

The time to compromise ended ages ago, yet gun-owners continue to give up whatever is asked without getting anything in return (bump stocks anyone?). Then we celebrate because, for a total of 5 days, Californians could buy magazines that hold >10 rounds. It's embarrassing.

This is probably an accurate representation of our future, sadly. Kill me.

No, they didn't. Details matter.

They declined to block enforcement of the ban while the case makes its way through the courts, but the case has not even been decided in lower courts yet, let alone appealed to the Supreme Court.

>People said the day bump stocks become banned they would fight back. Well, nothings happened.
Nobody really gave a shit about bump stocks. For all intents and purposes, they were a toy. That's not to say people are happy about it, but it's not really a hill worth literally dying on. Realistically speaking, if you were really going to use your gun against the gubbamint or in SHTF or whatever, and you really wanted a giggle-switch option, there are far better ways to accomplish that (pic related) than putting your rifle in a janky piece of shit that rattles it back and forth.

That all being said, I think semi-autos (particularly "muh assault weapons") are a pretty clear line in the sand. The AR-15 in particular is arguably -the- most common firearm in America. Trying to take those away won't go well. Up until now, gun rights have been dying a death by 1,000 cuts. They implement middling policies wherever possible (raising the age of ownership, limited carry, licenses and registration, etc.), and moderate policies (half-assed mag cap bans that let you buy magazines in other states, half-assed AWBs that still let people own frankenARs, etc.) where they know they can get away with it (shithole blue states with low gun ownership in the first place). I don't doubt that the new generation of leftists in America are insane enough to just go for a total gun grab, though.

I will agree with you to an extent--if they have any sense, they won't go for door-to-door confiscation, they'll just criminalize ownership. Without a violent push from their direction, there is a substantially lower chance of a violent pushback in the other direction.

Speak for yourself

All those preppers are prepping for what? Don’t deny them their dreams

This. Accelerationism is a meme because NONE of the candidates extreme laws will pass. Whether its Sanders or Yang. What will pass will be their less extreme laws like Yang's retarded gun laws, or really anything Sanders related.
At best they'll pass watered down version which will not cause le epic SHTF scenario

Unfortunately, ARs were banned before, and it was deemed constitutional. There for it could happen again.

>Unfortunately, ARs were banned before
Yes, but with an established sunset period of 10 years, and during a period where they were -significantly- less common (as was gun ownership as a whole). And, again, they weren't really banned outright--people could still get their hands on frankenshit or grandfathered stuff. The hypothetical we're discussing is an outright ban on semi-autos, or at least enormous restriction ala what the UK has, both of which are far beyond what US AWBs tend to do.

Honestly I think trump is more of a danger towards confiscation than Biden. Even Clinton didn’t want to confiscate anything. But trump already showed he supports that. All he needs is a push
