As someone who's been through Navy boot camp, I find it hard to believe any branch could possibly be more of a joke. I was actually bummed out when I got there and realized I would never do an obstacle course, run with gear on, or get muddy. Navy boot camp was a just a test of patience and attention to detail, rather than anything physical.

They don't want foreigners touching it, plus most of our allies that use the same shit alongside us can't maintain it anyway. And they have a hard time filling those overseas jobs because most guys that are qualifies have families and want the stateside one.
