Parts would be printed in PETG in orientations to maximize strength. Metal inserts for bolts would be used as well to link sections together. A steel rod would run the length of the stock to add weight.
What's with the bar behind the pistol grip?
Looks good.
Hope its better than that Pepe Liberator shitshow a year or so ago.
It's meant to make it look like the peperator.
Its there for strength to link the top and bottom sections of the stock
Kek
Luckily I am only printer the stock for now, maybe a receiver later.
Link to more about the project maybe?

Some faggot decided to make and sell a dirt cheap gun out of pipe and 3d-printed plastic, planned to sell it for $50. Naturally, the idea of a fully semi-automatic carbine for less than a nugget got Jow Forums's attention.
So he kept posting his development progress on Jow Forums, and at every step he exemplified the Dunning-Kruger effect majestically, while repeatedly doubling the price.
Last year, after a prolonged absence, he came back with a glued-together 3D-printed stock (cosmetically a small step up from his plumber's-nightmare "prototype", but still non-functioning), claiming that he will somehow steal the Hi-Point carbines' market share despite no longer being cheaper. And bragging about his Honda gf, a lot.
Haven't seen him since.
damn i got hype for a quick second
an ar-15 alternative that's cheaper than a nugget makes me the big iron

Your memes are weak and your bloodline will not survive the winter
maybe without the keychain rings
I haven't worked on it much in a long time (got sidetracked), but here's a WIP.
So just a stock for an ar7?
Looks nice. Is that with charging nubs on each side like a vz.61? Or just a normal charging handle that's not fully designed?
I've always been a fan of the vz.61 nubs for keeping little carbines smooth and snagless, but I guess it wouldn't work great with an optic.
Yeh. I was saddened to find out that the normal stock isn't symmetrical, so trying to shoot with your left eye is pretty shit.
The AR-7 charging handle collapses inwards for stowing.
Can you put all that shit in the buttstock?
No, the stock is meant to just be fun to shoot with. I made no attempt to recreate the buoyant nature of the original stock.
I did, however, include a hole that goes through the back in-line with the screw for the rear sight leaf, so you can adjust it without having to remove the stock.
>AR-7 charging handle collapses inwards
Cool, I didn't know that.
But I still think an AR-7 copy with charging nubs on both sides would be pretty neat.
