Pretty janky. You'd be better off with spending the $3000 on night vision or something and just having a nice semi auto carbine in shtf and for range fun it seems like it would be a lot more fun as a normal 9mm, maybe with a max-11 upper to make it nicer quality to use. Besides if you really think you'll need full auto in shtf why not just not throw away the parts you are supposed to throw away from a demilled parts kit gun or something for installation after laws are no longer a thing. I don't recommend doing anything illegal of course but it's just that this concept seems pretty ridiculous.

The aftermarket for the Mac machine guns is absurd, you can get parts to set them up as machine pistols, uzi and thompson sized submachine guns, an open bolt automatic rifle, a closed bolt submachine gun, closed bolt assault rifle, and belt fed light machine gun.

Long story short, the guy who started the project knew fuck-all about gun design and was generally retarded. Then when people (including people with actual industry expertize) gave him genuinely good advice on design changes he got all asshurt and refused to listen.
Sporadically OP would post photos of his "prototype in progress" which was obviously very, very poorly done with hand tools by someone who didn't know how to use a file to save their life. Sadly the ATF deemed that upper a firearm, which means you can't legally put it on a full auto lower and thus they never sold any.
You can get a Fightlite MCR and put it on a Tenko adapter though, those will hopefully be shipping in a few months.
